My profile is corrupted. My user name is changed to "try67-RDOMCR" (should be just "try67") and my personalised view (http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa?showpreview=true) is gone, as well as all of my PM's (those I don't really care about, really) ...Could someone please fix this ASAP? Thanks in advance.

Hi there,I have phoned adobe to ask this question, however they suggested I post it on the forums:How can we get our school listed in the Adobe Accredited Schools List to be eligible for educational discounts? Here is the link:http://www.adobe.com/education/students/studentteacherlicensing/countries/british_columbia.htmlAgain, we would like to have our school in that list. How do we do it? Who do we contact?Thank you.
There's a thread going around in the video lounge about adding a new forum to the Adobe lineup - Jobs.http://forums.adobe.com/thread/771486?tstart=0Any why not? So much of the video production community is asking specifically for Final Cut or Avid editors. We Premiere editors (who can probably do more work in less time with CS5 than the same guy using one of the other programs) want our chance to say "Hey, don't leave us out because of past conceptions. We want in". A Job postings forum here seems like an excellent communication channel for those looking to hire, as well as those looking to network. It would not be limited to editors, either. Web designers, graphic designers, as well as video & audio professionals using Adobe products would have a place to find a crew, an employee, a freelancer, or even just college credit or personal experience.I think sorting it all out by Adobe product would be very cumbersome, so you would have only two subdi
I tried to download an update for Adobe to view Youtube. I bought a new computer and needed the download. I went through all the steps and got to the section of reading the license agreement. However, look as I did, there is no place to mark Accept the license agreement so I can proceed to download the update. Why is this so difficult? And why do you not leave room for a message like this. If the problem is not one you define, then there is no way to write the question the user has. Please respond to my e-mail address: [email address removed by host]. Thank you.
The Update button in the bottom left (available after "Editing" your post) has the frustratingly annoying habit of not actually updating my post, forcing me to repost my changes. Sometimes more than once.
I know the program is a pain sometimes especially at startup, but I could use my free adobe photoloader todowload images and videos from all of my cameras. I lost it when my IT guy had to reformant my hard drive.I can't find it online anywhere.... any suggestions?
I have been an Adobe user all the way back to PS5 and I have purchased every upgrade all the way to PS CS3 Design Premium. Same with Illustrator. I've had Lightroom ver 1,2 and 3. Also, Indesign ver 4 thru CS3. When I purchased Adobe CS Standard then upgraded to CS3 Design Premium, I didn't know that I would never be able to upgrade single software programs from their CS3 version to any upgrades from there. Early this year I dowloaded PS CS5, of course it wouldn't install because I have to purchase the entire CS5 Design Premium. I called Adobe and they allowed me to Upgrade to PS CS5 because I had purchased so much from them in the past. That was nice! I didn't think about all this yesterday as I purchased CS5 Illustrator and CS5 Dreamweaver. I downloaded the software which by the way was $400.00. When I tried to install it, it would not install, said my serial number wasn't valid. I called Customer support and they informed me that
http://forums.adobe.com/message/3357827#3357827I accidentally inserted personal info on one of the replys in the above mentioned forum. Is there a way to delete that portion or the entire forum?
So,Long story short: I bought Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and Photoshop Elements 8, and installed them on my computer that is running Windows 7. From the begining whenever I opened up either program and clicked on the organize function the program would crash, shut down, and generate a crash message. I sent a message through their customer support portal, and needless to say I have been less than happy with them. They first gave me a list of probably fixes which was pretty lengthy, but I went through each one and none of them fixed the problem. I finally thought I might be getting somewhere when they said they would call to help. Well, I bought the program in May 2010 and it is now December 2010. Other than taking 2 months off because I got tired of trying to arrange my schedule for their phone call it has been a huge hassel. I can't tell you how many different excuses or problems I have had trying to get them to call me. They would call on the wrong day or the wrong time. I would request
Hi,Since a few days, the forum pages are scrolling very, very slowly in Firefox (and a little bit faster in IE, but it's slow anyway). I don't have any problem scrolling pages in other fora or web sites. This only happens when scrolling pages in the Adobe fora.Any change in the forum software? Any idea? Thanks in advance.--Patrick
I doubt that this person is deliberately posting his messages twice:http://forums.adobe.com/message/3347096#3347096And I would say this is not by any means the only case of double posting I have seen lately, but I don't feel like looking for other cases to report them...
I'm trying to search the Adobe > Flash > Flash forum with the "Search This Forum" box. I get a "0 results" message for all searches, even if I just enter a word I know to be present in the forum like "Flash" or "layer". I'm using Firefox 3.6.12 on Windows XP.
When I use the search function on the forum, this is the result page I get:You can guess that it is not very helpful not to get the topic title or even links that take you to one of the results.Maybe this is just a glitch, but just to inform you that at the moment, the search function is not really a great help for me.
I registered an account. When ever I try to login it says.."You do not have a permission to log in. If you think this is incorrect, please contact the administrators."When I click "contact the administrators" it doesn't give me any information.Any information or help about what I should do would be grateful.Thanks,-Nate
Like Adobe story, I helped to give some ideas, but I can not understand why it should work online. My material is safe on another PC, not connected to the internet, so things work in the professional world, even to ward off the dangers of computer viruses or attacks. Why can not I install on a PC not connected to the network? It seems like a huge limitation. There are rumors that Adobe is a tricksy to "steal" material and personal ideas to their clients, but I do not believe it, it seems a serious home .... we hope.ThanksDomenico
CS5 Photoshop installer does not work, Why?
Firefox 3.6.12OS X 10.6.2If I'm on, say, page 3 of a forum and I read a post, if I hit the Back button in my browser it takes me back to page 1 rather than page 3. Super-unfriendly and annoying behavior... does this happen to anyone else?(Why Adobe didn't just use known-great forum software like phpBB I'll never know...)
I just purchased the design package cs5 included Photoshop, illustrator, and indesign.Photoshop and illustrator worked as they have in the past with no problems. This is the first time I have used InDesign and it did not work. Most of the mouse clicks did not do anything etc. After reading the help forums, I changed to my default font size ( the 60 year old eyes liked the larger fonts), and fixed the problem. Now why would one product need the fix while other products work? I have around 4 to 7 hours invested in finding that issue, with the frustration of the broken software. I should add I started with Photoshop; CS2 when it was new, and I can hold my own, I can sell my work. I have 3 months with Illustrator and I am learning fast.I am not a rank beginer as I go back to before Microsloth. So I shall say it Adobe should not have this issue with InDesign. If I sound frustrated sorry for that, but I do feel better for it.Thank you
After checking "remember me" in the Login dialog, I can no longer access Adobe Forums. I get "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I have checked my Preference settings in Firefox to allow all cookies, and keep until they expire. I have no Cookie Exemptions listed. Any ideas?thanksCB
