Acrobat Reader

How do I open documents in separate windows in the Adobe Reader redesign? I'm really liking the redesign otherwise, but this is a key feature.

When viewing tick boxes in adobe some of the boxes are ticked while others are not however when you view them in a web browser such as chrome they view as expected, is there a setting i need to change to allow this to show correctly?     

I have a bunch of pdf's with title pages but they want it printed without anything behind a double sided page.  I figured out how to install a blenk page behind the first which will fix this request but it keeps prompting me to save which i dont need to because I'm batch printing.  I have a hundred or so documents to print and have to sit there and answer yer or no after each document prints.  I'd settle for an option that repeat for all documents box after the initial prompt.  

Hello All I am having this error "Acrobat quit unexpectedly". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat and I have used the Adobe cleaner to uninstall it as well. Still this error keeps coming back. Windows 10 (19041.508)newly installed Acrobat reader DC 2020.012.20043 When i click on any hyperlink (tried several PDFs), nothing happens.hyperlinks in same PDF on android tablet works.mouse pointer does change to hand with pointer indicating a hyper link. I've went to trust manager and updated trust lists, allowed all pdf files to access all websites, allow opening of non-PDF file attachments with external apps. in security (enhanced), I've disabled protective mode at start up. I've disabled enhanced security, i automatically trust documents with valid certificats and from my win os security zones. I've added website url which hyper link refers, location path where PDF is saved as well as the full path to PDF itself to allowed list and still none of the links work.

Wenn ich bei Adobe Reader DC zwei Dokumente öffne, erscheinen die beiden Dateien oben in der Leiste und kann zwischen ihnen hin und herschalten. Ich möchte jedoch diese beiden Dokumente gleichzeitig nebeneinander sehen. In anderen Versionen geht das mit der Funktion Fenster/Anordnen/Nebeneinander. Die ist bei DC zwar auch ausgewiesen, aber wenn ich das anklicke, passiert gar nichts. Im Handbuch steht natürlich auch nichts dazu - sehr enttäuschend.Wenn das nicht funktionieren sollte, kann man es dann so einrichten, dass mehrere angeklickte Pdf-Dateien in eigenen Programmfenstern öffnen? So funktioniert das bei Adobe Acrobat X Pro, denn ich sonst benutze.

I have automatic update and currently showing 2023.001.20177. I just checked my Epson printer for updates and it seems current.I tried several different selections to print.

HiI'm having trouble with some PDF files when I open them and the text is all funny and weird characters. Im currently running Adobe version 9, I tried uninstalling 9 and installing 10 but still showing the weird characters this only happens on selected PDF files. I tried uninstalling all version re installing adobe reader and even deleted the folders from my Local settings and application data but still getting problem. I installed fox it reader which shows the PDF files no problem could someone help me?Thanks

I had no problems printing PDFs on my Windows 10 desktop using Adobe Reader. I left the computer at a shop for a different issue and when i got it back every time I try to print a PDF file I get an Adobe error message.  “The document could not be printed.” " If you continue to have this issue reach out to Adobe support". This has worked well for several years. Has there been an Adobe and/or a MicroSoft update that makes this happen? Any quick solution?  Thanks Ron   

Hi is there any option to set to opening another pdf document (1 is opened and i opening another one) in new window instead of opening in new tab in same window?

As with title, when I am in fullscreen with Acrobat on its own desktop I am experiencing a problem. Whenever I try to change tab and especially close a tab by clicking the x button the toolbar drops down to obscure the tabs forcing me to slowly, like a thief in the night, creep up on the x unawares and swiftly deliver the killing blow. Is there a setting that enables me to keep the Mac toolbar at the top of the screen always visible in fullscreen mode? Thanks,

Hi there, I have been working for 2 days on a lengthy and complex document review of c. 705 pages involving lots of highlighting of text and comments bubbles. Text is OCR recognised. I was up to about page 148 when the highlighting started going wonky (ie not highlighting the lines of text that I wanted it to) and a message came up "expected a dict object". I clicked ok and the message went away. I then deleted the wonky highlighting on the page (right clicked so the highlighting was highlighted, then selected delete) I was working on to start again highlighting the page. I then saved the document.  After I saved it, I saw that Acrobat deleted the previous 147 pages that I had been working on and finished!!! I thought there may be a glitch in the programme as it so often freezes, so I shut down the document and reopened it but have the same issue. Does anyone know a way of retrieving the deleted pages???? I have tried looking in the Acrobat temp files folder, but it's empty (

Hello!I've been having a problem with the highlighter function for some time now. It doesn't work anymore. And just not with the Arobat Reader version for iOS.I can rule out that it is the file because I can edit the file on the PC as usual.When I select the text marker function and want to mark text, only a small rectangle appears that works like a magnifying glass.

Hi, I have an issues where it looks like adobe opens up another screen in the background what runs in Windows 7.The laptop i'm running is on the newest Windows 11 version.We've already reinstalled Adobe and als factory reset the entire laptop.Als the security options are turned off because that mostly fixes adobe issues. Is there someone that also has this issue or knows how to solve it.

We recently rolled out an autoupdate version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a few testclients. Before that we used fixed versions where the update feature was disabled via the FeatureLockDown settings.After the installation of the autoupdate version the registry keys needed for autoupdate are all set to 1 (as intended):HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\bUpdaterHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices\bUpdaterHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\bUpdaterHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices\bUpdater And this works fine for the first update. The reader updates itself to the newest version after some time. The problem is that the bUpdater values are reset to 0 after the update, thus preventing future autoupdates.Is there a setting in the Adobe Reader to prevent this behaviour?

Help! I am completing a "fillable smart form" that has a "prepare for e file" button which flattens the form, making it uneditable. I've completed a number of these forms already, but now am having a new issue:  "An error occurred during the submit process. The network connection timed out trying to reach the server." I have googled and tried every option I can find and nothing helps. I've deleted and reloaded Reader. I've checked settings. I've restarted multiple times. I tried using another form and had the same problem, so it doesn't appear to be the form. I've checked my network connections. All is well in connection land, except when trying to submit these forms. Can anyone shed some light? TIA 

Just a few weeks ago, I was asked to create a signature to sign a document, now I can't send any emails without granting access each time and typing in a password. I tried to remove Digital IDs from keychain and got this error 'Removing a digital ID is only permitted if the ID was created by Adobe Reader or Acrobat version 8.0 or later." I'm on a mac and browser is Safari. I tried to get help from Adobe Tech Support but they said they couldn't help because it is a free program, and that's what the forums are for, and also that I should contact Apple. But the signature was created within Acrobat DC version 19.12 the latest version - not a version from years ago, and I am trying to delete the ID from within that same program.I want to completely delete my Digital ID, remove it from my keychain, and be able to send emails etc without getting the pop-up window to allow access to the keychain. Add file storage in Adobe Acrobat Pro gets stuck loading. This is a fresh install on a brand new laptop (Windows 11). I have rebooted laptop and also uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled Acrobat. I can't access Adobe Cloud or OneDrive/SharePoint. Any thoughts? 

With the free version on Mac, I used to open several files, read it, eventualy emend and, once completed, register and drag from the icon PDF near the name of the file in the Top Tab (where now i can see a star) and drop to an email or a folder or a whatsapp windows, so that the file goes directly there. With last updates i cant do this and I have to remember where the file originally was to open the folder and drag and drop from there or, if i cant find, to register the file in a new position and duplicate it. Anyone has an idea on how drag the file directly? Hope I explained the problem

Adobe Reader won't launch. I don't know if it's related to a recent Microsoft update, but I've deleted and then downloaded and reinstalled the program and it shows up in my installed apps page, but still it won't open pdf documents that I have on my laptop. This is a big problem because I receive bills from service providers in pdf form. Help, please!
