Seems like clicking on a link that begins with "https://forums. adobe.com" gets me an instant "can’t connect to the server at forums.adobe.com."
That's no matter the browser, whether it's my wifi macbook or mobile browser using 5G.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Click on "choose an app on your PC" , navigate to and select the Photoshop.exe app, select the "always" (open with) button so that Windows does not see it as a one-time request.

Checkmark "Delete Cropped Pixels" in the top Option bar before you crop. It will create a single layer cropped image. What this also means is you cannot edit the crop later on.

Photoshop stills runs on Macos 12. but Adobe Camera Raw 17 will need 13 as a minimum.
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html
One problem on install was that the GPU for ACR 16.5 was disabled meaning it wouldn't work at all. Deleting TempDisableGPU2 file in ACR's GPU folder fixed that problem. That bug disabled it on a M1 Mac.

Otherwise, all seems normal.

Installing Ps 2025 shut off Camera Raw 16.5 GPU acceleration.
It was an earlier answer here that helped:
Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/GPU/Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw/
and delete TempDisableGPU2 or GPU3 file. Note: ~/ means your User Library. That's where the ACR GPU folder is.
Restart Photoshop or Bridge and ACR is now working.
So I'm back in business. ACR 17.0 won't install, MacOS 13.1 is the minimum.

Latest news is that Adobe has pulled the plug on any CS activations. They closed the activation servers even on CS6. So you are out of luck even if you could find a copy.

The Dell Inspiron does meet the recommended specs, but you would want to "future proof" and do some searches on the work you want to do with it.

So it specifies 6 but prints 8? Check printer settings...
If you can't fix it, see:

I noticed a guy open a can of beer and pour it down the toilet, followed by another can. After the third one, I asked him if something was wrong with the beer.
"No, I'm just tired of being the middleman."

The camera raw plugin expects Mac support. The extension is .plugin not .bi It wouldn't work in Windows.
Below are the files found in the Mac plugin.

Sorry to hear that. You can report it as a bug.

It is possible to display Camera Raw in Vietnamese on a Mac. It should work for Windows.

Did you uninstall the English version of Photoshop, uninstall/reinstall the Vietnamese version?
My guess is that Camera Raw is reading the English language pack.

Camera Raw should adjust to Photoshop's UI settings under Preferences > Interface. This is from a NEF I clicked on after setting Photoshop UI to Vietnamese using ACR 16.5 under MacOS. I would think Windows would do the same.
Try Photoshop File > Open and select Camera Raw under Format.
From this link https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/change-the-language-setting-for-your-creative-cloud-apps/m-p/5223414 "Windows users have reported the need to remove and reinstall the application for the langauge to switch."

If you uncheck this as Jeff pointed out, then you can use the Q shortcut. My concern is that it will also activate the single key shortcuts for other hidden tools unless you delete their respective shortcuts.

Other users tell me the fix works for Ventura. But I'm on an Intel laptop and you have a M1 ARM chip.
The path is to the Finder plist is:
~/Library/Preferences/ folder. The ~ is important, don't leave it out com.apple.finder.plist should be in that folder.
If you can see it. You are halfway there.

Hi mdrayerrn. This is a Thumbnail size fix, but not a font size fix. The idea was to give folks a visual clue when selecting thumbnails in the Open dialog box. Now I have an Intel Mac, not an M1, so I can't say if that option is still there. I would have to ask those who do own the new M-series processors before I go further.
You can adjust Finder icon sizes without the Plist fix. Cmd / will place a slider at the bottom of the Finder window where you can adjust the thumbnail size.
But it doesn't work for Finder dialogs you call from Photoshop or any other app. That is what the fix is for.

The Maximum Macos for a Macbook Pro 2020 should be more than Mac OS 12. I would safely say Macos 14.

I'm running Monterey, so I can't answer that. And I'm reluctant to tell you what to do to your system, although I suspect Big Sur is getting obsolete and you might want to upgrade.
However you can go into Preferences > Image Processing and adjust the Remove Tool to "More Stable."
Photoshop 2023 also has the Remove Tool and you are free to install and run it alongside 2024 and see if that works better with Big Sur.
Go into your Creative Cloud Desktop App choose Photoshop and fom the 3 dot menu, Other versions.
At this point, I'm at the "do no harm" stage and I would like to leave further advice to the better Mac minds here.

Have you tried deleting the invisible layer?
The Error message suggests deleting the old layer and recreating a new one:
Also you can open a blank file Cmd-n and see if the remove tool works. Might also try resetting it.

The Layer you are on is invisible because you unclicked the eyeball next to it, and that is why you see the prohibited symbol. You can choose a visible layer and if need be, checkmark "sample all layers" in the top options bar. I guess you have that layer turned off for a reason.
Also I uncheck "remove after each stroke". That way if an item needs more than one stroke to cover it, I can do that before clicking "apply".

We would need to see the entire workspace with the layers panel open. Cmd-Shift-3 will produce a Fullscreen snapshot file on the Mac Desktop which you can then upload in a reply.
