I know you can reduce the file size in previous versions of Acrobat but I can find how to do it in Acrobat DC. Please help.
Hello all,I'm a little confused. For some time now, the 64-bit version of Adobe Reader has been available and, as msp packages, regular updates accordingly. Today I found the enterprise Homepage and got a:AcroRdrDCx642200120085_MUI.exefrom https://get.adobe.com/de/reader/enterprise/ However, it only contains an AcroPro.msi and no AcroRead.msi as in the 32-bit version. So far, I update the package via the slipstream integration and then distribute the package via the software distribution of the GPO.Can I use the AcroPro.msi in the same way, or does this require a licence or a different procedure? Many thanks
I have an issue that I was made aware today. When trying to use the email icon to send a pdf via email using the windows 10 mail app I get that the default mail client is unknown and by pressing send I get the error "Adobe Acrobat is unable to connect to your email program". I checked the menu email accounts in preferences and there is no more the default mail account (I get an empty list). I have tried to uninstall the acrobat reader with the cleaner as well as the mail app and cleaned all the user data, reinstalled adobe reader dc from the adobe website as well as the mail app from the store and got the same results. I checked the registry Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail and get only the hotmail entry which is created when I install the mail app. I then deleted the entry and repeated the uninstall/install of both applications after a reboot. The key is created again but still cannot send from adobe reader. The exact same thing occurs in 2 more computers that I
Most browsers have deprecated FTP support now, and in many environments it can be difficult approving/installing extra FTP software. FTP ports may also be blocked in some companies. I even tried using the old command line FTP tool, but no luck: At this rate, I'm going to have to use another computer or obtain the .admx files from some dodgy google link. Please consider hosting these tiny files as HTTP instead. Thanks
I have a .pdf file set as a homepage. It displays in fullscreen.Clicking on one of the links opens a .pdf file in a new window. But when I close that window to go back to the home page, the home page now displays like this:This does not happen on my main PC (PC#1), only at the PC (PC#2)out in the work area. I have checked the Acrobat Reader DC settings on PC#2 and they are the same as on PC#1.This is making me nuts. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Recently I found that the preview plane of Windows File Explorer failed to show the whole pdf file when Adobe Acrobat Reader is set to be the default program for viewing pdf, instead showing a static thumbnail of the pdf with an Acrobat logo in the bottom right. The problem doesn't appear when other programs are set to be default. How can I solve this problem? I believe this may have something to do with a previous program (PDF-XChange Editor). Hello, I'm experiencing an issue with the Creative Cloud. When files are being downloaded, there are weird characters appearing in the file name instead of spaces. It's really time consuming to change all the file names back. Is this something I can fix? Thanks!
Hi! I'm having trouble with my Highlight Text tool. This never happened to me before. I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad D330. I've downloaded a book that had highlights that I needed, but when I highlight my own text, it doesn't appear to be the same as the yellow highlights. My attempt to highlight has no filled-in colors (Refer to the picture), rather it is only a red outline of the text. I've set opacity to 100% already and still no changes. Please help.

Hi, I like to convert a PDF to a QR. How?
Hi I have pdf-files created with an application where you can fill in which font to use. I have read online and understnad that fonts can be embedded or not embedded and if they are not embedded they will be shown correctly if the fonts are installed on the computer. In my PDF if I go to properties->Fonts I have this info: Helvetica-Bold Type: Type 1 Encoding: Ansi Actual Font:Arial-BoldMT Actual Font Type: TrueType Verdana Type:TrueType Encoding:Ansi Actual Font: Adobe Sans MM Actual Font Type: Type 1 Verdana-Bold,Bold Type: TrueType Encoding: Ansi Actual Font: Adobe Sans MM Actual Font Type: Type 1 If i look in windows i find C:\Windows\Fonts\verdanab.ttf and C:\Windows\Fonts\verdana.ttfSo why is this not showing in adobe reader? I'm trying to understand how to correct so that these fonsts are shown correctly
I got this issue on Adobe Sign. It bypassed the approver, didn't receive any notification and went directly to the signature process.

Hello. I use the latest Adobe Reader DC x64. When I add text to some PDF documents (using Wypełnij i podpisz - Fill and sign tool) there is I think Myriad Pro font used. However, when I add some polish letters like ą, ę, ś and so on, the font changes to Minion Pro and the document looks no consistent. I've read https://helpx.adobe.com/pl/acrobat/using/default-font-pdf-editing-add-text.html, but in my version of Reader there isn't Content Editing menu. I found some font setting under the Language menu, however there are only: default, GB18030 and HKSCS options. How can I solve it and use for example Arial font?
We have industry specific software which is requiring Acrobat Reader 9. The install file installs Reader v9.3. We have been running Acrobat Reader DC, which I feel comfortable with. Reader 9 is out dated and I don't feel safe running it. Is there a way that I can put a "redirect" (or something else) to trick the software into using DC? I have put in a formal complaint with the vendor as v9 is no longer supported by Adobe, and hasn't been since 2013. Thank you in advance.
Our version is 22.1.20085.0 and we've encountered two issues recently while attempting to download & open PDF files. I've attached the error messages. On one system we received a 0:521 error message with 'please launch Adobe acrobat...' and the other one was for us to launch Adobe reader first. We're using the product as a PDF viewer and have encountered these two errors out of 110 tests. Our software is calling for a PDF to be downloaded and viewed locally. I have not been able to replicate the issue and I'm not familiar with the logging, if any, involved. I see nothing noteworthy in the Windows Event logs.
