It seems when Uservoice was converted over to the forums, it moved my account over instead of merging it with my existing account? Is there any way for me to even log into this other account rather than the one I'm currently on? I keep getting notifications for it but can't do anything with the account itself...

i doubt it, but maybe adobe support could delete that recent one. i could mark one of those messages as spam and get that account banned, but i'd be afraid it might affect the account you want to maintain. better contact adobe support. there are 3 ways to contact adobe; chat, phone and twitter:
chat:
use a browser that allows popups and cookies
and click here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human.
phone:

twitter:
tweet @AdobeCare
p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Thank you for the resources! I'll try to use those links to get ahold of Adobe when I get some extra time later today.
Part of my problem is I don't really want the newer account deleted as all of my comments from uservoice got added to the new threads via that account, and I'd like those to stay in tact rather than disappear (unless deleting an account doesn't remove the comments...)

deleting an account removes the posts. you actually want the newer account merged with the one you can log-into, but i don't think that's possible. adobe support is place to ask.

Does this belong in the Using the Community forum?

It does. I'll move it! Thanks, Bob!
@Serena... unfortunately we cannot merge community accounts together. It's not a capability this software has. But we can delete your account if you can log in it and send me a PM from there.

the issue is an account issue, and i don't think the op can sign into that problematic account.

The funny thing is I had this in the 'using the community' form first but it got moved for some reason? XD
I really don't want the account deleted, but even if I did, I cannot log into it to send you a PM because it's on the same email address/Adobe ID as this account, and when I log in it just logs me into this one.
Did everyone's account get handled like this? Or is it just me that had this messup happen to them? Because if this was how it was handled with everyone's uservoice accounts, this feels like a major oversight...

i moved it because it's an account problem, not a uservoice issue (even if the problem was caused by something related to uservoice).

@Serena... I had a chat with our community team here. All accounts from UserVoice got merged if the user had an already existing profile here. The system would look at the email address to do or not merge. If they match, merge, if not, no merge.
Your case is different and a rare one at that because you have 2 separate Adobe IDs. Do you have personal and enterprise by any chance? Or do you have 2 personal Adobe IDs?
Send me a PM and let's get this sorted if we can!

Looks like one profile was moved to Premier Pro Ideas and the other to Photoshop. Perhaps because they came from separate UserVoice boards.

I think this is due to your account being deleted. You need to sign back into the forum and then re-enable the account. If you still have access to the old forum, you can try looking for a link to the old forum in your inbox. If you don't, you may want to contact support and ask them to merge the accounts for you.
