I'm using the same Adobe ID (which is the only one that I've used since the beginning of the process) to open the viewer builder and everything in DPS and this screen won't accept it. Is this a common issue? I already uninstalled it and installed it again and it doesn't seem to budge.I'm really desperate, since I need to have this uploaded ASAP. Any pointers? I appreciate your collaboration. thanks!-d
Every time I convert a word document to pdf, a paragraph number 1.1 appears randomly throughout the pdf. Anyone know what causes this? Thanks in advance,Christopher
Hi!I don't know in which forum to post my question, so I do it here...I'd like to know how I can get the PDF bill of my past orders. I did not find any link in my account...Thanks a lot for your help!
When I go to the Premiere Elements forum I see a screen with all discussions showing. If I come to this forum I see 'Trending Discussions'. How do I set it to display all the discussions?Cheers,--NealeInsanity is hereditary, you get it from your children
Unless I am very wrong, it's now 7 1/2 hours since Monday 23, 8:30 pm PST, and the forums are fully operational. Yet a look at the first three item in this list shows no change:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/999431?tstart=0Are we there yet?
I've not read any of the other posts here, and I'm sure many of these things have already been addressed by others... My comments are coming from my background in design and web production.I'm a frequent(?) user on the PrPro forums, and have been frustrated by some of the changes. I'll start off by saying that the forums were awful before, and some of the changes have indeed been welcome. However, there are some issues, too.First, (and this extends to the entire Adobe website), you need to change the font used on the website and the forum. It's so thin and spidery that it makes reading text very difficult. On the forum side, the not-quite-black text on the gray background is very tiring on the eyes to read. If you're going to go with a grey background, you need a truly black text. If you're going white or a yellow-white, you can go with the slight gray over the black.I really miss seeing the post counts next to user's names... it's helpful in weeding out the serious posters vs. the fol
What's the story behind the Adobe Camera Raw forum using this (butt-ugly) purple icon labeled "mediaencoder"?
To all involved with this morning's forum update:I was going to start by saying "I mean no disrespect", but I actually DO mean some... There's a limit to anyone's patience and optimism, and frankly you've lost my respect.1. Did the forum actually look like this when it was tested before roll-out?2. It WAS tested before roll-out, right?3. Do you have people with any actual training or experience doing your web work?4. Who approved this as "ready to go online"? Why is this person still employed by Adobe?I have been willing to overlook some glitches before, after having been stunned that such glitches ever made it to public view but knowing that there was work was in progress to fix them. But I am having trouble finding forgiveness in my heart for rolling alpha quality results out to the public twice in a row. You're Adobe! Did it occur to you that your web site is a public face of your company, and that it doesn't impress your (potential) cu
Have see a couple of posts where each line in the text has a white backgound. Example below. Curt Y, Community Member May 20, 2012 8:12 AM This is NOT TRUE. "FYI: In Windows, to exit a program/application, clicking the Close button in the upper-right corner of the program window is the same as using the File menu, and click Exit."If you click the red X you close the window and force close of the program. Any changes you made to program will not be saved if you have the option "start Bridge at login" checked. If you click File>Exit the program will go through the procedure to normally close down, and any changes you made will be saved.
If I am not logged in, the layout of a page is grossly different from what it is if I'm logged in. Why whould the layout be different if someone is not logged in? Is there some point to this? Is this supposed to appear inviting to a potential user when viewing these forums for the first time? What I see is a column on the left labeled "Trending Questions".Whether logged in or not, the page elements are scattered all over the place.OS X 10.7.4Safari 5.1.7 (7534.57.2) or FireFox 10.0.2MacProApple Cinema Display
Thank you John C. Reply Numbers are back!I see that post counts have returned, as well, though that means less to me, other than seeing that a poster is new, and has just posted their first time. Others can then "welcome" them to the particular forum. The spacing of the threads on the forums' main page needs a bit of work, as things rather run together vertically, but "one step at a time." Getting better, so we'll just wait a bit, until the formatting has been sorted out.Again, thank you John C. Job well done.Hunt[Edit] I forgot to mention that "In Response To ___ " is also back!
Using IE9 whenever I embed italicized words in a sentence I see them jam against the following word.Do these words seem spaced properly to you or do the italicized words seem jammed against the words that follow?Do these words seem spaced properly to you or do the italicized words seem jammed against the words that follow? This is a basic formatting glitch - possibly having to do with the font choice - that should never be seen in this millenium from a company that actually does graphics and even makes fonts. Here's a screen grab of what I see:-Noel
Adobe for goodness sake clear the clutter from your web site. I don't want to go round in circles just to ask a question from so called support. Here another heads up, help centres, where ever they are located should have people who know the programmes not just work from scripts on problems. Knowledge of a programme is far more useful, it allows for independent thinking to solve problems or recognise when a problem should be referred to the coders for fixing..
What does clicking on either of these links do?-Noel
Will you guys PLEEEASE get rid of the Overview page and just go straight to the Discussions page.? The Overview is a waste of time. Get us where we want to be from the start - Discussions! This can't be a very difficult thing to change. As in, I'd love for that to happen by tomorrow.
give us the entire discussion list when first going to the page, not just the most recent six discussions... or else make it clearly obvious and easy to get to all the discussions. And when you open a post, don't jump us straight to the bottom, cause we need to start at the top, see what the OP was asking, and then read the other replies so we can know best how to reply ourselves.
Hi - Does Adobe Presenter have a load utility to upload multiple quiz and presentation settings at one time instead of one by one?
Hi With kind help from the forum my problem has now been solved, although I was still getting email notifications from every topic, after advice I was directed to the "email notification preferences" where I think I stopped all notifications by putting a spot in "NO" for every preference, although I would like to leave my own topic open for emails for a little longer.Unfortunately I am still inundated with email notifications for each topic on the forum, have I missed something? as my inbox is still full of email notifications which I would like to stop, regards Robert.
PLEASE HELP!!!I understand that there has been numerous threads about this already but nothing is working for me!Basically, whenever I right click (this is a necessity as you know!) this message appears: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.0\Version Cue.dllI used to have the trial version of Indesign CS4, but uninstalled it when the trial was up. I think this is when this started. I have photoshop Elements 6.0 which is working fine. I have been told to move the Adobe folder to another folder in the C drive but it won't let me because I need administrator permission (to unlock this, you need to be able to right click the file! ) Hopefully, someone can help with this.
Maybe I am missing this and just need it pointed out but is there a way to flag someone's post? The main reason I ask is because occasionally I will come across a post that would be better in another forum that the forum I see it in. And of course if there are ever spam or other type of messages that are not appropriate for the forums. Edit: I missed the report abuse on the right hand side (was looking at my post not another) but that still leaves me with the question of how do I flag a message that would be better suited for another forum that the one posted in?
The web master for my office uses Web Expressions in creating and maintaining the web page. If I purchase Contribute will I be able to edit pages he has created and create new web pages in the web site he has created?
I have a kindle fire and I can't stop your email flooding my mail box. Thanks!
You produce tools to help novices make great websites, yet you absolutely unequivocally destroyed your sites usability. A few examples? Getting into an actual forum using the whole 'discussions concept' which deviates from the vast majority of forums was never a good idea. Now I can't even find my own way into certain forums unless I already have a post there and can click into it and back out. But, I can't always back out to the discussions. Is this a joke? The text collides? Navigation hindering? Can you tell me why the text "Discussions" isn't clickable? It was previously. Moreover can you tell me what person is responsible for allowing the text to run into other text? This is seriously novice. I realize I can hit Mobile Development but then I'm required to click the tiny blue Next > link at the bottom to actually get to the discussions? Why can't I just click Discussions as before to return? Next, what were you thinking with space with this abomination of text size and utter terr
After eagerly downloading and trying Flash CS6, one glaring bug hit me.I'd tried to report it, in some detail, but I get a replay from a postmaster@redirect.wip4.adobe.com that informs me my feedback cannot, and will not be delivered. Can someone look at that? The "bug" in Flash, if you'r interested, is that the compile time is so long that it is unusable. While FlashDevelop compiles a project in under 2 seconds, the same project in Flash CS6, takes upto 5 MINUTES, while the interface hangs and says "Not Responding".That means I would spend more time waiting than actually developing some days.
The forum "Preferences" are stuck on wrong time zone for my account, and any attempt to save the correct time zone (Pacific) results in an error message in the Preferences page, and it jumps back to Mountain Time, regardless of what other time zone I attempt to save, including in Europe and Asia.Tried several browsers, including Safari and Firefox on the Mac. Not a biggie, but a bit disconcerting.
