Assuming your don't have multiple text flows (A and B), you don't "Apply Master Pages" unless you set up the apply master page reference page table. You want to USE a master page (Master Page Usage).

Sorry, I meant INDESIGN's "Document fonts" folder so it only appears in the one document. (For Window's, simply right-click on the font and select "Install".)

The Create Slide option inserts an Image Grid, not Image. The grids minimum images is 2. Insert a blank slide and add the image block (single) image. Turn on/off the options you want.

@Bill Silbert It looks like we posted at the same time. I would instruct the OP to use the Document Fonts folder and put the font in it. That way, depending on where the font came from, it can't damage the OS.

If it's NOT available from Adobe, you would need to install it. There are a couple of ways to do it depending on your needs. Report back after trying @Mike Witherell suggestion about Adobe Fonts and we can go from there.

On Adobe's home page, log into your Adobe account with your Adobe ID. Then check your account settings. This will show you any subscriptions or purchases you may have. Did you get a serial number from your purchase? If so, register the number with your Adobe account. It's also possible you got a "coupon" code to purchase the software and you need to actually purchase it through Adobe. If it is not registered with Adobe, they wouldn't know anything about it. If you can't register it, you would need to contact the company you purchased it from.

Take a look at Microsoft surface computers. Do you want the one with the detachable keyboard. The pen is extra, but you can buy offbrand pens too I had one for a number of years and it was a great little computer that could work like a tablet without the keyboard

Since you mentioned "beachball", I'm assuming you are on a Mac. I have no problem importing .doc files on my Mac. What happens if you take a problem Word file, save as RTF, and then back to .doc? What data do you have to back up the .doc vs .docx statement? I perfer that format for formatting.

@Ben_Cutting9841 What is your affiliation or business? Your post is a little over the top. While I am a fan of the Abobe CC subscription, I don't think I would go so far as to say Adobe knows how to support its users with such enthusiasm. BTW, be careful with MS Surface systems. Once the battery reaches its EOL, you have to keep on a constant power supply.

I was able to get the PDF down to 30 MBs. It didn't look like it had much quality loss. At 200+ pages with lots of graphics, I wouldn't expect much more than that. Is your client trying to email this catalog? The 10 MB limit for emails is an artificial limit and actually outdated by today's standards.
