For the first time since SBS7 I opened the Adobe forums today, and the orange blob next to my account icon is gone.To see my Inbox (or mod queue) I need to click on the dropdown right of the account icon and select Inbox & Activity. Is this a temporary glitch or a permanent improvement?
Hi. Is there any way I can create a filter to see only discussions that I started? I'd like to review questions I've had in the past and the answers to them.I recall that an earlier forum UI allowed me to filter on my own discussions. I can't see how to do this with the current UI.Thx.-Kurt Euler
This is a totally useless feature and it's and absolute nuisance to see this "communication" so darned often.Am i missing a setting or option to turn this off permanently somewhere? As a matter of fact are there any "forum preferences" anymore? Thanks in advance.
Hi,is it possible to search within my own posts only, in the adobe forums ?is there a forum for general questions about using the adobe forums ?Regards,Frank

Someone sent me a question via PM. I then had to go and look somewhere else, and when I came back the PM was gone from the Inbox. Is there a way to retrieve a read message?(Thanks to some sort of "photographic memory" I was able to remember the user name, so I could send her the answer as a new PM.)
Hii did notice that i can't get the email notificationsit started 10 days ago or lesswhy can i get an email notification ?is there an new option to enable?i did check my email spam folder , and there is nothingthe last notification is about 16/8 2014 21:01
Adobe community won't let me post a question. Normally it will prompt me to log in after being logged in already. Sometimes after logging in and submitting, it just reloads to the login screen. Very frustrating and I'm not sure why this is happening. It is a miracle that I was able to even attempt posting this and another question earlier today. Normally, it would not even let me finish typing my question before this happens (see picture below) then it exits the screen and goes back to the login screen.Anyone have any idea as to why this could be happening? It says at the bottom in the orange box, "The content that you requested could not be displayed due to an error. You may have been logged out. If this problem persists please contact your system administrator." I haven't tried contacting my administrator yet, but I would just like to get some ideas as to why this is happening. Last resort, I will contact them. Thanks!
I finally found the User Manual. This should be put up at the head of the website - not hidden away. It was recently posted. I didn't know it existed. I discovered it by accident. Some of the stuff in the User Manual is confusing and not well or completely explained. I don't seem to be following any streams. I've turned "e-mail me" back on, and I'm waiting to see if I get flooded with e-mails yet again - although everything else is supposedly filtered. My problem is two-fold:(1) I'm only interested in ONE specific problem aspect of Adobe Flash Player - I don't want to hear about anything else - it's irrelevant.(2) I ONLY want responses to my relevant questions - I don't want a huge amount of trivial data about AFP - I can look it up in the forums myself. And I DON'T want notifications about all this clogging up my e-mail inbox, in turn.Re the User Manual again - I finally confirmed the sad news that I can't delete stuff - 95% of which is useless and unneeded by me. So how do I prevent i
Can anyone recommend an all round CS6 book suitable for beginners and intermediate users alike?
Really these forums use one of the worst web software I ever came across with. It is slow loading, the interaction is even slower, windows close unexpectedly, I get logged out mid writing a entry, or it just refuses to let me in all of a sudden. I've spend to much time just retyping a message as they just disappear. Is Adobe support looking for a more state of the art software to use on these forums?Wish list:Include a predefined selection of Operating SystemsInclude a predefined selection of type of error (Discussion or question is way to wide)Remove all useless and utterly annoying animationsWhen starting a new entry STOP MOVING the cursor away from the title to the entry. LET THE USER DECIDE WHAT (S)HE WILL WRITE FIRSTInstead of your old MacPro you use now, invest in a good webserver park.Include a search that works.Feel free add more points to this discussion.
Hi together! This morning I tried to access the Adobe Forums and realised that they are under maintenance. After about one hour I could log in again. To my surprise the log-in page was layouted differently than before. And also its language changed from English to German (my locale language). But also with that the language of all relevant UI elements in the forums. No big thing, but I'd prefer English for my user interface of the forums. How can I change that back to English?(In case I want to make screenshots to communicate in an international fasion…)Uwe
When using the Adobe Forum Comment Editor (You know, the thing you type in to post question or comments)When you are typing in Google Chrome, the cursor will sometimes jump to another line. This happens a LOT, and I have to use a text editor (Notepad or other) to type out my question or comment,Then copy and past into the Forum Editor.Does anyone know if there is a work around to resolving this irritating issue? Thank YouWayne
Hi. I just joined Adobe Community forums less than a day ago. PROBLEM: I can't figure out how to filter out EVERYTHING else in my Adobe Inbox, except ONLY for replies to MY questions. I looked at my e-mail today, seeing all the "replies" regarding Adobe - only to find out that none of them were relevant. It's just like getting spammed. I want to hear about an answer ONLY to my ONE question. I don't care about anything else with Adobe, except my specific problem. I can't spend all my time deleting irrelevant e-mails. I DO want to find out via e-mail, if somebody has answered my question, because it's showing in my Adobe Inbox. So how do I filter this? Like a lot of the stuff on the forums, it sure isn't obvious how to set it up - there's no instructions. One other thing: there should be - proactively set up - a default setting, that DOESN'T let anything and everything through; that should ONLY be an OPTION.
Hi,I can't seem to reply to some discussions. For example, this thread had a question:BAD PARAMETER Error when Deleting Pages in AcrobatBut I had to make a new discussion to answer it:Re: Solution to "Bad Parameter"Other threads still allow me to reply. What's wrong? I'd like to share the solution to a problem I found with the people that asked it in the first thread I posted. Pretty annoying...Cheers,Bryan

Can something be done to prevent newcomers from writing their messages in the Title window?
reference (more info here..): No more email updates from this forum. In case not clear as worded, I'd like to get said email notifications, as I was, as I am (theoretically) still registered to do..Put another way: it seems to be broken, and I'd like to get it fixed..
I posted this discussion yesterday: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1567577Downloading is working for me now. I would like this discussion to be deleted. Thank you.

Greetings,Where is the forum for Adobe ID? I'm wondering if they support two-step verification.Thanks,Shane.
I have had an Adobe online account for some time (a couple of years). I logged in today to download some brushes and then got an email about 1 minute later saying:"Dear [my name], You recently created an AdobeID. Your AdobeID is [my email] To confirm your email address, please click this link: https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com/renga-idprovider/pages/evp?email=[my email] &client_id=exchange1&locale=en&key=KZDY81Z80ZKV3120RVVDEBRSTC Please note: If you cannot access this link, copy and paste the entire URL into your browser. The Adobe Team Copyright 2011 Adobe Systems Incorporated. All rights reserved. 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110 USA"Name and email removed with square brackets surrounding what I've deleted.Since I created my address years ago why would I be sent this email now? And clearly since I am logged in posting this, I don't need to varify anything. Has someone/something hacked Adobe servers? Of is this just an error on Adobe's part? Thanks.
