Using the Community

1. Notice of a correct answer Subject doesn't include the forum name or the discussion subject. It just says 'adobe support community. You have to follow the link to find out what it's referring to. 2. When someone likes your post, the Subject line is blank. It should include the forum name and discussion subject.

When I entered only my email, I was forced to change my password. Ok, that's fine, something to do with safety I guess. So I went to my email, where I'm always automatically logged in, clicked the link in the mail. Here I was led to a page where I could fill in my new password, but without also asking to enter the old one! This is dangerous! If someone had access to my pc and only knew my emailadress, this person could have changed my password without me knowing! Please make this more safe and let people fill in their old password first somewhere in the process, at least once. Beside this. I find it strange that when a password auto-fill in can be made visible. This also is extremely dangerous. People can literally view your password, just by clicking on the eye.I hope these things change quick.  Nick

When I resize my viewport below 776 pixels, the insert icon for code </>  disappears.  It should wrap to a 2nd line as do the other icons.  

At some time on 29th December all posts have switched to appear to be from the same date in 2020 (Dec 29, 2019 > Dec 29, 2020 so far). It may be intriguing to see what we shall see on 2nd January.   Maybe one of our Adobe friends will have the opportunity to look into it.   12月29日のある時点で、すべての投稿が2020年の同じ日付からのように切り替わりました（2019年12月29日> 2020年12月29日）。 1月2日に見られるものを見るのは興味深いかもしれません。   たぶん、アドビの私たちの友人の一人がそれについても検討する機会があるでしょう。    

most of today I got a 503 (IIRC) Error. Didn't think to take a screen shot of it. Got it on my desktop ciomputer this morning and also on my Android phone with Chrome browser. Got home about 5 PM EST and no problem. Just now I had been Signed Out (Again) from inactivity and when I clicked the Sign In button I got the same error.Anyone else having this problem?

METHOD 1: Click on Avatar. Select Account Settings. Nothing happens 😞   METHOD 2: Click on Avatar. Right-click Account Settings and select open link in new tab... Wait 5 minutes for browser to resolve to https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info Resulting errors.  A lot of spurious HTML codeError fetching settings data.  MACROs 4  - 12 This widget could not be displayed.    If it matters, I'm on Windows 10 desktop and Firefox Quantum 69 (64-bit).    

Hiya, made a post in Adobe Animate forum about php, it posted no problem, however I went back to fix a typo... and after completing my post was marked spam -_- my fault probably. It's an urgent topic, since my project is like 99.9% complete and this is the "final piece of the puzzle"  😛  would appreciate it thanks!!!  I did click the report button, but then I got an error submitting, and.. now my topic is gone gone.

Some boards have announcements at the top. Notices in this part are useful for communicating information from Adobe to users.Is it possible to translate the title displayed here into the language selected by the user?Users who do not understand English cannot respond to this announcement. The announcement has not been used effectively.   Same in Japanese:いくつかのボードではトップにアナウンスメントが表示されています。この部分の告知はAdobeからユーザーへ情報を伝達するのに有効なものです。ここで表示されるタイトル部分だけでも、予めユーザーが選択している言語へ翻訳して表示出来ないでしょうか？英語が理解できないユーザーはこの告知に対して反応できません。これではせっかくの伝達手段を有効活用出来ていない事になります。

If I select a topic filter under the number button, leave the forum and come back, the selected filter is hidden, but the forum is filtered.   The selected filters should bubble to the top of the list so I can tell what I'm looking at. Otherwise I get confused why I'm not seeing the latest posts.   Expanded filter list with a single filter selected:         Return to the forum and the filter is hidden under +9, but the discussion list is still filtered.

Hi all,   Here's what we released on Monday, Nov. 11th on the Adobe Support Community:   Profile: Bug: Most Valued Participant badges are now displaying on profile avatars throughout the Community   Notifications: Bug: Follow and Unfollow status should now accurately reflect Follow and Unfollow selections on Community board pages   Posting/Editing/Replying Bug: Replies should no longer break with lengthy attachment names   Reading Enhancement: Changing "Latest Replies" to "Latest" to make clear that it includes post creation and replies as latest activity Bug: Translation menu should no longer show above button and should no longer hide the English option.   This past sprint was a short one but our next one is longer than usual - expect to see more enhancements, new features, and bugs addressed!   If you have any ideas about the Adobe Support Community or bugs to submit, please make a post in this community board and select the Feature Request

I have just be asked to log on to adobe to change my payment details as the last invoice could not be paid (I have changed my credit card). No problem with that of course I should pay for the service. BUTwhen I try to log on the stupid system insists that I should change my password. So instead of having a password that I will actually remember, I now have a password that I probably will forget by the next time I need to log in in a couple of years time. Plus I have spent a lot of unnecessary time to get this wasted password.  Why?????!!!!!! Maybe stop doing this?

Hello, I want to change my username for the community support forum. I have tried to change through my adobe account setting and it says it has successfully changed but doesnt change on the community support page. Why wont it update my username but it is telling me it has "successfully updated" on my adobe account settings?

Ya'll may want to fix your automated e-mailer that send notes to folks posting in the support forums. Why is the Portfolio 'forum' read only ?

Before today, if I selected the "Community" filter on the landing page, Get Started was listed as a community.   Today, it isn't. Seems a bit odd. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

I don't know if this is a recent update or what, but I never had this problem before. If I search a question in Google and get Adobe Forum results, when I click on it, it refuses to take me to the thread. Instead it takes me to an Adobe page that wants me to do a seperate search. Well, I can never find the thread I found on Google from Adobe's search, so that is extremely frustrating. Come on Adobe, this sucks. Any way around this? >>Apkafe

The Notices, Especially for how to tell an Adobe Employee should be at the TOP of EVERY forum main page. It is not on the Get Started forum page or the Feedback page (this forum).  This can lead to unsuspecting users being SCAMMED through the PM system. This has just happened in this discussion.https://community.adobe.com/t5/get-started/signed-up-for-black-friday-did-not-intend-to-use-plan-for-a-few-months-at-least-but-it-already/td-p/10818311 That notice should be on every forum main page.Not that all users would read it but at least it would be available to them no matter what forum they are posting to.

Hi, Some dummy Latin text inside an HTML script got flagged for naughty words.   The offending 3 letter word meaning "with" as in magna c*m laude should not be flagged especially if wrapped inside a script.   Merry Christmas!

So I have subscribed, Followed, several forums as I don't have the time, and since being removed from the ACP program for some unknown reason, or initiative to browse the forums and it seems that there is a SET Number of forums you can follow. If I go over that number, which I haven't determined yet, one of the other forum I have selected to follow get Unfollowed. Or at least the Follow/Unfollow button changes back to Follow. I haven't been able to discern through the email notifications which have switched from Follwed to Unfollowed. But the button has change back to Follow which I take as I haven't followed that forum. The one I normally follow are LR Classic, PS, Get Started Feedback and the Community Help forums. Is this a bug in the long list of bugs on this system.
