@_nicdean,   I can't replicate in 2024.6.1 on Win 10. I also can't explain what it is doing.   All 3 export options from the Captions tab/3 dots behave the same, and they use the last designated Export path. An export does not need to be used, only designated in the Export dialogue/Location/save as.   If I select the sequence and use File -> Media -> Captions it goes to a path I used for many exports, but it does not change if I designate a new path or actually use it for an export. @d_tgna @CarlosGH,   I believe this is a bug: PR allows embedding and exporting sidecar for 608 captions, but does nothing to adjust the times when applying the time tuner effect in PR 2024.6.1 for QuickTime embed and scc sidecar. I only tested embed for PR 23.6.4, and it also does not work correctly. I tested PR 2022.6.4, but it ignores the embed command.   I am testing on a SurfacePro Win10.   I believe the best workaround for sidecar is to export as you are, which exports a full length scc file. Use Subtitle Edit to retime it. Open in SE, then Synchroniszation -> Changed Speed (percent), and set to 90%. Save as and this file matched perfectly for me. But I have no tested for maintaining formatting. Yes, I think the issue is that they are using the OS spellcheck. They think "ize" is not INcorrect. Which means that this may require a change in the speech to text.   There is a search and replace. In the Transcript tab (source monitor or sequence view), add "ize" in the search box. Then click "Replace" and add "ise". I should have been using the word "recognize."   I found a link to the staff post regarding spell check relying on the system settings.   https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/how-change-spell-check-lanhuage-in-premiere-pro/m-p/12905409#M408067   I just tested by creating a Word document and typing Recognise, Recognize, Chesecake, and Color.   With my regular US English setting, it flags Recognise and Chesecake as incorrect. When I switch the proofing language to UK English, it flags Color and Chesecake, but neither  Recognise - s or z.   The problem is the spell checker allows either spealling for UK English, and the only setting option is to teach it a word it doesn't know. But it knows "recognize," and will not correct it for another word it already knows - "recognise."   The workaround here would be to search for recognize and replace with recognise. If you have a 708 stream only, it does NOT show the embed option, because PR will not embed a 708 stream in Quicktime. It is a cool function.   I did not find a problem as such with inaccuracy, but I'm not using it and have no previous behaviors to compare it to. But what workflow would benefit from that if it really needs a Delete Transcript function.   Replace footage does not work. The transcript remains, and is associated with the new clip - even if the times do not match.   Delete the clip from the current project and reimport it. The transcript is gone.   Most of the comments in this feature request do not provide examples of workflows that need the option to delete the transcript. Most have other ways to accomplish the goal, such as re-transribing. Or the user does not understand the difference between the source media transcript (which is always the whole thing), the sequence transcript that is the parts of clips included in the sequence, and static/sequence transcripts that are created as the sequence exists at that moment and do not change as edits are made to the sequence.   Intuitively, it just seems like a good idea. Practically, I have to work through whether there isn't a way to accomplish each goal. The transcripts are coded into the project file. @Scott25296190yn7u, Your post got moved to this thread about the bug discussed here. The bug continues in 24.6.1, but is fixed in the Beta 25 and should be in the next/25 release. When I first installed 24.6.1, I did not see the bug, but on a separate machine (also Win 10), it is easy to replicate. Workarounds - I do not see a full list; here are 2: Use List view or Freeform. As the items are scrolling click on one and drag it slightly. There are several versions of this workaround reported - at one point I thought I could just click on it, but that does not fix it today. In the transcript, I changed "cheesecake" to "cheesecake," and added "color" and "recognise." Sorry for the delay in responding. I am in Asheville NC, and the hurricane damage truly deserves the word "catastrophic." We now have power and cell phone service at home, but, in our mountain location that is very poor internet via cell. We still have no other internet, and NO WATER. I'll try to post in the Lounge. We are at a friend's house about 2 hours away.   The file looks okay, creates a sequence, and can be transcribed from the Project panel, Sequence, and Source monitor opened from the project panel or sequence. HOWEVER, just as you describe, once transcribed, it now shows "No dialogue" in all those scenarios.   I can see the transcript clip and data in the unzipped project file. @morphinapg,   Thanks for the reminder that your situation was different. And in part because it appeared intermittent. Also it deals with subtitles. And you are working with a locked video track.   I tested 24.6.1 further with the Reference monitor open. If I attempt to edit text with the Selection tool active, I get the problem. If I switch to the Text tool first, I do not.   If I try this with subtitles, I have no problem, perhaps because selecting a subtitle changes to the Text tool before typing the edit?
