Acrobat Reader

Hi im runninng adobe acrobat reader in a virtual enviorment with roaming profiles. In the prefrences section each user seems to have different setting configured which sometimes causes some blurriness on files. Is there a way to force all users to have the same prefrences setting? The setting im mainly concerned about are the rendering setting under page display. It seems like theres a appdata file maybe somehwere that im not finding that has this infomration in it so i can push the same settings to all users.

When I view a pdf in 2 page view (not scrolling) in full screen mode there's a dotted line separating each of the pages. Is there any way to view in full screen mode without the dotted line? It's easy to do in reader mode, but I can't seem to do it in full screen mode.

My reader isn't opening, requires admin; pdf icons don't do anything; no email opening capability?  Un-installed & re-installed, repaired install, & did another manual update....still doesn't work.  Microsoft Windows 10 (64); should i used app from microsoft? I usually don't have troubel with Adobe stand alone??? help?

Hello. I recently finished a storybook with illustrations, made it in LibreOffice and exported it as a PDF. Then I opened it with Adobe Acrobat Reader, but I was wondering if it´s legal to do this, because I don´t know if Adobe Acrobat Reader can be used for commercial purposes. I would appreciate if someone could clarify this for me. Thank you!

I did the trial for Adobe cloud so i could scan on my phone and transfer to my laptop to access the scanned PDFs. However, I canceled the account on my phone but on my laptop's adobe account it remained active and charged my bank. I've been messaging and trying to use the customer service on Adobe but all could not refund nor cancel. I finally founda  service number and said they can't refund me but can cancel it in march? so no charges until march, but all the payments I have made are forever gone and unable to be reimbursed. 

I just loaded free Adobe reader to use Identrust cert to sign doc.  Identrust directions say go to "tools" on upper left of Adobe screen and sellect certificates.  Well, there is no "tools" on the upper left of my screen.  IF I go to "use certificate", all the commands are in grey and cannot be selected.  Identrust was stumped, said they had never seen an Adobe screen like mine.  Mine has Menu, home and form on the upper left.  Anyone kow how to access certifications for signing?  Last thing, when I click in the active sign block, nothing happensexcept it changes colors.  I did check that the certification was accessable and it is good to go.ThankMark

For dyslexic readers the default font used in most academic articles (times new roman) is perhaps the most difficult font for reading.  It would be a huge boon for dylexic readers if they were able to diplay the article in a different font - even if it messes up the spacing / formatting of the document.   Please consider adding this as a feature.  Thank you.

Why does the Adobe Reader version 2022.003.20281 not search Adobe Stickies features of added notes and text in PDFs? Search function should include search of text on "AdobeStickies" inside PDF form data fields / boxes that were too small to display all of the data entry required for those fields/boxes but it doesn't work even on one 2 page PDF let alone when 34 multiple page PDFs are opened together as one PDF for quick reference later. Search function in the Max & PC versions should also search text in Adobe notes attached to those same PDFs.

Wenn ich ein PDF unterschreiben will bietet der Reader mir immer eine Auswahl der aktuell im Windows Zertifikat Stor hinterlegten User Zertifikate an. Das geschieht auch wenn nur ein einziges da ist. Ich habe nur eine Stelle gefunden (Einstellungen \ Unterschriften \ Identitäten \ Verwendungsoptionen) mit der ich manuell ein Zertifikat zum Unterschreiben auswählen kann. Aber selbst mit einem Ausgewähltem wird beim Unterschreiben immer noch erneut nach einem Zertifikat gefragt.   Kann man ein bestimmtes Zertifikat (am besten automatisiert per Script oder GPO) als Default hinterlegen damit man das nicht ständig bei jeder Unterschrift auswählen muss ? 

I cannot open pdf files on my 16tb USB drive but they open fine on my 4tb and 1tb hard drives.  I have three drives attached to my notebook, and can open SOME small pdf files on my 16Tb USB connected drive but have no issue with my USB connected 4TB seagate external drive with the same files copied from the same locations on my C drive [1Tb internal hard drive] so what is the problem?The file is obviously okay, since if copied from the 1Tb drive to the 4TB drive it opens fine, but will not open on the 16Tb drive. If I copy the working copy to the 16Tb drive it is reported as damaged, yet is fine in the 4Tb drive I copied it from and in the original 1Tb drive I copied it to the 4Tb drive from, so it doesn't make sense to me.  Is there something I need to do to the 16Tb drive before Acrobat will work in it?  One 18,000Kb PDF manual opens fine on the 16TB drive from a subdirectory folder and when copied from that subdirectory to the main directory also works fine, but large

Hello, My laptop w has always opened Acrobat reader easily till recently, Suddenly PDFs refuse to open, been using windows 10 for some time. 

I am trying to open a secured PDF from TechStreet.  It requires Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and a PlugIn.  I am a Mac user.  I have worked with TechStreet and they have walked me through everything.  Unfortunately, I go to Preferences, General, Application Start Up and unclick the certified plug-in as required, but it continues to state that the certified mode is still on even though the it is clearly not checked.  At this point TechStreet informed me to contact Adobe.  I receive the following message every time I try to install: “FileOpenInstaller-B987.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. I've shut down adobe.  Restarted.  I've shut down the computer and restarted.  Nothing seems to work.  Can you help? Thanks!

I am looking for the solution to Adobe reader "unable to find suitable font for ISO-8859-8 encoding" error.  I have seen a link to the solution for this issue posted on this site (https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat-Reader/ISO-8859-8-encoding-error-Message-when-opening-a-pdf-document/m-p/9609004#M36246).  However, when I click on the link it takes me to a generic adobe.com forum home page with no solution listed.  I have tried on Chrome and IE, but the same thing happens as the link to the solution is apparently broken.  Please advise. 

I want to uninstall Adobe Acrobat as the current installation is unable to print. I kept getting error 'FullTrustNotifier.exe' is not marked for installation. Please help.

I figured out how to stop CC from starting at start up but there are still so many Adobe apps running at start up and creating a huge lag! Adobe Updater Notifications for Adobe Creative Cloud Adobe Reader and Manager   Please help. I've unchecked everything in Creative Cloud but these services still launch at start up!

Hi all,Every time I open a .pdf file from windows explore (windows 7.0 sp1, browser firefox). This annoying splash screen pops up, that is the "getting started splash screen" opens. How can I hide this splash screen, every time I open a .pdf file on my p.c. Thank you.Rick Ambrosino

Hi I am working on a windows 7 computer the install fails with 1625 originally the program was reader was broken it only displayed gray screens from pdf files. i then tried to remove it and ran into reinstall hell. first it would not uninstall the uninstaller would abort. other programs uninstalled so my thought is the installer engine is working. i then found an adobe cleanup tool for removing acrobat reader. I've downloaded Adobe Reader DC from the Adobe website on my iMac and I'm unable to see the snapshot tool. Where can I find it? I don't see the edit option too. 

Possuo um certificado digital NeoId em nuvem, com toda a cadeia de certficados instalada (desde a Autoridade Certificadora Raiz Brasileira v5 até meu certificado pessoal).Quando assino um documento utilizando este certificado, já aparece que a assinatura é inválida porque o documento foi alterado ou corrompido após a assinatura. Não é do certificado que ele reclama, mas sim diz que o documento foi alterado após a assinatura.Consigo utilizar este certificado para assinar PDFs com outros softwares (inclusive o Acrotab Reader aceita estas assinaturas), mas se assino no Acrobat Reader sempre ocorre este problema.Alguem sabe como corrigir isto?

Hi everyone, I've got a problem, with a large pdf document, about 70 mb and 450 pages. It is displayed correctly and in its entirety in most other pdf software, in Adobe however, only 110 pages are displayed, as if the rest didn't exist.Can anybody help me with this?THanks und Viele GrüßeSimon
