As of yesterday evening I was finally able to log in after having been locked out of these forums for upwards of a week.During that time I tried several times to clear all Adobe and Jive cookies (which ultimately meant I needed to supply credentials to log into several other forums again as well). At this point I have coded a batch file that will find and delete cookies that contain the strings "Adobe" or "Jive". Why did I need to do that? To this day I've never needed to do so to continue to access ANY other forum.I'm computer savvy; I know how to recover from problems. But I'm imagining mere mortals repeatedly getting those "There was an error" responses from their browser.Does anyone care that the forum, where good, smart people help do Adobe's support job for free, basically doesn't work - locking people out essentially permanently?-Noel
So it seems that Adobe has once again chosen to go the route of not even giving an opt-out option for whatever 'software' they bundle their Adobe Flash update with. I fail to see how this practice creates anything but mistrust for these products from a consumers perspective. Having worked in IT and having had to deal with questions like "Why is my browser changed/messed up?" or "Why did X show up on my computer and is now spamming me to buy something?" it's frustrating knowing that in many cases it's large companies that are to blame. In this case it seems even more calculated coming right after a major holiday when inevitably more PC's and more inexperienced users enter the market.I personally will never use McAfee or Google Chrome or (heaven forbid) Ask.com related software if this is how they intend to do business. I'd like to think that large businesses like Adobe would have better marketing strategies for their sponsors that don't create dissent and distrust among consumers.
Hi,I don't know where to pose these questions. I'm going nuts with these forums, specifically the InDesign forum. I've sent multiple emails to "forums@adobe.com," but, nobody responds.I have to close down Safari and go back in three or four times before I can get the forum link to work. It's just dead there.I no longer get email notifications when someone has answered a question I posed. I have to manually go into the forum every half hour or so to see if anyone's responded. The forum used to be much "healthier" in that regard. I was always notified when I got a response from anyone.I opened a discussion yesterday. But, today, there's no way for me to continue or see that discussion anymore. Only the most current discussions are shown. And, there's no visible way for me to see any "old" ones. Thanks,Peter
Is the glacial pace of this forum and other sites like Facebook during the last several hours visible to others? We're seeing timeouts b all the time.Is this the result of another cyber attack launched from N. Korea? Spooky.
hello, can someone please explain if we can access our previous threads in the forums?we used to be able to see all the threads that we created and/or commentedthanks for any help, cheers, j
I have noticed that when I post a question or discussion item to one of Adobe's Forum Communities, I am identified as the author of my post by my actual legal name, not by my Screen Name that I set up in my profile when I registered. The same applies for the posts of others--they are identified by their legal names, not their screen names. What is the purpose of the Screen Name we set up when we registered, if not to shield the identity of the individual from others reading the post, if that person does not want to have their true identity publicly disclosed in, or publicly associated with the post? If I sign my post using my Screen Name, but then it is identified with my legal name when I post it, what good does it do to have a Screen Name? Is there some way to have the software not use my legal name, but identify my posts by my Screen Name only, if I so choose that option? (Of course, Administrators at Adobe can always (presumably) identify the (real nam
I have a lot of problems trying to communicate with the customer service support. I paid my subscription via paypal and was told that because of that there was a two day delay for me to use the apps. I asked them why they didnt say that upfront, the lady called sumola cant answered. I ask her can i then cancel the subscription, she then said that she cant do it as it is in process and if i want to she will need to escalate it. I said Forget it, and guess what, sumola went ahead to cancel my subscription!!! my goodness..it is so bizarre that i am wondering do they understand english??? or i am speaking gibberish that nobody knows what i am talking about. Totally lousy customer support.Anybody has similar experience? Coz the customer support is really so very lousy i am wondering is it me alone who is experience this or it is universal??
There are numerous posts showing under the "inbox and activity" tab.I don't know how to delete these and have no idea why they are there. Can someone explain this to me? I did go through the HELP pages and still don't understand. Thanks, vince
Has anybody noticed that there is a considerable delay in seeing posts in Creative cloud forum. I was posting some replies to questions and there were no replies when I started but after I have posted the reply, I notice that John Smith has already replied. This happened about 4 or 5 times today. Looking at the time of John's posts, some where 30 minutes before mine.So why is this delay? i try to avoid duplication of replies (unless the reply is different from what has already been posted) but it is just not working here.
Sometimes, instead of a simple discussion about the better is voting for or against. There is a lack of utility in this forum. Sometimes we do not have the strength to write the same thing and the same thing, just give my voice.Best Regards.

Hi GuysBefore the new forum site was introduced I could easily find a list of all my posts (which was helpful for looking back at old solutions). However now It seems a performance to search and find my old stuff (inbox and activity seem to have everyone else's activity). Out of interest, am I overlooking a button where all my old posts are listed?
The next/previous page buttons and the page numbers are missing in the Lightroom forum. I tried both Chrome and Safari (OS X 10.9.5), restarting both browsers:
frustrated and chose a poor communities name. how can I change this?
Had a search around the forum, and only results I could find were to email adobecare@adobe.com - however this email address bounces back as invalid. How do I make a complaint?Just had a really horrible experience with UK sales and what I guess is the India-based customer support - I have a bad feeling they know they can get away with treating customers horribly because there appears to be no way of complaining about them!
Hello. I would like to update my password for my Adobe forums account although no option shows up under my profile or avatar settings. How do I contact admin for help?Thank you.

Can't Reply to posts - javascript:void(0). Can't start new discussions. Only able to type in the Subject field; not in Message field. Disabled CSS and was able to type in message field but could not post to Forum. When I click Cancel, I get "Ooops! Jive page not found." I am using Chrome to post this. But I really prefer Firefox. And this isn't the only portion of Adobe's site that doesn't play nice in Firefox. I often click on site links that return blank pages in Firefox. Here's one. Sometimes it renders just fine, many times it does not.Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative CloudNancy O.
I'm not so much asking others as testing with this new post.Supposedly IE11 now has a different engine for a small minority (something like 10%) of testers, though I don't know if I'm one of them. I presume not.I noticed the following while editing this...When I insert an image, it still goes at the top of the post and I have to drag it into position. In other words, still bad behavior as in Windows 8.1.If I enter a line with a hyphenated word such as abc-def then come back to edit it, I see weirdness and unexpected cursor jumping, and even truncation (it was difficult to get this all typed).Basically, nothing's any better than it has been for a year or two now.Sigh.-Noel
Can anyone explain why, only in the Reader forum, I can only see posts up to yesterday evening and no new ones? It was fine yesterday when I last checked on this machine (running Firefox 33.0). I've logged out and back on. Cleared history, cookies...etc. and no change. Everything appears to be fine everywhere else though.
My personal email is showing up in comments, even though I've set it to not show up.How can I remedy this? Thanks.

How do I change the name on the profile? I was led to believe my screen name would be different than it is. It's really mega irritating that I can't change it.
Is anyone at liberty to comment on whether Adobe is still relying on the free bulletin-boartd support offered by Jive to the general public, as described in this five-year-old exchange on the freebie board?Bug in ForumService.getAttachmentsByMessageID() | Jive CommunityHard for Adobe to make a point for the Adobe subscription model when they don't (or didn't) pay Jive for a service contract for these forums.
