I believe your instinct is correct. For some reason, when you allow your system to sleep, it thinks your Cinema Display is turning off. Sometimes, correcting this is trying a different connector cable - or connecting to a different port. I think your Cinema Display only has the one DVI port, but maybe try a different cable.  Another thing I'd try is turning the Cinema Display off and on BEFORE waking from sleep.  Hope this helps. ... Adobe's idea is to have the Creative Cloud app running in the background at all times, to connect to the cloud. These apps connect through the CC app, not on their own. If you don't want to keep it running all the time, you can opt to start up your Creative Cloud app and log in before starting Photoshop. Without seeing the actual contents of the layers, it appears that the lower layer is being used as a Clipping Mask (object>clipping mask>make). When you hide it, it can't do it's job. BUT - for the first paragraph, please note that by default, the pipette will measure the full combination color measurement beneath it - with all the colors as combined. If this is working when you transfer the same file to your local disk, your drive may need maintenance, or be about to fail. Do you have a backup of that NAS drive? If so, do you get the same error when trying to open your file directly from that one? Your problem can be an indication of impending disk error, or even just cable errors, when it's an NAS. First thing to do is ENSURE YOU HAVE A SAFE BACKUP of your NAS!  Then, try opening the file from that backup drive. If that works - you may need to get some maintenance done on your NAS drive. Please note - Adobe does not recommend working on files directly off networked drives - they recommend bringing your file local, then saving out. Hi. I'm sorry - I'm not seeing what you mean by "reflection" change. To me, the quality of these side-by-sides is the same. So, if your computer captured it well, but your screen doesn't show it well, that's a very clear indication of there being some kind of Graphics card issue (GPU). First thing to do is try disabling GPU under Preferences>Performance. You'll need to restart Photoshop, to see if there's a difference.  Also, make sure your GPU driver is up to date. Your GPU is plenty for Photoshop. If this happened since the date of update, I recommend using the Adobe Cleaner Tool and then reinstalling an older version of PS, while reporting this to the Bug Reports section of this forum (tabs on the top of the forum). Also, simply a clean installation with the Cleaner tool will often remedy the situation. You can use the Shadow/Highlight feature in the Image>Adjustments>Shadow/Highlight - but that will permanently change your pixels (it's what we call "destructive" editing). If you use that option, I strongly suggest using it on a duplicate layer - or a stamped layer. But, One of the strongest ways to do this is using a Curves adjustment layer. Sandboxed is a function of the root of your operating system, and is not an issue with either Illustrator or Photoshop - UNLESS you're using a 3rd party filter that may not be approved as safe by the MacOS. I do see that you're using the original version of Big Sur (11.6) I recommend backing up your whole system, and running the updater to MacOS 11.6.6, To see it, you need to go to System Preference>Software update. Neural Filters depend a lot on your Graphics processor. I had a problem with them, and had to turn OFF "Use Graphics Processor" under Preferences>Performance. For some reason, Adobe and Apple just don't always play nicely. You can also try adjusting the level of GPU support it uses, in that same dialog box, and see what works best.
