Since Animate is way past its zenith and its community is fractured and almost dead, the introduction of the Assets panel did not result in the enthusiastic creation of a market place, where people like you could find endless supply of animated assets. As far as I know such a place does not exist and no one has any interest or motivation to create Animate assets. You may be able to find old Flash files from the bygone era when Flash ruled the world.

Graphic Symbols and Classic Tweens are the way to go. Your description above may make sense to you, but I don't think it is giving enough information about your setup to allow anyone to answer you. Best would be to record a video, demonstrating the problem, or upload your FLA somewhere and provide a link.

Just to clarify where various settings are stored: Custom Shortcuts reside in Roaming: C:\Users\YourUserAccount\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2024\Shortcuts Commands, other plugins, Workspaces are in Config: C:\Users\YourUserAccount\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate 2024\en_US\Configuration When you delete these folders, they will be recreated with the default content upon the next start of the program.

Just associate SWF files with FlashPlayer.exe, which is located in your Animate folder: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate 2024\Players In fact, you can copy the EXE and put it in a user folder. Then your associations won't be affected if you update Animate and remove the current version.

Click in the middle of your problematic Classic Tween, then from Properties specify direction: You can also type a number higher than 1 in the field next to the drop-down. In fact, you don't need the middle keyframe. You can do one or more full turns with just two keys.

A typical way out is to export a PNG sequence and WAV separately. Then merge them into a video in Premiere. PNG sequence export uses a different render mechanism and would most likely work when others fail. To export, use File > Export > Export Movie... and for file type choose PNG Sequence.

I'm glad to hear you're making progress, Matt! Yes, it is very likely that Animate will not be able to scale bitmaps beyond a certain range. You can try to alleviate the issue by having a 'hi-res' and a 'lo-res' version of your bitmap and switch between the two depending on the type of shot you need.

I can only say that there have been multiple reports about font issues with Animate on Sonoma. As far as I understand Sonoma is not an officially supported OS for Animate, but I may be wrong. The white dot indicates that a filter has been applied to the frame. Most likely this is a blur filter. Click on the keyframe and then remove the filter from the properties panel.

Close every other program that is running in background and try again. Make sure you close everything, even resident programs, esp. if you're using some kind of clipboard assistant. When you get it to work try to reintroduce your background programs and test again to identify which one is causing the issue. Report back your findings to help others in the same situation.

These look like screen refresh issues to me, not a corrupted file. You should restart the computer and possibly have fewer other programs / browser tabs open while you work on the animation. If it happens very often, you might want to split your movie into separate FLAs or see if there are updated graphics card drivers available. All in all this seems rather harmless, but just in case keep saving versions of your project as you go to prevent potential data loss.

You'd better rework this as a Layer Parenting structure on multiple layers animated with Classic Tweens. Bones are unusable and I doubt that you will ever be able to achieve any meaningful results with them. No one can.

There are too many unknowns to even guess what could be causing your issues. It could be the PNGs, bugs with bitmap support in general which is quite limited in Animate, bugs with Layer Parenting, of which there are many, a combination of these, or something else. As a general advice I'd suggest you leave the PNGs for later and start exploring Animate and symbols by creating simple vector artwork within Animate. Once you get to a point that you know what you're doing and how things behave with simple vectors, you will be able to trouble-shoot and introduce bitmaps in the workflow.

Try to change the End value to see if the guide will appear: It may be just another Mac-specific bug. You can try to set your display scaling to 100% and restart the computer. This may or may not help.
