Well I uninstalled my current driver and went back to a version from 3 months ago.... Still have black screen on Pr Pro video box monitor although everything else works fine. I noticed Pr Pro had an update so I did that update, no difference. I then uninstalled Pr Pro (although I kept preferences) and re-installed. Still have the black screen monitor. I have switched hardware acceleration off and on with no difference. I am now running Nvidia driver 376.33 from December. This driver installed just fine so I think I have a good driver install now, it seems to be a premiere pro issue. I guess I wouldn't know if sure unless I went back to an old version of Pr Pro which I am tempted to. This appears to have started when I updated an April driver as I mentioned in first post but now I cannot be sure. I am at a loss....I do need to get Premiere Pro working and not sure what to do. I have opened old projects that used to work, opened new ones and dropped in a clip, regardless, no video at all. I have resized the window, tried it on both of my monitors, no joy. Never had this problem before. I have researched this and it always seem to go back to a re-install or drivers. However I have a hard time believing NVIDIA driver from December through now had this issue. I could believe the newest one caused it, but not that the issue has been out there for four months... Now this may be a clue....and this never used to happen either! When I start premiere pro the first time after a reboot, it starts fine. However when I close it, if I start it again without rebooting it won't start. I can go in task manager and see "Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" still running in "Details", if I stop this process, it will run again. But what is up with that also? Do I have to go back to PPro 2015? (I think that was the last major version). That was working just great. Any help appreciated. Thanks, BJBBJB1
