Now my question is Will GeForce RTX 4060 Graphics Card work on Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 (version 12 or later) ? I don't have much knowledge about Graphics Card for Premiere Pro CC. I’m receiving - adobe media encoder your system's hardware does not support hardware acceleration for the current settings. I’m attempting to use media encoder 26.3.1. My project is in Premiere 26.3.0. The project file is local and the files are on an EVO NAS.My desktop setup is as follows: Intel Xeon W-2265 @ 3.5GHz, NVIDIA RTX A5000 24GB, 128GB RAM, 1TB m.2 OS Drive Windows 11 Enterprise, 500GB m.2 cache SSD.

I'm running Premiere Pro with an NVIDIA RTX 4070, CUDA is enabled, and GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is selected in Project Settings.The problem is that during H.264 exports, GPU usage stays around 5–10% while CPU usage jumps to 90–100%. Export times are much longer than I expected for this hardware.Things I've already checked:Latest NVIDIA Studio Driver installed Hardware Encoding enabled when available Media cache cleared GPU Acceleration (CUDA) confirmed Windows power mode set to High PerformanceHas anyone experienced this? Is Premiere supposed to rely this heavily on the CPU for certain exports, or is there another setting I might be missing?

I have a higher-end PC that guzzles power under load, and am now finding that the owners of the property are panicking about it. And since it’s turning out to expand over a long session, I am now starting to panic by trying to cut myself off of modern computing. I wasted all this money trying to keep up with Premiere’s demands, and now it’s come back to bite me. What to do in this situation?

HelloI have a Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB of RAM and an RTX3060 with 12GB. When using motion tracking in After Effects, the whole process seems rather slow. (In tutorial videos I see online it’s always a lot faster.)So I was asking myself if my hardware is sufficient.However if I look at the Task Manager while After Effects is working, I see a CPU utilization of only 7-10%, GPU utilization somewhere between 0 and 30%, almost no load on the storage device and a RAM utilization that starts low but eventually reaches 32GB (but only after maybe 15 mins of tracking) - but once it reached 32GB it doesn’t appear to slow down After Effects.So my question is: Given that my current hardware doesn’t seem to be utilized very much while After Effects is “Tracking” - does it really make sense to upgrade the hardware or would I only end up having hardware that is even less utilized?Thank you!

I’m getting about 20-30 crashes a day. When I work with Adobe After Effects, it’s during a 2D explainer video, no crazy plugins except for deepglow, parallaxer etc… and even when booting and disabling those, no luck. No luck with disabling/enabling multiprocessing. Cache set to second m2 drive at 500GB. Empty.When I work with Premiere it’s from pretty large video files, up to 22gb 4k 50p videos. Premiere is actually super smooth, timeline is set to 1080p and quality ½. But sometimes, it still crashes.The crashes are either:Frozen program, then closes. Very rarely, a bsod error, always differentPerhaps I can share crash logs? Hi everyone,I have been editing a bunch of gameplay footage captured from PlayStation 2 emulators, and when I import clips into Premiere Pro they sometimes stutter or show frame drops,  especially on longer timelines with effects applied. My current setup seems fine for regular video editing, but these clips behave differently than typical camera footage.Has anyone experienced similar issues editing emulator-captured gameplay? Could this be a hardware limitation (GPU/encoding), a codec setting issue, or something within Premiere Pro? I’d appreciate suggestions on what hardware upgrades or settings could help smooth playback and improve performance while editing high-action footage like this.Thanks in advance!

Hi,we recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad T16 for work, but we’re experiencing very poor performance when using Adobe software.We’ve already followed the troubleshooting steps suggested by support, without any noticeable improvement.We’ve been advised to consider adding an external GPU. Before moving forward, we’d like to understand whether this would realistically lead to a significant performance boost. Given the cost and reduced portability, we want to avoid investing in a solution with uncertain results.Based on your experience, is an external GPU a reliable solution in this case, or would it be better to consider replacing the device altogether? I am finally getting to upgrade to a laptop that would work better with Premiere and Photoshop -possibly After Effects. My IT dept. hasn’t been much help other than look at Lenovo. I just got an email for what I think is a deal - $2,058 for the Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 Intel (16") with RTX™ 5080 - Ultra 9 275HX Processor, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080, GPU 16GB GDDR7, Memoriy: 32 GB DDR5-6400MT/s (CSODIMM)(2 x 16 GB), Storage: 1 TB SSD.  I could really use feedback on the use of this laptop - or other recommendations. Finally, the day of reckoning for one of my two current desktop systems has arrived. Since my mini-ITX Intel i7-7700 system is hardly being used any more, I will be retiring it completely, and possibly donating it to somebody who needs a fairly recent PC. This came because I have no room whatsoever to put a second monitor on any of the desks in the house. My brother's desk already has a monitor, but he still has a 4th-Generation i7-4770 CPU that's in his Dell system that was purchased back in 2014 though the GPU that's currently in that system is a GeForce GTX 750 Ti that I gave him a few years ago (upgraded from a GT 635 1 TB card that was originally in that system). So, my current plan is to give him the GTX 1650 SUPER that is currently in the mini-ITX box (and thus give that first-generation Maxwell 750 Ti card a well-deserved retirement, into the spare parts bin). Alright, so I’m running into something weird with my setup, and I’m trying to figure out if there’s more to the story. I’m on a Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 3070 + 16GB 3600MHz, and overall the rig should be cruising through 1080p and even 1440p without drama. I started getting random FPS dips and micro-stutters in games like Warzone, Apex, and Cyberpunk. GPU usage stays lower than expected while the CPU spikes like crazy in certain moments. So I ran everything through a bottleneck calculator and it actually gave me a pretty solid idea of what might be going on — looks like the CPU is getting pushed hard in certain scenarios, especially when I’m aiming for higher FPS. But here’s my question to anyone who’s been through this:If the bottleneck calculator points toward a CPU limit, what ELSE could still be causing these drops? Could it be RAM saturation? Background processes? Game engine issues? Maybe even something dumb like Windows scheduling or my SSD acting slow? If anyone’s had a similar

Workflow details: I work with multi-camera 4k LOG .MOV footage (Lumix S5II cameras). If I need to de-noise high ISO footage, I render my FHD composition in Pro-Res format first, then clean up the noise from that lower resolution source, outputting MP4 for my clients.I've browsed Google and Youtube but found so many conflicting reviews, speaking in terminology that means nothing to me. I'm not a hardware expert.

Hi, I am looking to buy a Macbook Pro 14 inch M4 Max.I only do video editing on Premiere Pro and edit 1080p, 4k, and 8k video from a Canon R5 and Sony FX30. Do I really need to get the M4 Max? Will the M4 Pro do? Should I get 128gb of memory or is 36gb of unified memory enough. I have the budget to get the highest spec macbook pro, but I have some friends telling me I can do the same with the base model M4 pro chip Macbook Pro.  Your knowledge on this would help me to decide which one to get. I'm also look for best export times. Thank you

My editing workstation has slowed to a crawl with the latest release(s) which has triggered some hard thinking about how to move forward.  I just do volunteer shooting/editing so $2500 for new hardware plus my (I am guessing $800?/yr) Adobe fee, I am not sure at the ripe old age of 71 this is how I want to spend my money. I was looking for a cheap upgrade so I decided to try a MSI Refurbed gaming box from Woot.  32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 4060, Ryzen 7700 processor.  It was less than 1/2 what I would pay for an HP Workstation machine.   What am I missing?   Aside for a somewhat cheesy build quality is there a downside to going with one of these "gaming machines?"

Hi, I already have a fully functioning setup for video editing but was thinking to buy a smaller laptop for day to day use which could possibly do minor edits on the go. A friend recommended me a laptop with i5 11th gen with integrated intel iris Xe, 8gb ram.
