Quick question for you Multi Camera experts out there. Is there a way to change the view so the 4 cameras are stacked with two cameras in each row instead of three cameras in one row and a fourth camera in a new row? I am posting an example in case I am not doing a good job of describing this,

Thank you, I am creating the proxies first and will use that workflow. On the second question I have the watermark turned on and it appears all is good when I toggle between proxies and not using them. I just saw many videos where the toggle button was blue when active (see attached)mine is just grey like normal and a line though the icon when off. Was just curious if this changed or something?

just a quick question as I am new to Using proxies in my workflow. Doing a 4 camera edit with 4k footage (UHD) and was curious if I need to do the Multicam sync before creating the proxies or after? Possibly makes no difference but curious if there is a correct workflow? I also see that sometimes in YouTube videos I see the proxies toggle button is blue when on? My tests do not have this so wondering if that has to enabled or I am doing something wrong when I did my test project? thanks in advance

Try renaming the folder that the media is in. Also, delete the Media Cache and Media Cache Files. I have this problem (with audio) every time I update and this has solved the issue.....this trick may also work to solve it for video also?

I want to use and play with the new version that came out today but am not willing to update over the current version i am using (12.0) I know in the past I could always choose to install the newest version without "updating" over the current version but now I dont see an option for this? I never trust the new version until it has been out a bit and I have eased into it with less critical projects (new versions are always a bit buggy at first) Hopefully I am just missing something obvious? Please advise if I can install the newest version without losing my current (and working fine) version.. Thanks

Hoping a different heading will help get some answers? I want the new PPro 2017.1 to work so bad but I am again let down. I am hoping some experts here may know the answers. I have been using PPro since before CS1 so I have seen many updates and am always cautious when upgrading to not do during any project and never delete the stable previous version. I am still using 2015.4 and have been happy with it as it is rock solid for me. I had problems with the first release of 2017 (same problem I am about to describe) and was hoping for a better result with the 2017.1 For starters, this is a brand new project so no old baggage. The project footage is from a Canon camcorder HF G20 So I load my footage in and do a multi camera edit with 2 angles and all goes smooth as butter. Decide to take care of some other business before I render out the final file so I save and shut down PPro. Come back two hours later and have lost the footage. Red Media placeholder! go to "find" the footage and it opens up right to the folder the footage is in (and still in) and i click it to link it and get the following error message The selected file does not contain audio media used by clip references in one or more sequences. These audio clip references will be deleted and cannot be undone. Do you want to continue? I also cant bring in that type of clip anymore with an audio track, only the video comes in. I am not having this issue with any of my Sony cameras? I had the same issues with the previous release. Yes I have cleared the media cache. I am a bit stumped as I want to use the new version but am having trouble trusting it with anything at the moment.

Didn't this happen when you first upgraded to CC 2015 also? mine did this exact same thing the last 2 times they have published a new version. just saying that this is a common issue now when upgrading. I for one am not touching it until my projects are all caught up but there has always been an option to keep the previous version also so I always do that so I have the stable version and can mess with the new version for awhile until I can trust it.

Any answer to this yet? I also have clicked yes to install the codec yet nothing actually changed??? still have a bunch of files on my computer that will not import the audio with the video? there should be a way to manually install this codec?

I have to say that I have yet to see a post from Harm that builds someone up? What is your capacity here? to tear down every post you read and offer up a superior attitude to show the common folk how much higher and mighter you are? Maybe I am off base here and alot of you guys here respect this guy but I just gotta say you sure do come off sounded like a grouchy old man in every dang post I read of yours...What gives?
