This came with an Office update today, and it is pretty cool.  I can finally type faster than my wife.   Except it is not so much typing as talking.I've only had a brief play with it, and it is doing a remarkable job of understanding my southern English accent.  It will obviously have no chance with Dave's Geordie accent, or Terri's Norfolk twang.  Ged's computer would catch fire trying to keep up him, so it would, and Jane's computer would fall asleep listening to her silky smooth Washington tones (if they even do Office for Macs).The text lags my spoken word to the extent that I have to stop and let it catch up, and you have to manually delete typos and try again.  It responds to Full Stop and Comma but I have not manage to make it respond to any other punctuation.  Hey, it does New Paragraph as well.  Actually it initially types it and then works it out and responds accordingly.Right, how long till Jive can do this?  BTW  This update is

I installed Epson Scan on my W10 PC several months ago and it has worked well. Yesterday I used it, no problem, shut down the PC. Later I tried to start it again, it will not open. I click on the icon in the tool bar, a blue line appears under the icon and then fades away. The app does not open. All my other apps open with no problem. I have been online looking for solutions to W10 apps that do not open - no luck. This is the app with the problem: C:\Windows\twain_32\escndv\escndv.exe

I am new to the program... and while i was working on a lengthy project i noticed the program seemed to be auto saving my work, then the program crashed and i opened my project to find nothing. help! is there a recovery? was it saving in some other location. or is all lost?What program are you using? One of the tedious tasks I dread, after creating a brand identity for a client, is documenting the reproduction guidelines for clients to ensure a consistent and polished use of their digital assets afterwards. It would be useful if Adobe offered an application that could import the assets, identify their fonts and colors, identify the proper file type for each use (email signature, web use, print use, etc.), and provide commonly-accepted boilerplate advice on their use. It should include placeholder graphics of potential media (device screens, apparel, signage, etc.) for the designer to illustrate how the brand should be displayed.

Guys I know this is a long way from being an Apple support forum, but I don't know Apple forums, and there are some clever Apple users here.  Fingers crossed.The elderly gentleman next door to my mother-in-law (where we are currently staying) has forgotten the password for his Apple ID.  To make life difficult, he no longer has access to the cell phone associated with his Apple ID, and after searching for ages, I can't find a way to get the password sent to his email address.  That email address is also his Apple ID.He is trying to get on to his iPad, but he has no idea what model it is, so we don't know what version of IOS.  He certainly doesn't know his verification code, but he might know the answers to security questions.  Is this doble. or does he need to contact Apple support?  He has a working laptop that he can access his email on.The poor guy has had a stroke, and is pretty messed up, so we'd like to help him.    I can PM his Apple

Adobe retired the recertification exam.Some of us need to be up to date with the exams since we teach at Adobe certified places.They just announced the new exams which will be in August and I think that the "OLDER" certified community like us that have so much experience should fight together to bring back the Recertification exam.  I teach the ACA classes in USC, I give advise to students about the ACE exams and feel that it is not fair to ask us to do the entire exam again every two years. 1. In the past as an ACP we got a code from Adobe for free exams...but as everything else it went away now we get 50% off...2. In the past Adobe certified people created the test now it is part of Pearson and actually it is a money making venture...3. they said that the recertification was on line so was not fair, they can bring it back not on line.Why experts like us need to do the entire test? we are the one that answers the questions...They asking us with our experience to do the same test
