Type & Typography

I want to use a font of Adobe typekit, but can't switch 'Typekit on' in the preferences of adobe creative cloud. How come? I'm using mac, my software is updated and I have the 'portfolio' pack form adobe creative cloud.

I can't sync fonts from typekit. The things is that I can't turn on (it's off now) sync from type kit at my creative cloud. How do I fix that?

I'm doing a project for my typography class in school and the instructions say this."create one paragraph example duplicated in four point sizes: 8/10, 9/11, 10/12, 11/13"So I have my paragraph, duplicated in four, but the problem is I have no idea what these point sizes mean? or what they're referring to? Does anybody have any idea, and if so how can I achieve these point sizes. Thanks!

About a week ago my Typekit stopped working. The fonts that I had been using before are still showing as "synced" in my Creative Cloud account and also in TypeKit, but none of them will show up in any of my Adobe downloaded programs. InDesign CC (2015), Photoshop CC (2015), and Illustrator CC (2015). I have logged in and out of my Creative Cloud account to try to restart it with no luck. I have uninstalled the fonts and reinstalled with no luck as well. They were working great a week before. Not sure what happened. Also, when I go to "fonts" dropdown in Assets in the Creative Cloud the box never opens, and the grey wheel is spinning continually. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know how to find the name of a font once it has been turned into a vector?  Any help would be appreciated!

I have purchased the font ITC Avant Garde Gothic for a client and it turns out it is missing the one glyph they use regularly for Māori words! The straight macron above the 'a'. Is there any way to find a version of the font with this glyph included or any way to add the glyph to the font family?!

I need to cancel my Typekit membership now before I get charged for renewing fees. I don't how to contact  the customer service. Thanks

Ahhh! why can't I select fonts in Muse??? I don't seem to be able to select some fonts in Muse??  Even though font is there in Adobe sample files,i.e. font: Open Sans.

When I launch CC under assets->Fonts I just get a spinning circle. Typekit doesn't load and my fonts added through typekit aren't available. Help!!!

I'm trying to use one typekit font and can't figure out why the loading of the css ends up in "403 forbidden" responce.The JS part is succesfully loaded. The html class stays "wf-inactive".Browser support for webfonts is ON.S. screenshot.Thanks in advance!

I am unable to use my typekit fonts in photoshop because when I got to creative cloud > assets > fonts I get a spinning wheel and cannot access the page. Any ideas??

Why does an Arabic typekit font only show up as an English font when used?

Hi,I'm using a mac (version 10.10.5) and yesterday evening the Creative Cloud app updated (to Version 2.2.0.129 released on 7/27/2015) since then the Typekit tab in de app just shows the blue sun going round. In the preference pane the function to switch typekit on or off is disabled (but in grey you can see it's turned on). When opening a document in InDesign that uses a typekit font I get the error that this font is not available and in the right upper corner it says that typekit is turned off. I can't uninstall Creative Cloud app because other apps apparently need it (a window pops up telling this). Hi,A font that has successfully syncronized it's my computer for months is now showing up as not available. Illustrator recognizes that I can sync it from TypeKit, but clicking the "sync" button does nothing, only an endlessly spinning loading symbol. I've tried quitting and restarting both Illustrator and Creative Cloud. Again, illustrator notices I have the font available to sync, but does nothing when I attempt to bring it back onto my computer.Is this occurring for others? Are there any known solutions? I have a deadline to meet, haha…‌

I've been trying to sync up some fonts through Typekit. On the browser it shows that they're synced, but on the Creative Cloud desktop manager, I can't manage any fonts. It just gives me a never-ending loading icon.Please help.

I have already installed the Creative Cloud app once, and worked fine.After I logged in another machine, to use my assets files and sync them, the app doesn't work fine anymore in the first machine.The assets and typeset fonts doesn't sync, the app icon continues black (working) but doesn't work really.What I can do? I've already search for a help in the Adobe Suport Chat but they send me some instructions by e-mail, for a WINDOWS machine! And I can't do that instructions the same way. I cant connect to Typekit and cannot use the fonts. Market is runnig regularly but the font section just shows the spinning wheel... Any Ideas?Im using a Mac with OS X 10.10.5

My adobe typekit fonts will not sync to my CC applications like Illustrator and I am unable to edit them.  The Fonts menu in the CC desktop app won't load and will not let toggle the Synced fonts on and off.  They do however show up as synced in my Creative cloud account in my browser under synced fonts. 

HiMy fonts that have been synced from typeset are not loading again. can you tell me if there are alternative ways or maintenance tasks I could start doing as this is happening on a regular basis, I just want to open my current book and have the fonts load I have tried this below and am awaiting typekit response any help appreciated PS I have just loaded the ghostery add on to block trackers, i don't know if this makes a difference steve w 1. Since the Creative Cloud update yesterday, my fonts aren't syncing anymore.Anyone else having the same problem? How do I fix it?

I have the student/teacher version of creative cloud, I bought a year long subscription to the whole service. I really want to use typekit to find some fonts but every time I try to log into typekit, it logs me in for a couple seconds and then the page refreshes again on its own and it logs me out. This goes on every time I've tried this, also this is frustrating because instead of actually learning the software I purchased, I've spent a good amount of time over the last couple of weeks asking questions on here for Adobe CC trouble shooting after not finding answers in already asked questions, or being able to access the chat to a representative option when I choose to contact adobe. Why is that? Why is the live chat option not available in general? Also another problem I'm having with creative cloud is that it continues to revert to trial mode, (I've tried the sign out and sign back in thing, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) in fact I received and email the day before yesterd

I found a font that I want to use in adobe Photoshop. The trouble is that I can't find a way to put in fonts typekit.
