Hello all-I am excited that Adobe has added the start of Node-based project management with the new 2017 Team Project feature. So my question is..Is there a video or tutorial with "Best Practice" setup for this type of edit?We have 3 new Apple Cylinder editing workstations on a 10 GB/s SAN network, with 500/Mbps tested off of the server, which is SSD. We are editing 22 minute episodes of 2K footage in rendered TIF sequences. We have seen a LOT of curious behavior when working on 2015.3 in the same scenario, and have yet to be able to determine what the best practice is for performance in this scenario. For instance,-Where do we set the cache? Right now we are setting it locally on each machine to a dedicated thunderbolt SSD. The thinking being that we don't want to use any network bandwidth to edit the TIF sequences, which are quite large, around 128 GB per 11 minutes. If we put the projects on the server, will it automatically detect a team edit? Can you make a tea
Hi, I setup my first Team Project today. All seemed to be good with my remote editor. We are using Dropbox to upload and sync proxy files. All seemed to be good. However, when I click to Get the Latest Changes I get an error message "There was an error syncing the Team Project" with an OK command. The Get Latest Changes arrow is greyed out now and I still don't have the latest changes. It only becomes available again when he posts another change update. However, when I click Get Latest Changes it still won't sync and I get the error again. I've tried restarting and logging out of Creative Cloud. Is there a way to force load changes from the Cloud or reset the sync feature? Thanks, Jerit
Hi Teams,Heads up, I noticed that CLIP markers are not being passed back and forth. However, SEQUENCE markers seem to be working fine. Also, and maybe should make a separate post for this, my remote system is not reading the actual source timecode. All source clips TC starts at 00. However if remote sys imports the same proxy clip, it reads correct TC.The remote editor is using the proxies only which are GoPro 1280x720 generated in AME.Not sure if the 2 are related. Thanks,Andrew
I have seen some videos where Adobe show us this new feature.I know its in Beta Version, and its being tested with some users.I wanna know if someone of you have tried this new feature, and maybe if you know how to get into this Beta Version.Thank you so much.
Sync icons are turned off and a warning sign apperas beside the sync settings icon at bottom left. When the mouse is over the warining sign the message "Unknown state: Unknown" appears.
My Teammate finished an edit in premiere pro 2017. He tries to use team project system to share his edit for me to follow. I got inverted and opened his file. When I opened, I keep loading in the (Processing loaded asset) menu and remaining me more than 20h for loading the project. Can anyone help me to fix the problem?
Hi,I test team project but i've a problem when i can't save my project. How convert a team project an a simple project? Because it does not properly save the file.Have you ever received any comments on that? Thanks
Hello, so far I'm loving the team beta approach to a project we are working on however, this error message has popped up several times and I'm not sure why. A team member will try to sync their project OR it just randomly pops up saying that they can't sync. When Premiere is closed some of the work is gone which obviously isn't a great feeling. Nobody else in the project was using that Adobe ID which is really the only reason I could think that this might happen. Can anyone please advise as to why this might happen?
Hi, We have been testing the feature and found it works well, and the history slider is really great to go back in time on the project and are considering adding it into our workflow. Small studio sharing projects between 3-5 people (shooter, editors, colour grader, production / operations) with media located on shared network storage. We find the notification that an edit has been shared with you is not prominent enough. We want to know more urgently / importantly that someone has made an edit. Perhaps a prompt asking if you would like to review the shared edit at the time it has been shared. I see we get a notification from Notification Centre in OSX, but its very easy to miss. Its not very obvious an edit has been shared.Could it trigger an email to the registered adobe account email address as a preference, informing the collaborator a change had been made?Look forward to seeing what comes of this,
So once we have done our team project, how do I save it locally as a non-team project?

The service is available to Creative Cloud for teams and enterprise customers. Either upgrade your individual Creative Cloud account or talk to your enterprise Creative Cloud administrator about getting access to this service."Please could you help get team projects running? Thanks,Ellen

Available now for Creative Cloud for teams and enterprise customers."The above is taken directly from adobe's page that can be found here:Premiere Pro CC new features | New virtual reality capabilityI download and install PP CC2017 and click New Team Project and get this:"blah blah blah......The service is rolling out to Adobe customers in stages and is not yet available for you."I'M SO TIRED OF ADOBE'S (Deleted)WHO'S WITH ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!Edited by Kevin Monahan, please don't use profanity. Title edited for better search results.
WHEN DO TEAM PROJECTS GET "ROLLED OUT" TO TEAM CUSTOMERS?? TIMEFRAME ANYONE?????I MUST BE NEW AND BELIEVED ADOBE WHEN THEY SAID IT WAS AVAILABLE........I CAN CLICK THE BUTTON, BUT THEY AREN'T AVAILABLE.
NOTE: Not all CCT users will have immediate accessWe are doing a controlled roll-out of this new service starting Wednesday, November 2. We will monitor performance and add users as specific metrics are met and maintained. This helps us ensure that the customer experience in real world production scenarios is excellent.CCE is naturally throttled with data migration starting November 2 lasting 1-2 weeks, and slower adoption rates gated by internal corporate IT approvals.
WHY WAS ADOBE NOT UPFRONT WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT HOW TEAM PROJECTS ARE BEING DEPLOYED?
