I have upgrade all my pc from Reader x86 to Reader x64 2023.006.20360.but now, when i open some pdf files, I have this error (sorry, in french)The Instruction at [..]referenced memory at [...]. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program If I click OK, it looks like i can continue working with the pdf file. This PDF came from my INtranet, I click on the link and Edge ask me if I want to open or save it. If i clik open, the file will be temporarily in AppData\Local\Temp\MicrosoftEdgeDownloads, the file opens and after few seconds, the error appears. If I save it, I have no error like this. the same thing happens if I open a pdf attached in an outlook message, but If I Save it, its ok. So I made some test, it seems that Protected View mode is causing this. If a disable only Protected View (Protected Mode still enable), I have no more error when I open a PDF file that I didn't save before. My

Hello. While trying to add text box comments at the top of pdfs in adobe reader on my iPad (picture enclosed) , I am unable to click the confirm button after writing the comment because there is a box in the way that I cannot move. I only have this problem when using reader, I haven't seen this box on another app. I'm sure that there is an easy fix to this, but I can't work it out and haven't been able to find anything online from searching. thanks
The All tools menu on the left side appear by default when I open any PDF files. It uses up 1/3 of space and I have to manuall close it every time. It's very frustrating and annoying. Is there any way to disable it from appearing by default?
Hello,I have been having a problem with printing documents in Adobe Acrobat on my Mac. When I click "Print," it tells me that it couldn't print my document because there were no pages selected to print. I looked up what to do and was told to disable some security thing in Adobe's settings. That worked as a temporary fix, but now it's not working anymore!! Please help.
Hello!, I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how can I install Acrobat Reader in a different drive than just directly in C:. It goes by default there whenever I try to download it from the site, and there's no option anywhere to choose where it will install the program. I need to change the drive cause my C: is too full and dont have much else to delete from it, but have plenty of space in D:. Is it possible somehow to install the program in a different drive than c:? Please help! Thanks, Marcus Bale
Defaults to printing both sides, if I select multiple docs to print at once, only first one will be single-sided etc. How do I turn this off so it never prints both sides unless I change the setting?
Hi all, I have a conforming writer and I want to generate password-protected documents using PDF-1.6 and AESV2.When I look at the Encryption Key Algorithm in PDF32000_2008.pdf it always starts from a password string made of up to 32 bytes. However, in the dialog box I present to the user when saving, I can expect any unicode character.Should I restrict the user to compose their password only from plain ASCII characters?I expect that some other "common" characters (e.g. the euro sign) might also be accepted, but in this case it is unclear how to encode them in a byte string (e.g. using PdfDocEncoding ?) for further processing. Can anybody help me or point me to a specification other than PDF32000_2008.pdf?

Ive had this issue with acrobat even after fresh install and restart. I have about 10 seconds before this pop up comes on and glitches consistently, Requiring an end task with task manager. Could do with a solution, using the chrome extension instead now as that works.

Hi, We've got some legacy software that is hard coded to run with the 32bit version of Reader DC. We're finding that our software is automatically upgrading itself to the 64bit version, which causes our legacy software to fail. Is there any way to disable this automatic update? I've tried disabling the AdobeARMService, and it hasn't helped. Thanks
When I receive an email with a pdf document attached, I am able to open it and save it, but I cannot copy it to insert it into a Word document. How do I do that. I used to be able to do so, but after a couple of updates, I am not able to copy pdf documents. Thank you.

Hi all Anybody have any experience with the file open plugin? Today I had to do a fresh install of acrobat reader and the plugin has stopped working. When I try to open a pdf with fileopen drm on it, instead of opening the pdf it will open a browser page prompting me to install the fileopen plugin. I have installed and tried to open the pdf again with the same result. I have tried multiple fresh installs of acrobat reader and the plugin, tried using the fileopen plugin remover provided on the website, running as administrator and various compatibility settings. I have contacted tech support of the company that provided the pdfs and they have no idea. I remember I had this issue a couple of years ago and it drove me crazy and unfortunately I can't remember how I solved it. Iirc is was a relatively simple fix too. Unfortunely this seems to be a fairly obscure plugin and there isn't a whole lot of information availible out there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.&nbs
Hi,I am a blogger, I need to convert some PDF files into JPG for my Jobs related blog. But there is no such option to conver PDF to JPG in Acrobat Reader. Kindly guide me how can i convert these.
On my disk, the ARM folder (/ProgramData/Adobe/ARM) is taking up almost 20GB of space! This isn't too great, because my PC has an already very small amount of C drive space, and the fact that a folder I never even knew I had is taking up a fifth of my total space isn't particularly great. I would just like to know if it is safe to delete this ARM folder, because this is taking up more space than any of the users of this device are on their own. If I can't delete the whole folder, are there any large folders in the ARM folder, related Adobe files, or large cache files that I can get rid of? My PC is coming to the end of its life, and I don't think that this 18 gigabyte folder is helping it at all. Many thanks.

I've noticed that since the Adobe Acrobat Reader v2023.001.20064 upgrade, the 'Remember current state of tools pane' not working. Each time I close the tools pane, and then select the 'Remember current state of tools pane' option, and close Adobe, then next time I open that or any other PDF the Tools pane shows up. The option seems to be broken, and not persisting. Has anyone else found that to be the case, and is there a working solution to the problem?
Adobe Reader DC - does anyone know how to get the snap shot / camera tool back into the tool menu?

While I was troubleshooting another issue with Acrobat Reader DC 64-bit, I ended up uninstalling, using the cleanup tool and then I installed the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC. Needless to say that this did not help the problem I was troubleshooting, BUT.......After installation I was presented with the new Acrobat interface. At the time, because I was involved in troubleshooting the other problem, I turned this new interface off.Later I decided to look into the new interface deeper. As I was trying to make up my mind as to which interface will help me more, I was switching back and forth between the New Interface and the Classic Interface.A few days later I decided to go with the "newest and greatest". So, while in the Classic Interface, I dropped the View menu and, to my dismay, the "Enable new Acrobat Reader" menu item was nowhere to be found on the View menu.Where did "Enable new Acrobat Reader" menu option go?Why did it go away? How do I get it back, possibly without going ag
Hi,I have been struggling with this issue for a while now. I have a MacBook Pro and I am having issues with printing any kind of pdf on Adobe Reader I just get the same notice error each time "this document could not be printed, there were no pages selected to print" and I can't really understand why that is. I have tried several solutions I could find but none of them seem to work. So far I have tried: printing the pdf as an image, updating printer drivers, reinstalling Adobe, updating my Mac software. I have tried a few others to but I can't remember them from the top of my head. Please help! Thanks,Aneesa
