Using the Community

The title says it all really.It would be really helpful at times like this, when lots of people are having the same problem, or a new camera is as yet unsupported, that something is added to the forum Announcement box. Apparently, many people don't bother to read through the forum for similar issues, but they might take notice of the highlighted box at the top of the page.Anyway, is there actually anyone who moderates here, or is it just the case that a staffer announces updates every few months?

I accidentally marked my question as "Assumed Answered".  How do get it changed back to "Not Answered" so that it will show the correct status?

custom avatars to become active?Four days ago I uploaded a custom avatar, once in .JPG format and once in .PNG format and it is still 'pending'. How long does it take before one can choose a custom avatar for the community profile? A week, a month, a year or even longer?

When Uploading a video, I am given a "Online services encountered an error. The Service will now be terminated or paused if possible." How do I fix this? Where did it come from?

  Despite reading "community guidelines" I still receives too may emails.   What must I do with email option to stop receiving too many emails??

I am here on this forum and on the left it says, "You haven't updated your status". OK I click on the link and off it sends me to where I should go to do this but I can not see anywhere as to how or where to do this. I do a Ctrl-F for a "Find" and type in the word ''status' should my eyes be failing me as to where this can be done, but nothing shows up. So I'm lost here.

Hello, I am filling out my Adobe profile, and it's kind of confusing.  I guess Adobe tried making it look like a social media site with similar features, but it doesn't seem to be working that way aside from appearance.For example, there is a field called URL and another field called My URL.  What is the difference between them and what is the purpose?  Is it how you allow people to link to your Adobe profile so people can follow your posts, etc?  Confused, please help.

Hi.  How come my avatar is not visible in discussions?  My picture is approved by moderators (I received an email about it), but I still can't see it on the site

Why do I get an email notification every time I post something on the forum about my message being "approved"?  Is there  a way to disable this?  And every time someone posts a message, it needs to be approved by a human moderator???  That doesn't seem to be a very efficient way to run a forum!

I have an issue with Digital Editions and the online community here has not been able to help.  I tried Adobe's online support chat and they refused to help me.  Any suggestion on where to go to get my issue with an Adobe products resolved?

Recently there are lots of spam posts on the Premiere Pro forum posted by 'hsg7942d18940076'Can you please remove all those posts and block this user.

I've noticed that some of my replies by email don't come through... For example, I've sent a reply to this thread (I have a question about extracting pages. When I do the function, adobe saves the individual files as "<file name><spac…) and it never arrived, so I posted it via the thread itself. I have a suspicion it might have to do with the use of special symbols in the title (quotes, smaller-than, greater-than, etc.), but this is just a guess. Anyone else experiencing this behaivour?

I have been a Creative Cloud member for over a year along with I am a Business Catalyst partner (so actively using Adobe products everyday). I randomly go to posts in this forum, but have never posted till now. If I am in someones post and try to click a link to another post shared, I get this error? Anyone have this issue? I am the owner, and payer for my Adobe products, so nothing to do with my stuff that I did or set myself. I just dont get it. I keep forgetting to call Adobe about it but I now got it again. It is beyond annoying and keeps me from actively using the forum.I know Adobe does not always see, or reply to posts. So, anyone with suggestions to why would help.Thanks,Sarah

How do I change my screen name on my profile

I am a Photoshop Scripting and Bridge Scripting forum subscriber. Some how the forum discussion emails have been interrupted. (no longer being forwarded to my personal inbox).I can only access the forum discussions by logging into the Adobe Forums website. I was able to correct the problem by changing my Adobe ID email. The Adobe servers blocked my previous email somehow.
