I have a frameless online help developed by using RH2020. We have microcontent groups with intent phrases and responses. However, I noticed if I search for a single word that is part of the mc intent phrase that I have defined it shows the corresponding mc response. The regular search starts after that. For example: my intent is projections in graphs if i search for graphs it shows me the description/response for the above bolded intent that I have defined. Hi, I am generating a printed/word output of a frameless online help developed in RH 2020. I am supplying a proper word template and RH is accepting it without errors. However, when I generate an output the margins are not showing up equal. The left pages are showing to extreme left and right pages to the extreme right. Also the footer is not showing up at all. I have a frameless online help (Studio) skin output. I have setup a few microcontent terms with the intent and responses. For example: Intent: Revert to Approved Plan Response: <Short description> When I seach for the strong Revert to Approved plan the correct short description is displayed as expected. I have a question from the dev team. I guess they only have the answer as it comes under dev area but just checking here. The application has a timeout for example 6 hrs. The help is integrated in the application. When the application timesout it asks the user to log in again as it signs out the user. What happens with the help is it does not allow further browsing or navigating to other topics once the timeout is exceeded. The testing team also noticed an instance where the toc remains intact but when the user tries navigating it shows error 403. The question from the dev team is from within RH do we have any way of handling timeout scenarios? ... View more

We have a frameless output and we are using studio skin. Recently the web server has been moved to AWS/S3/Cloudfront technology. The online help works as expected from the new web technology. There is just one small issue when we publish subsequent help content updates. The existing user still sees the cached help files. The user has an option to manually clear the cache and then access the new help updates. But if we dont want the user to manually clear cache the dev team suggested adding a small code snippet in the header of all html help files.   <meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"> <meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"> <meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0"> To manually add this to hundreds of html files is impossible. For one of our project we had been using Rh2017 and generating Responsive HTML5 output. Now we have moved to RH2020 and for one last release we still need the Responsive HTMl5 output. we dont have Rh2017 anymore. I tried generating Responsive HTML5 output from Rh2020. The output comes out fine. everything works. However, the context-sensitive help calls are failing. It looks like it is not honoring the older tokens or is not able to search them in the map files. Does something change in the output that is generated from Rh2020 with regards to the map file? Any pointers on fixing this? I used the default responsive html5 output preset. ... View more

I had checked a few months back about this scenario. I have a frameless online help output. Works perfectly on local machine. When I am am navigating through the help topic and I want to go to the landing page (with tiles) upon clicking the logo, it works perfectly on local machine. When I copy the help output to the web server (on AWS) everything else works. But when I click the logo to return to the home/landing page (with tiles). It doesn't work. Upon clicking the logo nothing happens. No error. just displays blank while space/page in the right pane: Ideally when I click the logo it should take me to this landing/home page: Any idea if this is a bug? Not sure if this can be fixed. In rh2017 we could add an embed code in the html view. in rh2020 can we add this? We have some videos on brainshark and the url to that. Not sure if this can be controlled from RH2020. I have a frameless output and the when we click Help from within the product, the help is launched in a new browser window. However, it does not display the full browser controls like the Refresh button or Back and Next buttons. Is that something that we can set from RH? ... View more
