I have been editing avchd from several camera's now, never copied the whole file stucture, but just the clips. The clips have always played just fine. As do the clip from Jakub and Deeno. As for Trents questions. My computer is a couple of years old. Yes a virus program, No clean install, and just one account that of administrator.

If you are using CS6 use Dynamic Link or export from Premiere straight to mpeg2-dvd. This will give you two files one for video and one for audio. Import these into Encore, make menu and burn or make image and burn with Nero.

I own a GoProHero2 and it edits just fine with CS6. If your machine is a bit on the lean side you can convert the mp4 to Cineform avi's with Cineform Studio (freeware). Cineform is a visually lossless codec and edits very well. I like it a lot.

Premiere Pro does not support mod files. Some are lucky by just changing the extention. Others have to convert: http://gilles.bihan.pagesperso-orange.fr/converio_095.htm However Premiere Elements does support mod files.

I like the fade in and out and the title fade, but a crop preset for letterboxing? I rather have a title for letterboxing, see what i am doing like adjusting the horizon. On export set it to letterboxing.

If you set it to 'match sequence settings' you end up with the codec that is used for preview which is of lesser quality.

This is what i see when i open the export settings. I select a preset and hit queue: AME opens. I select the DV legacy and go back to the export settings when i get this. Hope this makes sence.

There are only two legacy options in H264 BluRay and they are for dv 480 and 720. The other legacy options appear when you select the DV legacy option in AME.

I find that some fonts dont look right. This one looks fuzzy (aliased): This one is too bold. Letters need more room in between.

You need to make a new matte in the Titler or Photoshop. Each black bar should be 132 pixels in height.

No need to burn the iso to disk. Extract with winzip or winrar.
