Finally, the day of reckoning for one of my two current desktop systems has arrived. Since my mini-ITX Intel i7-7700 system is hardly being used any more, I will be retiring it completely, and possibly donating it to somebody who needs a fairly recent PC. This came because I have no room whatsoever to put a second monitor on any of the desks in the house. My brother's desk already has a monitor, but he still has a 4th-Generation i7-4770 CPU that's in his Dell system that was purchased back in 2014 though the GPU that's currently in that system is a GeForce GTX 750 Ti that I gave him a few years ago (upgraded from a GT 635 1 TB card that was originally in that system). So, my current plan is to give him the GTX 1650 SUPER that is currently in the mini-ITX box (and thus give that first-generation Maxwell 750 Ti card a well-deserved retirement, into the spare parts bin). Hey guys,  My system is: Ryzen 9 5900XTRX 7900XTX 24GB VRAM32GB RAM 3600B550PLUS Should I upgrade the memories? I edit 8bits 4k video of ZVE10, but want to keep the system and edit FX30 files in the future. Should I upgrade to: 64gb ram 3200 (gonna cost me 93 dollars, in Brazil, already discounting the market value for my ram) 128gb ram 3200 (576 dollars, already discounting my old ram selling price).Should I upgrade? 

Workflow details: I work with multi-camera 4k LOG .MOV footage (Lumix S5II cameras). If I need to de-noise high ISO footage, I render my FHD composition in Pro-Res format first, then clean up the noise from that lower resolution source, outputting MP4 for my clients.I've browsed Google and Youtube but found so many conflicting reviews, speaking in terminology that means nothing to me. I'm not a hardware expert.

Hi, I am looking to buy a Macbook Pro 14 inch M4 Max.I only do video editing on Premiere Pro and edit 1080p, 4k, and 8k video from a Canon R5 and Sony FX30. Do I really need to get the M4 Max? Will the M4 Pro do? Should I get 128gb of memory or is 36gb of unified memory enough. I have the budget to get the highest spec macbook pro, but I have some friends telling me I can do the same with the base model M4 pro chip Macbook Pro.  Your knowledge on this would help me to decide which one to get. I'm also look for best export times. Thank you

My editing workstation has slowed to a crawl with the latest release(s) which has triggered some hard thinking about how to move forward.  I just do volunteer shooting/editing so $2500 for new hardware plus my (I am guessing $800?/yr) Adobe fee, I am not sure at the ripe old age of 71 this is how I want to spend my money. I was looking for a cheap upgrade so I decided to try a MSI Refurbed gaming box from Woot.  32GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 4060, Ryzen 7700 processor.  It was less than 1/2 what I would pay for an HP Workstation machine.   What am I missing?   Aside for a somewhat cheesy build quality is there a downside to going with one of these "gaming machines?"

Hi everyone!I have a question. I have been dissatisfied with my RTX 3060 12GB for the past few months (I had the same experience using Premiere with the GTX 1660). I am also not happy with my NVIDIA graphics card in other scenarios. Therefore, I am considering building my next PC not only with an AMD CPU, but also with an AMD GPU. I am thinking about a setup with a Ryzen 5 7600X or Ryzen 7 7700X, 64GB of RAM and an RX 7600XT.For those of you who have experience with AMD GPUs in Premiere, could you please tell me how well they perform? Hey there. I currently use After Effects to edit videos. Most of the clips are 4k but I downscale them to 1080p but stilll without any effects just the clip imported to a 1080p composition and resolution set to 1/4 i get very laggy previews. I have to encode those to prores and then i can preview smoothly at 1/4 resolution but 1-2 effects make it laggy again. Im currently using a igpu. Hi Guys, I want to add a Nvidia 3060 12gb version to my system to get better timeline performance and when twiddling with effects and color grading. Final render speeds for me take a back seat. I can wait. What i want is more responsiveness on the UI for color grading. For example when i change workspaces theres a 7 to 8 secs pause the the screens white out. The material weighs approximately 5TB, so I would like to ask for recommendations for external hard drives that meet the following requirements: -Large capacity (8TB or more). -Good read/write speeds. -Reasonable price. I know that SSDs offer the best performance for editing, but I understand that external SSDs with capacities greater than 4 TB are scarce or very expensive. Hello,I just bought a second hand GPU intel arc B580 as an upgrade to my GTX 1060 card to help me with 4K video editing of 10 bit 422 h265 footage that my camera shoots.The card passed all the standard stress tests in furmark and OCCT just fine.But when I try to edit any 4K footage or project that I worked on in the past, there are artifacts throughout my playback window as seen on the video at 0:20 and further.Any idea what might causing that?The GPU is also very underwhelming in terms of performance, but I have no comparison since till now all the "heavy lifting" was done by my CPU, and it was handling the playback smoothly. I post regularly on the After Effects forums where I do my best to help others.  And I frequently see requests on reddit and youtube for advice about picking between two computers. Hi,fessing up that I am clueless when it comes to computers and what is needed for video editing (the last time i edited anything was 24 odd years ago on a i mac).  I have been asked by some clients to make some tuitional videos and I haven't a clue what specs I need when it comes to a PC.  My current PC is about 10 years old and wont handle Premier Pro (which I have as part of my Adobe Package).I have been to my local independent shop who quoted £2500 to build me one (my financier and wife) says for that price it had better be able to travel in space and time.I then checked with my local PCworld Curries and have these specs.  And I have absolutley no idea as to whether they are good enough to edit video or not.  My video will be either shot on a Canon R7 and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 both using 4K Any help would be greatly appreciated.  My budget is approx £1000 Specs: - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060- 8 GB GDDR6RAM- 16 GB DDR4 (3600 MHz)- 128 GB maximum ins

I have over 100 episodes of 20-minute 1080p .mxf footage and plan to use a media intelligence search tool. My current 2017 iMac (i5, 32GB RAM) struggles even with just 30 short MP4 clips (30 seconds to 2 minutes) when using the tool — it constantly shows a “memory running out” warning. What specs would you recommend for smooth, AI-assisted processing of large .mxf files? I’m considering a MacBook Pro M4 Max with 128GB of RAM, but I’m not sure if that’s sufficient.

I tried downloading Adobe InDesign CC app on my MacBook Air and found out it's too old to run InDesign. My laptop is on MacOS Big Sur and can't be updated to a later operating system anymore. (Doesn't really have enough memory anyway and it's an old computer). I'm on a very tight budget but need to be able to run InDesign mostly for documents, layouts, etc. Will a refurbished 2019 MacBook Pro work? It doesn't have the latest M series core processors, but does have retina display, 16GB memory, 512GB storage, 4GB video card and i9 processor.  I don't want something that won't work in a year, but I'm happy if I can get 3 years of good use out of a refurbished model. Adobe Premiere Pro 24.5.2. Windows 11 23H2 (Version 10.0.22631.3880)3. Creative Cloud öffnen, dort PP öffnen und sofort taucht das Problem auf4. Normales Starten der PP-Anwendung Genaue Beschreibung:Die Dame (Mitarbeiterin) und ich haben beide das Notebook: DELL Precision 5570.Spezifikationen: I7-12800H + Intel Iris Xe GPU, 32GB-DDR5-4800, 512GB-NVME-M.2 und als dedizierte GPU RTX A1000 4GB.Ich habe Adobe CC nach ihrer Bekanntmachung des Problems auch mal bei mir installiert, testweise lizensiert und dort mal Premiere Pro 24.5 installiert.Bei mir funktioniert es tadellos, ich kann alles Problemlos anklicken und rendern.Bei ihr startet nicht mal die Anwendung, man bek
