HelloThere was an error opening this document. There was a problem reading this document (57)
Adobe Reader X 10.1.1 is not working correctly on my computer which is running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I have several symptoms.1. If I am able to open a pdf file on my hard drive I get this error message: “Verify operation failed.” I hit OK and can read the document fine.2. Many pdf files on my hard drive will not open. I get the error message: “There was an error opening this document. There was a problem reading this document (57).” I doubt the document is corrupt because I can email them to my coworkers and they can open it.3. I can open any document inside of Internet Explorer 8. I get the error message: “There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again (0:104)” It wasn’t running and trying again won’t help. Usually I download the file and try to open it and if I can't I email to a co-worker and continue on. But now I need to fill out a
I'm having issues with some computers that we have uninstalled Adobe Reader X and installed the latest Adobe reader DC. Error reads. There was an error opening this document. There was a problem reading this document (57). I have repaired, uninstalled reinstalled. ran the Adobe cleanup utility, reboot, reinstall.I have deleted registry key hkey local user/softwear/adobe/ version 10 folder. I'm not finding much useful data on this and looking for a solution before we have to simply reimage these pc's. Computers that have not had Adobe Reader X previously installed do not have this issue leading me to think it is something residual.
I have been using Acobat X Pro for many years. Recently I tried to install Acrobat Reader DC and it removed Acrobat X Pro from pdf file association without any notification. I uninstalled Acrobat Reader DC but still cannot restore my pdf file association to Acrobat X Pro.I have committed to never install Acorbat Reader again on this laptop but how do I restore pdf file association to Acrobat X Pro?
I'm not sure what happened with the newest update, however, it now takes up to 10 minutes to save one file onto my computer. Is there an internal issue that I need to resolve? I don't think there is because prior to the latest update I never had an issue to with Reader. Now, it is one of those programs I dread to use, and unfortunately, I spend almost $70 per month on Adobe products so I'm kind of stuck using it as my default. Any help available?

Hi all,I have a printing problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader for some documents when I use the "Print as image" option. The more pages the document has, the paler the text becomes. The first few pages of the document print fine and then from page 5 onwards, the writing becomes increasingly pale. This is not a printer problem, I have tried on several printers of different brands and drivers that do the same thing. If I print only page 5, it prints correctly, so it is not a problem with the document. If I print without the "Print as image" option the whole document prints correctly. Has anyone experienced this problem? Is there a solution? I cannot disable the "Print as image" option, as it is the default option used for the whole company and many other documents print correctly.Thank you in advance for your help.

I am running Reader DC 2022.001.20169. When I try to search, the application crashes. I want to disable the Fast find function from a Citrix server. Where can I find the registry settings that need to be modified for this to function or can this information be taken care of in Group Policy?
When my system tries to automatically do Adobe Reader updates, this message comes up.
Hi,We are having trouble with Adobe Reader DC. It is taking a very long time to open (2minutes) for a large section of our computers. We are running Windows 10 with the latest Reader version. I have tried turning off Protected Mode (as described is several forum posts) and that does fix the issue but should obviously not be left off. Deleting the temp files only fixes it until the next launch. I am hoping to get help solving this issue or news about long term fixes for it. Thanks.
Hi, I have observed a strange behaviour with my Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have a pdf form which was filled out and generated by Microsoft's Print to PDF option. This form has 2 check boxes options in it, and the second check box is checked. When I take print out of the file, it is printing first check box checked instead of second box! This strange behaviour is happening only in one of my laptops. Please see the Adobe Redaer version and OS version installed in that laptop. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version: Continuous Release | Version 2022.002.20191OS version : Windows 10 Enterprise This behaviour has created big issue to me. So I would like to know more about the root casue rather than solution. Could you please explain me what could have caused this? Thanks
I would like to replace Reader 32bit to 64bit. I know it update automatically, but it has not been changed. I use windows10 pro, 64bit. Would you please let me know the cause.
Hola, no me deja guardar los archivos modificados, como hago?
I have a word list for school, and in it are different words in Greek and their translations. I'm trying to copy the Greek words (or basically the entire file) so I can paste it in an easier learning environment (e.g. Memrise). However, every time I try to copy these words, the letters are changed to their Roman counterparts. For example, "εχω" becomes "e[cw". I am copying a text that contains both Roman and Greek characters, but if I only copy a single Greek word this also happens. I can copy texts from the internet just fine, so it most probably has something to do with the reader.I'm using Adobe Acrobat. Does anyone have any idea why this happens, and how I could prevent it?Thank you for reading and any effort.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this question, if it's not please guide me to the right community channel. I just installed the MS Teams Acrobat reader app to test it before it's made available to everyone in our organization and found that I am able to see all of the most recent files accessed by everyone in my organization. How is that possible? How can I prevent this from happening? we don't want all employees to see everyone else's files. Also, do users require a license from Adobe to use the Teams app? Another user who also installed to test is not able to sign-in to Adobe when prompted, says he does not have access to this service. Thank you in advance for your help.
