Hello.I have a problem with default paper size for my Xerox printer. It seams somehow it keeps changing back to Letter instead of A4. I've read tens of treads and nothing helps.Printer is XEROX, Win 11, Adobe Acrobat 64bit.Each time I have to go to Page Setup > Paper size and change the size to A4.My regional settings is not set to US. I even changed the system locale in administrative language settings, I removed US keyboard, I manually changed in printer preferences each and every printer there is (from Fax to Xerox, Adobe PDF, Microsoft to PDF, etc..) to A4 in both printer preferences (defaults) and printer printer properties. I also tried to reinstall the Adobe. I also reinstalled XEROX printer. Nothin helped.Printer itself has A4 in its settings on the device (also the region is Croatia, the format is Metric not US). Its crazy that in 2024 this is not solvable...
Am I allowed to use free PDF in my job as an online teacher?
I think I have discovered a bug, which I have already reported at https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/926812-acrobat-reader-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/50374686-bug-report-blend-mode-exclusion-not-rendered-co, but I am not sure if that forum is still being monitored by Adobe because it appears to be almost exclusively flooded with spam, so I will post the bug here as well. I have a PDF file containing some text that should be color blended with the background using the blend mode "exclusion". However, the color of the text is displayed incorrectly in Adobe Acrobat Reader. At first, I thought that this is a problem with the program that created the PDF file and that the PDF file is flawed, but I have opened the file in several different PDF viewers and/or editors, including Wondershare PDFelement, Icecream PDF Editor, PDFgear, Okular and Sumatra PDF, as well as in various web browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and they all display the file content

We’re having a weird problem with opening documents using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.When we open the document some of it’s text is displayed incorrectly – instead of being where it should be, it is scattered in a weird way (black boxes are there to hide clients information 🙂 ) : It only occurs on one computer when opening documents from one specific provider and only in Reader – in web browsers or foxit reader it works fine. We tried reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, changing it’s settings, installing fonts, different versions of Reader and even performing a clean reinstall of Windows 10 Pro. We were able to fix this issue, but only for a moment, most of the time it breaks when the user tries to print the document, sometimes simply when it is opened. What we did was copying contents of AppData (Local/LocalLow/Roaming) adobe folders from another user on this PC (it is in a domain) into AppData of the target user. I’d be grateful for any help on t
Buen día. Sometime in the past couple months the Fill & Sign text color changed to white...which makes it useless for filling in forms on white background. I've searched the community and everything says the color of the Fill & Sign font cannot be changed.I had to uninstall version 2019.021.20061 and reinstall an older version (.20058) to be able to use Fill & Sign again.Anybody else? Since I didn't find any Community topics where someone else mentioned it, maybe it was just a quirk of my PC/system or a bad install. Certainly it could not have been intended...Thanks
I created a fillable form. with Pro. In Adobe reader, it says I need to make a copy but then fails to create copy. My stepsUpload document to prepare form. Fill in all forms.Download. When I open with a regular adobe reader (as my clients would), it says to modify you should create a copy. I select create copy. However, it just loads and loads and then says failed. What are my options?
After updating to the latest version of Acrobat Reader (v25.001.20630) it freezes when trying to Quit, resulting in having for Force Quit the app. I'm running masOS Sequoia v15.6 (24G84) on a M4 Mac Mini. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.
I am confused about the concepts of overprinting and knocking out in the context of printing a PDF file. While I think that I understand the difference between these two concepts per se, I am not clear on whether the choice between overprinting and knocking out is a property that is set in the PDF file, be it for the PDF file as a whole or for each element in the document separately, or whether it is up to the printer to decide whether to overprint or to knock out and this choice does not concern the file itself. The reason I ask is that I have a PDF file where the colors of the text look different than expected when opened in Acrobat Reader, both with “overprint preview” turned on and off, but when opened in Okular, they look fine with “overprint preview” turned off but almost like in Acrobat Reader with “overprint preview” turned on. In the program with which I created the source for the PDF file, there is a property that can be set to “overprint” or “knockout” for every elemen
Vielen Dank
Hello I have downloaded Acrobat Reader from the below link:https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ When I try and open a PDF (I have tried numerous PDFs from numerous sources), I get this error:"Running instance of Acrobat Caused an Error" I have numerous times uninstalled and re-installed, but continue to get the same issue.I am using Windows 11 and ESET antivirus. Some comments I have seen online suggest that it can be related to antivirus. ( temporary disabled all aspects of ESET, but still had the same error), Are Adobe still allowing us to use Adobe Reader, or has this been turned off in favour of Creative Cloud?Any ideas?(I specifically need Adobe Reader rather than another brand, as am trying to print a booklet, which I understand is a feature unique to Adobe Reader. If anyone can recommend another product to try, I can do that)
Good Day, At our company we have adobe reader available for use on MacOS, but the auto update funtion is causing problems with our security software. We want to disable the auto update feature enterprise wide, but Im having trouble figuring out the best way to do it on mac. We have done it on windows using registry entries, trying to figure out if thiers a simmiliar approach we can take on Mac .Reg entry fix script below:reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown" /v bUpdater /t REG_DWORD /d 00000000 /freg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe ARM\Legacy\Reader\{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AC0F074E4100}" /v Mode /t REG_DWORD /d 00000000 /fsc stop "AdobeARMservice" sc config "AdobeARMservice" start= disabled
How?I searched through the settings and cannot find a means to turn on this security option.Currently the only thing the reader does is open them in a new browser window.
The message shown is: "To view the full contents of this document, you need a later version of the PDF viewer", but already have Reader XI 11.0.07, please help me out. Thanks in advance
I use Adobe Acrobat to edit documents, but it takes a very long time to delete, resize, move, or add text. I close other applications on my computer to see if that affects its speed. I also use Adobe Express to create designs in documents; however, it frequently crashes or takes a long time to load its features. I close other browser tabs on my computer to see if that's affecting its speed.
My project manager needs to be able to check if PDF file specs are correct. How can the bleed specs be checked in a PDF using Acrobat Reader?
I use Acrobat reader strictly as that: a reader. No editing or any fancy stuff. So I find it annoying that each time i open it I have to get rid of unwanted stuff on-screen. I'm not even sure what the corrrect terms are for these things, but it's the panels on the sides with all kinds of gadgets and stuff in them, including the toolbar that appears on the right side even after closing that panel.I want to get rid of this stuff. Permanently. (At least on program start.) All I want to see is my document (well, the menu bar and the toolstrip at the top are OK). It's the stuff to the sides of the document panel that I don't want.If I ever need any of these things (which would be rarely) I know how to find them in the user interface.I've looked all through the Preferences items and haven't found anything that addresses this.Is there an option that I missed there? If not, would it be possible to add this capability to a future release?Everyone nowadays seems to just want more, more, more from
Does anyone know why my Adobe suddenly started saving all my "PDF's" as Chrome HTML Documents? How can I fix this?!>!
When I full screen a PDF, the menu bar 'overflows' and shows on my other monitor. How can I prevent this?I run an event space and use these monitors to display multiple sources inside said event space and this menu bar layers on top of content and interferes with displaying content. This picture show my monitor topology to provide some further understanding and conceptualization. I display widescreen graphics in my event space and the menu bar with overlay on top of those graphics.
I'm on Windows 10 and no matter what i try, no matter how i mark text (doubleclick or left mouse button down + drag + left mouse button up or even menu/edit/select all), most of the times (but sometimes it does work for the same document where it previously didn't, and while it's still open, no close/reopen has been done), copying text (with CTRL+C, with Right-Mouse-Button-Context-Menu + Copy, with the popup-toolbar and its copy icon or with menu/edit/copy) doesn't copy anything to the clipboard. Copying the same marked text from the same document with the chrome pdf plugin always works. I'm testing with the newest Adobe Acrobat Reader (V 2022.003.20310 64-bit). Here's an example file where sometimes copying works and sometimes it doesn't:https://www.adobe.com/support/products/enterprise/knowledgecenter/media/c4611_sample_explain.pdfNote that i did click on "enable all features" when the warning about a potentially unsafe document has been shown. The "Document Properties"
