This may sound like a repeat, however have you tried removing Lightroom Classic completely from your computer, that means cache, preferences, settings (which I would back up somewhere else before deleting)? You need to have a back up copy of your Lightroom Catalog somewhere else on another drive perhapds.  THen restarting the computer and then installing LRC ? If PS is working, it is possible there is a setting, cache, or pref that is blocking your smooth use of Lightroom Clasic. ... View more

Regarding the wacom, I would also suggest you uninstall the wacom driver, then download and install the latest Wacom driver for your tablet. An old or even corrupt driver can cause weird behavior.   ... View more

My suggestion would be to plug in both HDDs and store your photo files themselves there. I keep my LRc Catalog on my internal SSD on my mac, and when I quit LRc, I have it make a back up of the catalog and place the back up on my external HDD. Occasionally, I go thorugh and delete some older backup catalogs if all is working well.If all my HDD's are connected to my Main Mac, when I launch LRc, all the photo files are available to me and they appear under the DRIVE section and then in the FOlders of that drive depending how I organized them.   Just remember to use Lightroom as a main hub to move as well as edit your photos on disk. ... Ok so now please tell us your operating system, which version of CC, and any details that might help one of us help you sort this.  If you are subscribed to the CC, you really do not need Adobe to help you uninstall and reinstall remotely. You can easily do it yourself. One of the things I do when doing this on a Mac is to log out after uninstalling and turn the computer off. Then start the computer and download the Creative Cloud Installer, then download my software. So are you Mac or PC, and which OS?   ... View more

The reply was for anyone who needs it....  As for saving your preferences, yes you can save them. Go to Preferences > Presets and click Show All Other Lightroom Presets. That will open Finder / File Explorer and shwo you where the preference folders are.... I am on a Mac and I have always copied the preferences folders and saved them on my back up drives along with the back ups of my LRCatalog. IT is not an automated process. I just copy the folders over to the ext back up drives, and label the folder I put them in so I know what they are. That way, I can replace them if ever I need to! ... View more

First congrats on the new MAC!! Now I presume you downloaded and installed Lightroom CLassic on the new Mac? If so, look in the PICTURES folder and find your catalog (your catalog's name.lrcat) .   And it is easier to transfer (copy) your LR catalog and the associated .lrdata files to the mac first.   Second, where were the photo files themselves located when you were using the PC? Were these on the same drive or an external drive?  If they were on an external drive, you probably only need to connect the external drive, launch your catalog from the PICTURES folder, and probably follow the steps here to relink. https://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm   If the photo files themselves were on the PC and they did not move, you. may need to physically move them!   On a side note if you double click  the Photos Library.photoslibrary icon in the PICTURES folder, it just launches the PHOTOS application from Apple. ...
