I recently upgraded from an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to Acrobat Reader 2020.When filling in a PDF Form, is there a way to turn off the blue field highlights? I've looked all over and can't find it anywhere.Thanks.

I have a PDF Fillable form that includes text fields, drop downs, and check boxes. These are used as check lists to complete loans. 1 person starts the form, they are able to fill everything in, check the boxes etc. They save this form to a folder. The 2nd person comes in and the form is no longer fillable. There are no signatures on the form, we just have them type their name. There are no security settings. Any ideas on how to fix this? We desperately need each person to be able to use the fillable fields after the previous person saves it.
Ich hab folgendes Problem mit meinem Adobe Acrobat Reader. Ich bekomme imme das Dokument mit seiner Beschnittgrenzen angezeigt. also der Beschnitt ist immer mit zu sehen. Egal was ich in den Vorreinstellungen änderer, die Ansicht bleibt gleich. Ich habe Acrobat bereits neu Installiert und das Problem bleibt weiterhin bestehen. Vielleicht kennt jemand das Problem und kann mir Helfen die Ansicht wieder auf die Standardt Ansicht zurück zu setzen, sodass ich den Beschnitt des Dokumentes nicht mit in der Ansicht habe, auser ich blende ihn geziehlt ein. Ich verwende die aktuellste Version vom Acrobat Reader und verwende einen Windows Laptop. Im Anhang befindet sich eine Darstellung eines A4 Dokumentes mit 10mm Anschnitt und meine Einstellungen bei Acrobat. I have the following problem with my Adobe Acrobat Reader. I had to download the reader for a document that specified it. Now, every time I try to open a document, it is opening in Adobe's reader instead of the one I have set as default. I have checked all the settings in apps (Windows 11) and they are all set to my preferred reader except for Adobe protocol which I assume by the name is specific to adobe.And even though nowhere else in the machine shows Adobe for anything related to my files, when I click a pdf file, it opens in Adobe. Why is that and how do I prevent it? It is beyond irritating when I have filled in the blanks and added the exceptions to have some app decide to override my preferences.
I'm trying to download Acrobat Reader and am having issues. An online notary service I'm planning to use requires "Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Standard, or Acrobat Professional with JavaScript and browser display enabled to access the digital certificate electronically attached to your notarized record." It then gives a line to download Adobe reader for free and says "You must have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader version 6.x or newer." My Operating System is Windows 10. I have an Adobe acct. for PhotoShop and LightRoom. I don't see an option for the free Reader version of Acrobat, just buttons for Try (7 day trial) and Buy for Acrobat Pro. There are no options for Reader or a free "lite" version. I wouldn't be using Acrobat enough to buy it, I could likely "Try" and do what I need during the trial period, but I'd like to be able to have access to the free Reader edition. how can I highlight text in acrobat reader using keyboard commands. (Note, I am assistive technology user (i.e. screenreader = JAWS). Alternatively, are there any keyboard commands to highlight text.

Download a pdf file. Adobe shows document is open when cursor hovers over adobe icon in taskbar. But adobe will not open when I click on the icon. Even without a document, adobe will not open from anywhere on computer. Go to "All Apps" double click on adobe and it seems that it opened, but it doesn't. Again, it shows open in taskbar but can't get it to open in a windows tab. The only way to open adobe is to click on the icon, then go to another window, shrink it to half screen, then windows shows all the other open tasks and adobe can be selected. Then it will fill second half of screen and can be maximized to full screen. Once done, other documents can be opened. Right now, hovering over the icon shows that two documents are open but I can't get either to go full screen unless I do the half screen thing above.
I have a problem creating a link to a page in the same document. After selecting 'Go to a page view' in theCreate link dialog box, the window in which I used to select the page number and view magnification doesn't open. Instead a pop-up appears, telling me to use the scrollbars, mouse and zoom tools to select the target view.

Möchte einige verschiedene Dinge "Hervorheben". Gestern konnt ich dies noch, plötzlich muss ich nach jeder Aktion mit dem Tool "Hervorheben" dieses erneut auswählen. Dies sollte aber aktiviert sein bis ich es manuell wieder deaktivere.

When viewing pay slips in Oracle Fusion the PDF preview window only shows half the page by default (see attached). Is there a setting to maximize the browser preview? Already tried removing all Adobe installations including browser extensions using the cleaner tool and reinstalling. Tried different browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) and played around with extension settings but no luck. Not sure if this is the right forum to post, but any help is greatly appreciated. After updating to reader 23.8.20555.0, Adobe will cash when trying to open and fill out a writeable PDF. I have found a temporary workaround by opening Reader first then opening the PDF, but that does not work for everyone. Looking to see if anyone else has an idea on how to fix this or if Adobe is work on a fix for this issue. Downloaded the latest version of adobe acrobat today on our PC and my iPhone trying to open a simple PDF. We get the same message on both devices (see attachment). Any insight? Contacting the company who owns the PDF we are trying to open would be extremely difficult so we are hoping it's a Adobe issue.
Hello,I use Google Chrome and the latest Acrobat DC reader on a two year old laptop. There has never been any kind of issues sending, receiving, printing or opening a PDF until recently. I either download or scan documents into a pdf file then attached at the bottom of my emails inside Gmail. I've done this for years with no issues. I can view, open and print with no problems on my end. I have multiple recipients tell me they only get blank pages on their end. I've tried removing and reloading the software, checked for updates, unchecked security boxes inside the software as well as contacted Adobe customer care who remotely connected to my computer, they found everything seemed normal but couldn't explain. Lastly, when a recipient sends my email back with the same PDF, I also only get blank pages of the document. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2019.010.20098. Starting yesterday, when I attempt to perform an advanced search in a local document library, the search box appears, but I can't enter text. The cursor blinks, but when I attempt to enter text, nothing is displayed. When I try to perform a regular SEARCH (CNTL F), the search box is displayed, but the same problem occurs...nothing appears in the search box when I type.I went into EDIT/PREFERENCES/SEARCH and selected PURGE CACHE CONTENTS, but the problem persists.Thanks!Suzanne

Ok, I don't know if anyone has had this sort of problem before with my old laptop while using Windows 10 I could convert any file to PDF including Notepad, when I open Notepad it would give me the option of choosing to convert the file to PDF and save it to my desktop. Now with the new laptop I download the Acrobat PDF viewer and is total garbage when I open Notepad write something on it and I want to save it as PDF doesn't give the option. I tried contacting Windows they said oh we are so sorry but the only workaround for that is that you put your printer as a Windows printer and then you can save as a file from Notepad and convert it to PDF. Why in the heck would I want to go through all of that hassle!!! Does anyone here have a solution to this problem?Thanks, Carmen
Hi all, I am having a strange issue when sending files by email from Adobe Reader DC. I click the send file button, an Outlook window opens with my file attached but if I add text to the body of the email and send I find that in my outbox and at the recipients end the body of the email is blank (the attachment is correctly delivered though).Am I doing something wrong? Thanks
