Can you export to ProRes? It's a visually lossless format, and then you can make h.264/5 from the ProRes.

I'm wondering about your new build. Specs sound good, but I'm interested in you Windows install. Win11 I assume, is your machine a Dell or HP, some such that windows was pre-installed. Or did you give it a clean install yourself, and remove the bloadware, etc?

I like what @Ishan Y said. If you are going to export at 1920x1080, then set that as the sequence size, your 720p clips with suffer a bit, but all in all you be getting what you see. And ProRes LT or even ProRes proxy preview files. GoPro Cineforms previews work well also.

It looks like your sound effect is not long enough. Either strech it out, possibly changing the pitch, or put a cut in a beefy part of it (before it starts to tail off) and then put the clip again next to it, to extend the length. Put a quick audio dissolve between the two (or three) cuts.

@Alex367466572b5i I just searched Puget's website and couldn't find anything that matches your statement: <<Puget Systems with "free" access to hardware, also no longer tests Adobe Premiere Pro...>> In fact, from what I can see, they are modifying their benchmark software and are removing the HEVC test, due to a limitation of the API. That's the closest I can come to your statement, otherwise, nothing else seems to have changed. I think your statement is wrong, or misleading at best.

Wow, I must say, testing that is mind-boggling! 🙂 All kinds of inconsitent results. I have an older project I keep around to test multicam and consistency, etc, and that seemed to stick a bit better (started in 2017) but not certain of the sort order. Also, open folders get closed when switching workspaces. Moving the frame-rate field over one to the right seems to prevent the sort order going there, but, my mind is boggled, so I'm not sure! 🙂

I see it here also. When switching workspaces. I'm using PP beta 24.4 b83 with Win11 24H2. Yep, kept switching. BTW: If you don't already, you might want to turn off Windows/Workspaces - Import workspace from project.

I didn't see @Wenda24817131qk0b 's post to just now, but my suggestion would have been strongly to move it to After Effects. Anyway, if you can do that, it's so much nicer for these type things. Anything beyond a simple / straight-forward time-remapping should be seriously thought above in AE. It's there in CC package and is well worth looking into.

There's another thread around about some issues with 5000 series cards, aren't quite yet optimized. I'm getting excellent performance on my 4070. I've rebuilt my workspace on occasion. I might select the All Panels option, then remove (close) the panels I don't want, while I move around the other panels to where I want them. If you are suspecting something there, it's worth a try. Clearing the cache is something I do often, I have a .bat file to simply remove those folders. At minimum I do it with every update, which is often, as I'm mostly using the beta version full time.

It seems to be working here. I zoom in, then can pan with the MIDDLE mouse button, if not, then using the Hand tool does work. I'm on a Windows machine, are you using commodore, mac, windows, atari, etc? What version Premiere? 1, 2, Cs, CC, etc ?? Win11 24H2, PP 25.3

Start PP with the normal desktop icon, and select the options you would be OK with, like resetting the preferences, clear cache, etc. I just tried both, PP then PS, and in PP dropped in a PS file. Then quit and loaded PS first then PP and all was well. Did you upgrade your nvidia driver? I'm on 576.80 - STUDIO driver only (always) Similar setup as yours

On a PC we see strangeness like that from the video driver. Be sure to update your driver (nvidia with a clean install) from the manufactures website.

@yash-lucid So, yes, I gave it a try and everying work as expected: There's just an .AEP in the files so I created the mogrt from AE, (it gave a warning of a non-adobe font), I continueds and dropped it on a timeline in PP (beta 25.4. b72) and it works fine. I then opened that project in 25.3 and it still looked good and worked fine. Win 24H2
