I'm on a Windows 10 OS, having a problem in all Adobe apps (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Rather than rely on Adobe's sketchy connectivity issues, we bought 2 fonts (it's been a problem for years, resulting in lost productivity). We bought the same ones we were "renting" from Adobe, Tisa and Proxima Nova.I deactivated ALL of the active fonts from Adobe, then installed the new fonts.I used the Find/Replace Font dialog box in InDesign to replace the Tisa fonts with no incident.Strangely, I didn't have to do that for Proxima Nova. I figured it was because the font names were the same (slightly different with Tisa). After many hours of running in circles, I've made zero progress.I know the programs are pulling the font from Adobe because I can see the path in the Find/Replace Font dialog box (see graphic). Also, the cloud icon is next to the font names in the drop-down list (see graphic).I unchecked the Auto-Activate box in Preferences > File Handling.I disabled Adobe Fonts in the CC
About 2 weeks ago, I ran into the following problem: When I select an Adobe font (e.g., Adobe Garamond Pro, Garamond Premier Pro, Brioso Pro, Minion 3), even though the font name displays correctly in the ribbon's font list, the text of the document uses a substitute font (which appears to be Arial) and the document also prints as displayed, i.e., in Arial. The problem seems to be limited to Word. The fonts work okay in Excel. Non-Adobe fonts, such as Sabon Next LT and Times New Roman seem to work okay. It may be that Word is okay with TT-OTF fonts but not with CFF-OTF fonts, but I haven't been able to do enough testing to know that for sure. In any event, Word USED to work with the Adobe fonts until a couple of weeks ago. I have reinstalled all my fonts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office 365, all to no avail. Microsoft support has been unhelpful. I'm hoping I can get some answers here.In research, I found others had encountered similar problems with Word and A
I need a font with both sans and serif that also has IPA characters. Noto sans and serif have those characters. Source Pro Sans has them but not Source Serif Pro. Can anyone suggest another choice other than Noto? thanks.
Fonts on certain websites are being overriden to what I believe to be an Adobe font (see screenshot). The font appears to be in bold and italic which presents issues for the work I am doing. I have disabled Adobe fonts and yet the issue still persists. I am running Windows 10 and have Creative Cloud installed. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, I have a question regarding the EmojiOne font included in Adobe CC. My organization has an enterprise license for Adobe CC – can we use the EmojiOne font in broadcast TV productions, and if so, do we need to credit Adobe in some way?

I'm a Beta tester for Win 11 and Adobe's Facebook page referred me to post my issue here.===========-- I S S U E --===========Photoshop uses a dropdown to apply alternate glyphs and characters for premium OTF fonts. Since installing Win 11, this function no longer exists, and there's no other way to access the special characters. (I.E., they're unavailable through character map, etc.)Uninstall/reinstall of fonts no help. Re-downloaded a clean copy of my most expensive font from the seller and reinstalled. No help.-----------------------------I sent this up through the Win Feedback Hub but since most Win Insider participants are tech specialists and NOT designers, there's so far been zero response. I haven't been able to find an online fix (and suspect there may be none, since it appears to be an Adobe users who employ custom fonts NOT to upgrade to Win 11.So far that's the only bug I've seen, but it's obviously a big one. I work with designers who have purchased 10K+ fonts, and th

As part of the transition away from Type 1 Multiple Master fonts, I have fired up a PowerMac 9600 and installed my Adobe SuperATM software onto it to study them a bit more. I'm seeing an application called "Font Builder" and was just wondering what this is. In the About window it reads: Font Builder 1.0Copyright © 1992 Adobe Systems Inc.Written by Steve Herskovitz Am I correct in assuming this is some kind of precursor to the Folio or TypeKit service? It sort of looks that way as it is listing fonts that I don't have on my computer in it's simple menu. Tom
Does anyone know the name of this font? It's not Trajan. Thanks!
Hi! I have a question regarding Adobe Arabic font (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/adobe-arabic#details-section+adobe-arabic-regular). I wonder whether it is sans-serif or sans font-family. The font's page says it is sans-serif although it looks like serif and every external source says it is serif. Could you please help?
My documents in Photoshop use the Swiss 921 font... as of today, coming back to work from the Labor Day holiday, the Swiss 921 font is no longer available in Adobe Fonts! What happened?
Hi, I have a student Account from Creative Cloud (purchase by surfspot.nl) that should give me access to everything. But I don't seem to get access to all the fonts of Creative Cloud. The activate button is nowhere to be seen. Instead, a get the sentence 'Licensed for Personal & Commercial Use'. So is my account limited or is there something else wrong?
I was working on editing text in a PDF someone had emailed me, and all was going smoothly when all of a sudden the font I was typing in changed to something similar, but bolder than the text in the original document. I didn't change anything on purpose, so I'm not sure what happened, but even when I closed out and re-opened the original document, the edited text font was no longer matching the font in the original PDF. VERY frustrating. I see some font options on the right when in edit mode, but couldn't figure out which one was the right one - everything appeared to be in the same size based on font sizes/colors on the right - so the fix isn't obvious!Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have Windows 7 and Suitcase Fusion 3. I know they're really old versions, but I haven't really had the need to upgrade either, much less with the new subscription plans. I was trying to install a font and I got the blue screen. After restarting windows and trying to restart Suitcase Fusion, I got the error message attached. It doesn't matter if I uncheck the box or choose restart or quit, nothing happens after that. I tried reinstalling Suitcase Fusion, but without uninstalling first because I'd die if my font sets are lost. If I sign in as a different Windows user, Suitcase Fusion runs just fine, but all my sets and installed fonts are gone. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much in advance.
I need an Adobe Cyrillic font. I have "Baskerville Cyrillic," which displays in my font window as a Roman font. Can anyone help me choose a Cyrillic font that will display properly in InDesign and Acrobat?

I have created a font with Fontello.Been using it in Illustrator for half an year and updating it weekly. Now I have noticed that some of the glyphs are missing in Illustrator. I went through the Fontello, Windows font manager and Illustrator. There is 20 glyphs missing from Illustrator. So the font seems to be fine (fontello and font manager glyph amount match, font config.json says that those glyphs are in the font), but not all are shown in Illustrator.Any ideas?

This morning I migrated to a new iMac using Time Machine. Since then I am unable to load Typekit fonts in InDesign. I am running the latest version of InDesign, Mac OS Big Sur, etc. Everything is new! But my fonts are broken. I have tried:- restarting the computer several times- logging out/in of creative cloud several times- deactivinging/reactivating the fonts in creative cloud- turning off/on the adobe fonts feature in creative cloud- verified InDesign preferences to enable auto loading Typekit fonts- reinstalling InDesign- changing the name of a file called com.adobe.accmac.plist.old in the machine's Library folder I see a background task running in InDesign, indicating it is loading the fonts. But they never load. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
This works fine for me: <link res="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/id" >But this results in no webfont load and the fallback fonts being used:<link rel="preload" href="https://use.typekit.net/id" as="style" />Is this supported?
