ADDED... problem was Norton, not Windows update... see my reply #2I installed win10 update KB3213986 this morning and when it finished restarting, my ie11 would open to a blank screen, and then stop with "not responding"I tried several restarts to see if something about the update had not finished (I waited until it SAID it was done) and same result ie11 not respondingI restored from a backup, and ie11 was working again... after a bit, win update told me I had an update pending, so installed again to see if something about the updated had become corrupted during download/install the first timeSame result... ie11 opens and immediately stops working with "not responding"Microsoft search Microsoft – Official Home Page only had a result for a problem with some kind of redirect, which I don't haveMicrosoft chat from the bottom of https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contact/virtual-agent/ was clueless... wanting to "fix" my ie11 until I wrote, twice, that I was on a RESTORED win10 without KB

There are a bunch of error message that pop up when you do some action, like trying to move a canvas that have no pixel, or could not move the pixel because the layer is locked, can i disable these? they are very annoying.

I recently bought Kaspersky Internet Security 2017-mostly because as a moderator here I click on lots of links and never know whether they are safe or not. Anyhow I came across a bad bug in the product. Essentially if your router uses a 192.168.1.254 gateway, as is the case with all British Telecom routers-the UK's largest internet service provider, Kaspersky blocks access to the router settings. You therefore cannot do simple things like change the router password or the Wi-Fi settings-so not exactly trivial. I thought this was quite useful information to include in a product review at Amazon but they rejected it. It is a bug now confirmed by Kaspersky Labs and won't be fixed until next year when KIS2018 comes out. Call me cynical but the fact Amazon refused to publish a negative review about a best selling product makes me wonder how slanted the customer reviews on Amazon actually ar

Over the last 9 years as a private individual, I have spent over $8000 on adobe products. Every time anything goes wrong, the only reply I get is it will cost you. I have to put up with the ridicules exchange rate, and excuses that downloading the same product worldwide is dramatically different. Its not that I get anything but US English. What is that by the way, I live in England, we speak English.. So today like any other I am trying to get a simple thing like Acrobat to read a file without constant warnings, I mean I have bought the product more than 5 times but this does not matter. So I try to get through to customer support. An oxymoron in this case). Have been on a phone line now for 27min no luck, just the same incredibly poor music drifting in and out so you think you may have lost contact. When your customers pay so much for the privilege of using your product, stop crapping on their heads....

We've all been in this customer service situation at one time or another.  You walk in to the office/bank to speak with an agent. Their phone rings, they answer and instead of putting the caller on hold or transferring the call to another agent, they keep you waiting a long time while they help the caller. Yesterday, I had the reverse situation.  I called an out of town bank.  They put me on hold and never came back.   Calling back resulted in much the same thing.   I asked for another agent, she said none were available.  I asked her to take my number and call me back when she was free.  She never called me back. Who should get priority -- the customer on site or the customer who calls?

Quick question. I am a Graphic Designer. I have a client who wants a logo and also needs a "mascot" for their company (Think Geico). So it will be animated at times. I do not do animation. Would a professional animator prefer to have a drawing that I created or is it easier to start with their own drawing? Hope that makes sense.

Why does my new Epson P800 printer only print 1/3 to 1/2 of the sheet when I start up after a day's rest?  This is hugely wasteful of paper and ink. Is this an Epson issue?The title question says it all. [title edited by mod]

I'm a little confused on conflicting information from the moderator. I got an email from a moderator, that the article not was approved and two e mail to the article was approved. There was no justification of why the article not was approved. I would have liked to have a explanation from the moderator so that I don't make the same mistake next time. It was impossible for me to find an e mail address, so where find I them. If the moderator reads this must he or she would like to write to me and give me a reason on why he or she could not approve my article and maybe also about the article is approved now. Maybe there are also others who read this here that can tell me where I can contact the moderator. Thank you in advance.
