Brilliant Frans. Thanks so much for the link and info...and for clarifying that the script will help with the issue I'm facing. I suppose the next step from me is to flag this as a big or feature request. Thanks again 👍🏻

Can you explain what the difference is then please, I've never heard the term Accessible PDF up until now. I mean, how would one export an accessible PDF from InDesign? If this isn't the standard in exporting for print or interactive PDF and is a 'new' type of export, then the script you've link to unfortunately has no relevance and shouldn't be marked as a correct answer? Cheers 🙂

It's a problem for PDF in general. I would have assumed all PDF files are accessible no?

Cheers Eugene. Yeah the fit width (zoom percentage) would change depending on the users screen, but would keep the PDF set to fill the width, which is what I want. I'm not aware of any setting that would change the zoom setting on clicking a link, I would assume that the zoom level would remain the same when clicking a link. Me neither. I've looked everywhere when setting up the links, the TOC styles and options, the PDF export and don't see anything.

Don't ever recall this being an issue in the past, but today I'm getting this bizarre issue. I've created my doc (in Adobe InDesign 2025) and exported it as an interactive PDF. In the Export view settings, its set to 'Fit Width'. When the PDF file is initially loaded, this zoom level (zoom level is 190%) is honoured. When I click on any of the Table of Contents links the PDF navigates to the correct page but the zoom level reverts to what i assume is either 'fit page' or 'fit height' (zoom level changes to 80%) and ignores the 'Fit Width' setting from the InDesign Export panel. Can't see any other options anywhere, but it has been a while since I set up a TOC, so could be overlooking something very obvious! Any suggestions or thoughts would be very much appreciated

Doesn't appear so Kris. Seems we have to pay them for the privilege of being their quality control and testers 😕

Can replicate this issue too. Not sure if its related but the transform behavior seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes shift is required to contrain proportions, other times not. Today seems to be a day where I need to hold down shift to contrain the proportions of anything I scale.

hi @Vijay Singh Negi Thanks for the reply. Here is the info (if you need more, please do let me know) System configuration: Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.5011) AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor 3.80 GHz RAM 64.0 GB 64 Bit The issue is apparent on all formats, but particularly noticable on raster images (jpeg, png, psd files that contain fine details such as illustrations or text). It previews them very similarly to how vector formats get previewed. I've attached a screenshot as an example. Yes, the issue has only been apparent since the latest update to version Bridge 2025 (15.0.0.397). This issue has not been experienced on any previous version of Bridge. I will send a few of the files in the screenshot to the address you mentioned. Many thanks, Rian

Anyone else having issues with the previews in Bridge 2025 (15.0.0.397) being extremely low quality? Just updated and the quality of the previews are horrible; very pixelated. Maybe I'm missing some setting somewhere but attached are the current settings, which I believe I've been using in all previous versions. (Running Windows 10 by the way) Any ideas?

@thestewartofny I had this issue in the previous version of Bridge and I had to close it and restart each and everytime I wanted to use the Photoshop image processor from Bridge. Just updated to 2025 on both here and they are working fine together. Seemed to be a scripts issue with the previous version. Im running windows 10. Sorry I can't be of more help, but all I can suggest is maybe doing a clean reinstall of both Photosohp and Bridge 😕

Since the latest update I'm having an issue with importing images to after effects. Previously I could import jpegs, tiffs, .psd whatever I needed without issue. Now I no longer get the option to import it as anything other than 'footage'. Import as sequence is unchecked, but makes no difference. Is there something Im missing here? Or anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Cheers R

Seems like this has raised it head again in the latest update...at least it has for me. Not just when partially seletcing text (specific words or letter) but even with the entire line or paragraph selected the swatches and colour picker do not apply colour.

That's awesome, cheers for the link Jeff. It would seem my initial thought that the type of intersecting path i was creating was the issue...in a sense its not a singular closed path when the circle is cut from it; that the shape needs to be treated almost like creating an old-school stencil. I'll have an experiment with this later. Fingers crossed and thanks all for the insight and time. Much appreciated!

So, this is something I've done loads in the past, but for whatever reason I can't get it working (Photoshop 25.4) Perhaps its the shape of the path/shape I'm using here?....but if anyone can shed a little light on it, i'd be all ears. Bewildered as to why I can't get this working. Here's a quick run down of the process I've always used for this: I've created the path i need (first drawing the rectangle, then the circle and making sure 'exclude overlapping shapes is selected). Select the type tool and click inside the path....job done....not this time however 😕 Path text 'inside' the path'

Couldn't agree more. Adobe Stock is filled with AI generated images now. As you rightly point out, not all of them are tagged, so using the filter has only a limited effect. Genuinely don't think Adobe shold be supporting or showing AI generated art in any form at all.

Seeing the same issue on some pdf files I've created too. Links are all working fine but some show a red dot. Not sure it helps you but I noticed one of mine was to a automatic download so had the suffix '=1' at the end of the URL. If i change that to '=0' (disabling the automatic download the dot goes green). I however need to keep it as an instant/automatic download...looks like I just have to put up with an, as yet, inexplicable red dot

Yeah, same issue for me. Running on PC. Tried Chrome, Firefox and the dreaded Edge browser. All of which giving the same issue. I'm not getting any errors, just unable to download any purchased assets. Clicking on 'Re-download For Free' just sends the little download icon into a spinning circle and nothing. No files actually getting downloaded.

Haha love it. Believe me dude I know I don't ever need your permission to do anything. Although if I ever take up a position where I need to act like a spoiled child and treat other people with unparalleled levels of arrogance I'll be sure to ask you for advice as, you bud, are Yoda at that stuff! It's impressive haha The CWOBaT has been giving your replies the time of day, but I've found it quite humourous so thank you 😄 Maybe this is farewell this time, or maybe I'll just wait and see what toxic reply you send and smile silently as I read it. So whatever, whichever, whenever man, it's been fun 😄

Nor did I. Listen man, I hope you didn't take offence to anything I said, not the intention, just a little frustrated that you didn't seem to pick up on my replies (easily done) stating I have filed bug reports and read release notes, before making the assumptions, again, that I didn't. I can totally get your point about people coming on here and giving out about things without having obviously read up on the changelog, I've seen it plenty myself and I'm sure it gets mighty frustrating.

@c.pfaffenbichler That post absolutely was somewhat personal, definitely not intended to be offensive or insulting mind, at least no more so than the posts I'm referring to....apologies if it was. But if you look back at some of the previous posts I've referred to, there's very much a personal slant as opposed to trying to be respectful and productively being part of a conversation. This has all gone a little bit 'handbags' though don't you think. Its too easy to read tone of voice all wrong in forums sometimes, which is always the thing I enjoyed least about them 🙂

Dude, honestly, what's with the attitude. It feels like you have an insecurity issue that you need to project on any and everyone that posts. Nothing to offer but feeding your own ego and sending the same uneducated and arrogant response....you assume you know how other use the software, what others do before commenting here. None of our comments here are personal, yet you seem to take them that way, trying to 'prove your point' without actually listening or accepting some people may just have a differing point of view...you know what, that's allowed. Its healthy, its what a forum and a community is all about. No just this closed wall approach of 'I think they did or didn't do this, so I'll tell them how wrong they are, even thogh I know nothing of their experience or expertise. Im always right.' Take the time to read the comments left before leaving the same unhelpful drivel. Farewell this time? I certainly hope so....but im not optimistic

@mj Absolutely my friend. There is beta apps, but when you look through the forums there are so many things that customers have given feedback about that never get addressed. I mean the software isn't ours, but design for what your customers need, not what you think they might want right? You're totally right though, there's always going to be things that some people like and others dont.

@TheDigitalDog Thanks for yet another very useful and productive comment assuming everyone that has an issue, is lazy or completely new to using the software. Exceptionally helpful. You'd think I was insulting your child, you seem to take this very personally for some reason. You've just highlighted the exact isue I was explaining. 'Adobe provided NEW functionality while providing OLD functionality to those who wish to use that old workflow.' If something works, there's little need for a new workflow. Obviously when a new feature comes in that's absolutely going to be the case and I'm all on for that. Don't think for one second I'm agains updates, if software can be improved, I'm game. There is little need for so many updates in a year, especially when they do cause issues for so many....its inevitable there are bugs in each update and that's just part and parcel of software development. Nope, wrong; tested (not by you, but some of us here). Well, nope, wrong, as someone that's been using Adobe software since back in 1996 those workdflows are tried and tested by me, industry experience as a professional designer and studio owner. Also aren't you making the assumption I'm not using and contributing to the beta software releases too? and this....No one forced anyone to update the software. Bud, that's such an immature comment to make. And to quote you again 'Nope, wrong'. Adobe do force users to update the software, if you don't using imageery previews form Adobe Stock doesn't work, extensions and utilities in updated versions of bridge don't work. The suite is all interlinked and updating one piece of software from the suite does require (9 times out of 10) updating the rest to minimise compatability issues. Anyway, I think I'm absolutely done with this conversation, as its not going to go anywhere other than a reply assuming I'm taking a personal swipe at you (which Im absolutely not) and trying to prove that I'm wrong, haven't bothered to read release notes and shouldn't have any kind of freedom of expression as a paying customer about any issues or grievances I might have haha I bid you a fond farewell.

I totally get you and I'm not arguing with you. Although I do have to point out Affinity's export process isn't slow at all, just click export, select jpeg and its done. (Well, like photoshop you have to select the quality you want to save in, along with the desired file path).

@D Fosse Yea I know that wasn't in their control I was just highlighting it as one of the things that frustrated users (im sure Adobe too). But isn't that kind of the point...if Adobe new it was a hack, wouldn't it have been prudent to work on a permanent 'fix' or method....I mean I know there's a lot more to it, especially when it involves coding language and frameworks from another company, but its obviously been possible....or Adobe are still hacking it as the function still remains.
