Just tried on and iMac with 0SX 10.11.6 and 16GB ram. CC2015.8. 8 images were selected and all 8 opened in Photoshop and in the correct order.

Lightroom web galleries each have their entry page as index.html so you can not upload them to the same place. What I do is place each gallery in a subfolder of my main page and change the appropriate link in the main page. See my page at ajaxmtn.com for an example.

Unless you want to go to a specific web address or email address when the identity plate is clicked on you web page than leave it as index.html. This will just reload the page.

Your USB Thumb Drive is probably formatted for FAT32 which has a 4GB file size limit per file. Format it for the Windows NTFS format or whatever it is called now so it support file sizes larger than 4GB

Not having Point-to-Point transfer to/from the Tablet to/from the PC makes Lightroom Mobile almost useless for me and the OP for field use. For now I import directly from camera via usb to the iPad for first round selection in Photos App of keepers only and use Photosync on the iPad and iMac to transfer the files via WiFi. All devices are 802.11ac wireless so the transfer is EXTREMELY FAST. Maybe someday Lightroom Mobile will include PTP transfer.

This problem and another one related to RENAME are discussed here. Metatags in Filename Template Editor only insert at the end instead of at cursor. See my post #5 with a link to a post like yours. Rikk Flohr said he couldn't reproduce this problem In post #6 so you may want to post directly to him in the above linked thread as he seems to be able to get things done and has been very helpful.

Try importing directly from the camera using Lightroom or the Canon software. If import works than the USB jack is OK. Tether seems randomly problematic in LR from what I have seen on the forum although its worked ok for me the FEW times I have used it.

Supposedly switching to Library before doing the DELETE avoids the problem. Adobe is aware of the problem so maybe there will be a fix.

ASAP is not going to happen. The next update for Lr 2015.8 or maybe 2017 will probably be a couple months away. Akash's suggested workaround is your best bet for awhile. BTW, I agree that Adobe should be spending a lot more time with Quality Control/Bug Fixing

With a quality setting of 2 under File Settings I am surprised it looks as good as it does. Set it at 85 or so.

It works fine on El Capitan so must be a Sierra issue. Adobe should fix it but Apple OS is getting buggier also and Apple seems to break things in every new release.

Thanks Rikk, Will you submit a bug report to Adobe or should I post to the the Adobe Feedback Forum as suggested by John? I would prefer if you would just submit it as you are on the "inside track" I was using El Capitan instead of Sierra so it must be an Apple problem in general. In the Filename Template Editor you can place your cursor anywhere is the edit dialog. Text typed at the cursor will be placed where the cursor is at. The problem is if you pick one of the metatags and hit INSERT the metatag IS NOT placed at the cursor but at the end. This makes editing the template very difficult as you essentially have to redo the whole template from scratch. This happens in both import and in the rename in library. This is a changed behavior in 2015.8. Using OS X 10.11.6

I think this is a BUG. It seems like any custom edit or preset with a date in is gets messed up. Any DATE value does not show up. Does not work in IMPORT Rename But is does work in RENAME in Library

They should show up in 2015.7 (you should update to 2015.8). The reason I asked is I think??? this feature was added to the book module in one of the versions. I may be wrong. Could you post a screenshot of your film strip similar to the one wobertc posted? There are reports of a glitch where the top of the thumbnails disappear which would hide the page count icon. See here Lightroom filmstrip images are too big
