In a world where "time" is a form of currency... The amount of "time" I have lost as a result of this bug, I feel like some form of discount/compensation should be due. Being that I'm locked into an annual membership to use this program, and am paying money each month, I'm curious where discounts come into consideration?   If someone was being paid to create a project for a client, while using Premier... and the program constantly crashes due to internal bugs within the program... resulting in higher costs to the client. Hi.. wanted to find something in my apps that would help reduce video mp4 camera shake. I have the photography plan 20g but i am unable to fiind anything and i am unsure where to look. I went for help on the chat with a agent thing and was passed on to 3 agents before i was told by Mohammed that i was talking to accounts dept...never been so insulted. Any help would be appreciated Andrew.

@R Neil Haugen sadly, according to the link you posted, those forums are going away, like the After Effects one did, shortly after some influencers began badmouthing after effects, encoder, and premiere. I'm not sure if it's connected, but it is odd they're the only three that are going away. At the same time, Audition, a very old program that is arguably the least visibly worked on and used (I've never seen someone actively use it in a production besides cleaning up a clip here or there), remains. it's all very confusing and worrying that the places where users can communicate with the ones that make the programs are being removed.it suggests Adobe is considering sunsetting the software, or at the very least, is no longer open for development leads or bug fixes. As you said, these are user-to-user forums. So, lots of people talking about Resolve and what the gains are for RTX4090;  but every review that mentioned Premiere says there is no gains over 3090, and PP doesn't use the new features of the RTX 4090 line the dual encoders etc?  Or AV1 native support even. Does anyone know what the plans are for Adobe?  the Beta forum has not had much new stuff discussed at all.  I can't understand how there is so much hype for Resolve and almost no discussions are PP on this video card.

I cut a single clip of 5 second 1080p video and export it as an animated gif.  the file size rockets 20x to 233MBI re-import the gif, turn the quality down to the lowest setting, adjust the frame size down to 480p.  there are now only 5 frames of grainy quality image. I export the file. It takes 8 minutes.I inspect the file. it is now 334MB.Why is premiere such complete garbage? What is your excuse for this?thanks.

Hi, Another noob question; So when I'm filming myself with the main camera on my phone (not the selfie cam), is there an app that will allow me to see what I'm filming without having to look at the phone screen itself? Because it's obviously not practical sometimes.So an app to mirror onto my other phone (the one I'm not filming with) or laptop?Hopefully everyone can understand the question that I'm asking 😕😕Cheers 🍻

adobe is all a scam. biggest mistake i ever made joining adobe. ive used premiere pro for 2 years and now that they have updated ot, they took away the version compatible with my macbook and now i have to pay another thousand pounds just to continue using premiere. you are thieves and scam

Hello fellow Premiere Pro users, I am part of the team behind developing ChonkerKeys. We are working on something new and we want to get your opinion. ChonkerKeys is a macropad where you can configure individual keys to send shortcut keys. The keys are also removable. We have a use case for video conferencing, but we are looking to make them more useful for other things.I am currently working out layouts for Premiere Pro and for general computing use. Here are some computer rendered layouts. Which ones do you think is most useful to you? Are we missing any shortcuts that you use most frequently? Any comments?We are aware the keys are big, but it is easier for you to press the big buttons when placed further away from your keyboard, right?These are not for sale yet - we just want your opinion. What do you think?

I tried searching the forums for an answer, but couldn't find anything in specific. So, is there a way to switch Premiere back to the previous interface when creating new projects from this idiotic new way that Adobe has implimented? This is literally the worst change I have experienced from Adobe in quite a long time.

And I was so happy with Adobe products...oh, say? For the last 35years??!!! Do I smell planned obsolescence? What's next? Dare we embed all Adobe Suite products with a well-placed UNIX-based timeout function? And the timeless "A"shaped logo morphs into an awkward "U", with the tagline..."Upgrade Or Die!" at the bottom. PS-with all the sheer brillance at Adobe, I wouldn't have thought 'backwards compatibility' a lynch pin. Why not just ask "Adobe Sensei" for a viable solution...I mean, if it comes to that. I have an old Sony HDR-SR11 that produces .MTS files.  Sometimes (not always, or perhaps sometimes not as noticeable?) the audio is out of sync with the video when brought into Premiere.  I found i can re-encode with Handbrake to fix this. however, that's an extra step in a production process.  I'm wondering if there is a better option for a camera that doesn't produce this issue?  what should I be looking for to ensure PP can work w/o issue with the files a camera produces if i were to start shopping around? thanks!

Is any one still creating DVD and Blu-ray discs or are you uploading videos to Vimeo, Facebook, Youtube, etc. or using file transfer software like We Transfer, Dropbox,etc?

So if you want to see or ask for a feature, report an error or get functionality this community is just a fluff. You need to go to a terrible forum and hope the algorithm god go in your favor so your post gets up voted for attention, so unless it’s a critical error, chances are Adobe isn’t going to post mortem their UX. This is where you can see tons of issues that don’t get addressed.For example being able to use the middle mouse in Premiere, like all the other Adobe software… Tons of post and repeat posts on wanting this, only for Adobe to tell us most users don’t have a middle mouse button..... WTFThis is just one example others range from being able to make exact guides in AE without zooming to max and killing your eyeballs.Adobe needs to start to put improvement road maps out because this software is slowing becoming more and more trash.

Hello. Have you ever thought about automatic video editing? For example, we have 10 videos, and by analyzing them some sequence was gathered. Maybe based on the movement in the frame or their interestingness (some kind of machine learning) or something that would let us know that this part of the video should definitely be edited. Would it be interesting to hear your thoughts?

Thanks Bogden-Giurca for posting this and never mind those "community experts" acting like hall monitors checking for your bathroom pass. If you wouldn't have posted this here in the user to user forum, I would have never known that it was a "bug" and not a "feature" and that it has been reported to Adobe and that they are diligently working day and night to solve this annoyance! Does anyone else use Premiere to edit stills? I have Lightroom and Photoshop but I use Premiere to edit pictures when it involves cropping and masking. I'm sure it is just what you are used to but I find Premieres UI much easier than Photoshop.

So I have tried to embrace the "new" project workflow paradigm. It really doesn't work for me.In identifying why I hate to use it, I tried to filter out the number of little individual things that make it unpleasant and boil it down to a complaint. It took something that worked, put it in an overdressed UI and convoluted a straight forward process.PPro team, please quit assigning UI development to interns with the mandate to make it hip & cool, embrace all the new fads and use the "newest" trends. YUCH!

its kinda crazy right, thats why i didnt renew my subscription due to this , and when you try to google it, you cant find the solution because the admins locked it into a thread that doesnt exist anymore

So nice to pay to bang my head against a wall for a year and not use Adobe at all. FilmForth here I come.
