If you are referring to a paragraph line endings reflowing, you can disable that as @rob day mentioned. Note that the Adobe Paragraph Composer would not cause other paragraphs to reflow--only the one being edited. Keep in mind that turning this option off could affect the quality of the typesetting.   If you are referring to text moving to other text frames, don't put everything in linked text frames. Content that you don't want to reflow should be in stand-alone frames and not linked. InDesign includes some sample scripts--one of them is called BreakFrame. You could try... Start an InCopy workflow. (You don't need to actually use IC.) Export the common text to IC files. Import the IC files to the other documents. If you check out the document in either ID or IC, you can update the other manuals. That way, you can keep separate books and even use different type styles (but with the same name) in each manual if necessary.   Another option is to use conditional text and put all the content into one manual/book. As I and others have said, get as much RAM as you can _stuff_ into it. That system supports up to 32 GB RAM. I believe that model has soldered RAM which means it can't be upgraded after the fact. As a tip,  you can use the Windows key + left keyboard arrow or the right keyboard arrrow to quickly move the windows around. I was able to log into both my person and enterprise accounts*.  The basics (sorry): check the spelling of your loging and password; and the case of the password.  (I use Microsoft Authenicator instead of passwords for my OneDrive's, so I don't know if that was an issue.) It's _possible_ that other readers may open/read the form correctly, but it is a crapshoot. Mac uses Preview by default which I know mangles forms; Windows uses the Edge browser.
