コンポーネント名周りの挙動について

I believe this behavior is to some extent as expected.

Once a name of a component's instance is manually changed (not its state), then this name can't be changed anymore by changing the name of the (master) component. This helps, when you want to easily identify specific elements within an artboard, by using the Layers panel, perhaps to select them.

But if you haven't changed these names intentionally/manually, then a consolidation of the name might have been forced by a certain workflow. E.g. ungrouping a Repeat Grid results in separate components, which are still valid (default) instances of the master component, but their names don't respond anymore to the master component. This action creates new 'real' instead of visually repeated but not actual instances of the component. Clearly, the name is being derived from the current master compinent's name and set accordingly. But it doesn't follow suit anymore.

So this is one of the possible reasons/causes for what you're experiencing.
