Yeah I deleted the ones I showed in my screen post and all of them still show up under Presets in the develop module. So I guess they are embedded someplace in the newer versions of LR. I'll have to check my notebook.

Do you have any presets listed in the Develop module like I listed in my previous post. All those B&W presets? They might of been carried over from previous versions of LR. I think I started with LR 3 or 4 on this system when I built it back in early 2011.

I don't have LR install on my virtual Machine of OS X so I can't check but normally they would be in the Users\YourUserName folder. From an Adobe document. Presets and templates /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/[preset or template folder]/[preset or template filename.lrtemplate]

Yes they will. To find the folder just go to the preferences, Preset tab and click the button to "Show LR Presets folder". you will get a folder called LR (Lightroom) and under that there are many subfolders for all kinds of presets, templates and keyword and Label sets. You might also find a listing of previous versions. I have 5.7, 6.51 and 6.6 even though I uninstalled 6.6 and I am a subscriber.

Please post the Exact path to where your install of LR is looking for the presets. It should be C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets\Lightroom Presets. In your screen shot above the Path seems to be pointing to the C drive but then to a subfolder called Adobe and not to the Users subfolder.

You don't use the Creative Cloud desktop app. You have to manually download and install the original release then the 6.5.1 update.

Thanks BUT. There is already a patch for Bridge and Photoshop that fixes this problem. ACR 9.6.1 Why can't they just implement this same ACR version in a LR 2015/6 > .6.1?

No problems here after downgrading. But I suggest, for the time being, that you don't convert any files from any camera to the DNG format. I certainly won't be ever again. I've learnt my lesson.

For both of you check the Destination the imports are going to for proper Write permissions of the drive/folder. For thecat uncheck the option to use the graphics processor. Then Test an import.

What Date are you looking at? If you are using Finder they may all have the same "File Creation Date". That is when the File was placed on the hard drive, Not when it was taken. I doubt Apple allows Photos to change the actual date the image was taken. In LR that would be the "Date Time Digitized" and the "Date Time Original". In other words the capture time and date as it was placed into the Metadata if the image file by the camera. As I stated above if you want all your original files you will have to get them Out Of the Masters folder inside that Package folder. I totally agree with dj_paige. Using more than one cataloging program is foolish and confusing. Pick one and stick with it.

No matter whether you Sign in, Are Signed In, Stay Signed In, Pause/Stop any syncing with LR Mobile, "IF" you are not actively syncing a collection from a catalog with LR Mobile you get that prompt when you create a New Catalog. The OP is asking how to TOTALLY DISABLE LR Mobile. You can't, It can't be. Sorry mattg you are going to have to live with that prompt screen or stop creating so many catalog and start using one catalog and Keywords and Collections, along with separate folders for clients by date of shoot, to separate images. I have no idea why you can't separate images in your Web Gallery without having to create a catalog a day in LR.

The Photos Library is not your images and the actual Library file from Photos can't be imported into LR. You will either have to Export all your images from Photos to some place on your hard drive then Import those Photos Exported images into LR. Or if you don't mind loosing all your edits you can find all the original images in a Mac Package file (Folder) under your username > Pictures > Photos Library.photoLibrary. Right click on that file and select "Show Package Contents. It will open up to many subfolder one of which is called Masters. In that Masters folder you will find all your original images under other Subfolder usually by Dates.

That is not the point. The point of the original post was to Disable LR mobile completely. You can't as has been proven by the OP and by me "When you are creating a New Catalog". I have no desire to enable LR Mobile for any reason and certainly not to test. Thanks.

Just updated to the newest version of PS 2015, 2015.5, and the problem isn't fixed yet in ACR and Bridge. Bridge now displays Fuji X-E2 DNG images for a short time, as thumbnails in the content area, and full image in the preview area, but then the preview becomes a small thumbnail and the original thumbnail in the Content area is just an Icon. Adobe you need to FIX THIS

Not really. When LR Mobile was introduces I gave it a try with the same catalog I have been using for years. Tried it, didn't care for it and stopped using it. Deleted all content, uninstalled from my phone and turned it off in LR computer version. I still get that screen.

I think you don't get this screen/dialog because you are using LR Mobile. No need to ask you to sync up a collection from your new catalog because you already sync up one from some other catalog. You can only sync collections from one catalog.

Same here with LR, Bridge>PS>ACR. Rolled back LR to CC 2015.5.1. That was fairly easy. Now the task is to roll back Bridge, PS and ACR. I'm going to try ACR first as I think that is all that got updated in both Bridge and PS by the latest update. I know one thing now. I won't be converting any more RAW file formats to DNG ever again.

Check alll your print setting in the Print module of LR. If there is any Preset selected or Saved Print settings create a New Print.

You are selecting more than one photo or more photos than you think you have selected. LR is then exporting all the images you have selected. LR in no circumstance selects images on its own or exports more images than is selected when the Export dialog window comes up.

Images are not LOCKED in LR. LR is just a Database program. Whether or not you have imported images into LR has nothing to do with Deleting them using the File Manager program that comes with all operating systems.
