Acrobat Reader

Muy buenas, me gustaría que me dieran la solución a un problema que llevo tiempo teniendo, en el lector PDF de Adobe Acrobat siempre que carga un PDF de alrededor de unas mil paginas o mas, se comienza a congelar, tanto que se tarda de 1 a 4 minutos en cargar. Si pueden me encantaría que hubiera alguna configuración o algo para eso 

Hi, I was wondering whether it is possible to create a fillable PDF that has a draw signature field, and that when the user selects the field, it will automatically prompt them to draw their signature. I know you can do Fill and Sign on  Adobe Reader DC, but some of my users aren't that tech savvy. I want to make it as simple as possible, so all they need to do is tap the box in the PDF and fill it out.

Hi all,  I recently lost my Mac laptop and it had so much valuable information on it. However, I did not have find my icloud activated so I am unable to track it the traditional way. I am now going through all the connected apps and trying to figure out a way to locate it. I see it is one of the two devices registered with my Adobe Account. I'm wondering if there is a way to track the IP address , whether personally or with the help of an expert. Please let me know I am desperate to recuperate my information !

Al abrir un pdf con el programa Acrobat los campos de información se ven vacios, pero si abro el mismo documento con un navegador, el chrome por ejemplo, si que se hace visible la información contenida es esos campos de datos. ¿Qué puede estar pasando?

I have just got a new PC and I have installed Adobe Reader on it but I cannot find the options that I had set on my previous PC (running the same version).What I am looking for is:Open new document in another window (instead of a Tab)Toolbar icons for the various Zoom settings (Zoom page, Zoom width, zoom +/- etc.)Completely close the sidebars and keep them closed whenever I open Acrobat. It seems I have the same version running on 2 different PCs (one is Windows 10, the other is 11) but they are presenting a completely different user interface!!Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciatedPhilipJ 

Ich hätte gerne meine Lesezeichen wieder im linken Fenster. Kann ich die Einstellungen im Adobe Reader 23.xx entsprechend verändern?

Seit kurzem verschwindet immer die obige Menüleiste, wenn ich ein Dokument öffne. Kann ich auch nicht wieder herstellen. Muss dann immer der Taskmanager öffnen von Windows, um das Dokument zu schließen.Es füllt den gesamten Bildschirm aus,auch die Windows Taskleiste ist weg.Das Ganze passiert ohne Zutun nach wenigen Sekunden nach Öffnen eines PDF.Habe deinstalliert und neu installiert, dasselbe.

Hii set the  the acrobat reader 64 bit to be  our default app for pdf files we exporetd the defaultassociations .xmlthe line for the PDF is Association Identifier=".pdf" ProgId="Acrobat.Document.DC" ApplicationName="Adobe Acrobat"/but every time we open a pdf file we have to  choose which is the default PDF softwarewhat are we doing worng ?

I have a PDF that I want to offer as a free download on my website.  When I convert it to an HTML it's shows up as: file:///F:/realtor%20remedies/downloads/Testing%20the%20web%20convertervfilters.htmI cannot share this.  How can I make it a live URL that others can click on and download?Thank you.

I'm trying extract the msi to do a silent install of the latest Reader.  I've downloaded:AcroRdrDCx642300120143_MUI.exeAcroRdrDCx642300620360_MUI.exe But when do the extraction (either with 7zip or the command line switches) I end up with AcroPro.msi instead of AcroRead.msi. What am I doing wrong? Has there been a change to the system that I need to know about?

I am looking to disable all options to sign in and also to prohibit the use of Adobe Document Cloud.  I have followed this community article but have not been successful in preventing sign in to Acrobat Reader. HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServicesDWORD "bUpdater", Value = "0" 

My organization is looking into deploying Acrobat Reader via winget to Shared PCs. A normal, uncustomized install works great. Sadly, we have not been able to successfully apply our custom .mst to get the installation to work. This is the command we're trying:  winget install Adobe.Acrobat.Reader.64-bit --override "/sAll /rs /l /msi /qn TRANSFORMS=C:\Custom.mst" --force --accept-package-agreements --accept-source-agreements  Sadly, the custom .mst settings are not being applied. If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.Also, if there are any .admx files that can be imported into Intune, we could avoid the custom .mst altogether. I have upgrade all my pc from Reader x86 to Reader x64 2023.006.20360.but now, when i open some pdf files, I have this error (sorry, in french)The Instruction at [..]referenced memory at [...].  The memory could not be written.  Click on OK to terminate the program If I click OK, it looks like i can continue working with the pdf file. This PDF came from my INtranet, I click on the link and Edge ask me if I want to open or save it. If i clik open, the file will be temporarily in AppData\Local\Temp\MicrosoftEdgeDownloads, the file opens and after few seconds, the error appears. If I save it, I have no error like this. the same thing happens if I open a pdf attached in an outlook message, but If I Save it, its ok. So I made some test, it seems that Protected View mode is causing this.  If a disable only Protected View (Protected Mode still enable), I have no more error when I open a PDF file that I didn't save before.My

How do I make this pop up stop appearing every time I open a PDF? It is very frustrating and there appears to be no selection within preferences to discontinue this notification.Thanks,

Hello. While trying to add text box comments at the top of pdfs in adobe reader on my iPad  (picture enclosed) , I am unable to click the confirm button after writing the comment because there is a box in the way that I cannot move. I only have this problem when using reader, I haven't seen this box on another app. I'm sure that there is an easy fix to this, but I can't work it out and haven't been able to find anything online from searching. thanks 

The All tools menu on the left side appear by default when I open any PDF files. It uses up 1/3 of space and I have to manuall close it every time. It's very frustrating and annoying. Is there any way to disable it from appearing by default?

Hello,I have been having a problem with printing documents in Adobe Acrobat on my Mac. When I click "Print," it tells me that it couldn't print my document because there were no pages selected to print. I looked up what to do and was told to disable some security thing in Adobe's settings. That worked as a temporary fix, but now it's not working anymore!! Please help.

Hello!, I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how can I install Acrobat Reader in a different drive than just directly in C:. It goes by default there whenever I try to download it from the site, and there's no option anywhere to choose where it will install the program. I need to change the drive cause my C: is too full and dont have much else to delete from it, but have plenty of space in D:. Is it possible somehow to install the program in a different drive than c:? Please help!Thanks, Marcus Bale

Defaults to printing both sides, if I select multiple docs to print at once, only first one will be single-sided etc.  How do I turn this off so it never prints both sides unless I change the setting?

Hi all, I have a conforming writer and I want to generate password-protected documents using PDF-1.6 and AESV2.When I look at the Encryption Key Algorithm in PDF32000_2008.pdf it always starts from a password string made of up to 32 bytes.However, in the dialog box I present to the user when saving, I can expect any unicode character.Should I restrict the user to compose their password only from plain ASCII characters?I expect that some other "common" characters (e.g. the euro sign) might also be accepted, but in this case it is unclear how to encode them in a byte string (e.g. using PdfDocEncoding ?) for further processing.Can anybody help me or point me to a specification other than PDF32000_2008.pdf?
