Thanks! will make adjustments accordingly. That's precisely why I was asking, to know if it was not the proper way to use the feature. cheers

Thank you for your response! Seems like the menus were always white on windows. Could swear they were different. They suddenly became very noticeable. Thanks for your time!

Hello all! I'm working on a long-form, 25-minute video and would like the opinion of the community experts on the best way to send everything to After Effects. For context, here is a quick glimpse of my workflow: 1.- I set everything up for the video like the host talking to the camera, images, and a lot of Broll. 2.- Then after all the footage, especially the broll, is approved, I move to the next stage which is animations. 3.- After that I render a lossless .mov to have everything back to premiere for the final stage: SFX. I need to move everything on Ae: every broll piece, placeholder, and such because I add text animators, video infographics, and such to almost every clip. I even add transitions there because I'm already doing animations. I'm curious about the Adobe recommended way to do it: -Should I just select everything and shoot it right to Ae without thinking too much about it? (actually, this fails, it prompts a generic importer error message) -Should I divide the video in, for example, thirds? Three dynamic link comps? (this is my current method) -Should I have one dynamic link per animation piece? (this worries me because of the time it would take me to do that pre-SFX render) Here are two images: the first one with the whole timeline and its assets and the second one with a closeup showing the variety of elements I need to move in case it helps.    Thank you for your time, cheers.

Edit: Sorry for the first message structure, it came out rude in my opinion. On v 25.1 I (think) I suddenly have white menus. It seems eye soaring because of the contrast and I can't seem to be able to change it. Was it always this way? Made sure I have dark theme on Windows 11 and also on Premiere. but the menu stayed white. Not sure if it was always this way. It suddenly became very notorious. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your answer, Johan! I will totally do that. I suspected it had to do with either Log or something messed up in LR. One more question: it is strange, but I think I still have something on LR that adds a lot of contrast to my pictures automatically. I can still kind of recover them on Ps because this program does not add contrast when importing. is this an import setting that may be going wrong? or is it totally because of the log profile? I've attached a quick video here:

Hi! I'm trying to import RAW photos to LR Classic. All looks good on the import window, pictures look desaturated as they should with the RAW + log color profile. But when I move to Develop, the photos get automatically modified, they get darker and with a lot of contrast; I'm not able to recover a lot of them actually. I use a Sony a6400. I use it primarily for video but also get stills from time to time for my clients. Files are RAW and I use the same config I use for video: S-Log2 S-Gamut 2. Here is an example of the RAW file vs. how it gets modified aggressively by Lightroom. Does anybody know how to fix this? I would like to work on the pictures from scratch myself instead of having Lightroom do any unsolicited modifications first. RAW file, all good:   Modified on Develop: I do have the import preset settings as Default Thank you for your time

Thank you, I've been monitoring my system load. Premiere gets laggy when I have several graphics on my timeline. I thought throwing it 128Gb of RAM would solve the problem, lol. I will continue to do this before I make any decision on changing hardware. Cheers! thanks for your time.

Hi, everyone! I've had this issue for a long time, I'm posting here in the hope of finding feedback from the community. I have a computer with decent characteristics and still Premiere Pro constantly has laggy playback even with only a 1080x1920 video. Now, I know this is not about having good hardware, but software, drivers, and codecs need to be considered. In this example, I'm trying to make some cuts on a video with the following properties: Image Size: 1920 x 1080 Frame Rate: 50.00 Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - Compressed - Stereo Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32-bit floating point - Stereo Total Duration: 00:17:23:08 Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0 Alpha: None Color Space: Rec. 709 Color Space Override: Off Input LUT: None Video Codec Type: MP4/MOV H.264 4:2:0 I'm just doing some cuts but still, you can see how laggy the playback is. I have GPU acceleration activated, set the memory to 16 GB for other applications, and turned off high-quality playback on the program monitor. You can see how it performs here: Here are my system specs. Everything is up to date. For Premiere Pro, I'm normally a version or two behind to avoid unexpected bugs. Right now I have version 23.3.0 Any tips for fixing this performance issue? Thank you for reading.

While editing, doing several play/pauses, the playback won't stop. I hit play, and then cannot stop it. Keyboard no longer gets any result from any keys in Premiere. Mouse moves fine, but nothing responds to clicks. I can only regain control only when the video ends. When it stops it does whatever key clicks and keys I entered. It will save, or open panels, or make markers, whatever keys I had pressed. -I don't have time remmaped clips -Everything is the same framerate and quality. Changed aspect ratio tho. -Locked/unlock audio layers -Deleted all caches -Used only one display -reset to saved layouts or used default ones -reinstalled Nothing seems to work. Already read through this article and nothing helps: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/timeline-wont-stop-playing/td-p/9054952/page/2 AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 128 GB ram Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 super Win 10 Separate storage for cache and scratch, media and software.
