Acrobat Reader

Opening a .pdx-file after upgrading to 2022 version triggers a repair installation. Eventviewer lists "%programfiles(x86)%\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroCEF\libGLESv2.dll" as missing (and it is). The repair installation cannot fix this. After repair ran a acrocef_1 or acrocef_2 folder exists containing the file, but the next run will still trigger a repair. Reboot or removing the acrocef_x folder does not solve this.

Hello, we want to disable the option  Signing with certificates in Acrobat Reader DC.There is a key provided by Adobe for disabling the feature in  Services integration (adobe.com) The key is:bEnableCertificate But it seems that here is a limitation to Version 11. Is there any solution for DC?  Can anyone help and know the solution for disabling only this function (Signing with Certificates via Registry Key)? RegardsA. 

I've been getting charged $22.59 for the past couple months from adobe software and when I sign in to my account, it says I have no active plan in progress which is accurate because I don't subcscribing to a plan. Can someone assist me with this ?

Hello, I have Windows 10 Home with 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. It is a Dell Inspiron Laptop with 8GB of RAM and Intel Core i7 processor. I have the install file AcroRdrDC2200120085_en_US.exe to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (the free version).My C: Drive is full, but my 😧 Drive has about 900 GB available. I have two physical drives. So I changed the destination folder for the install to an empty folder on the 😧 Drive. The install almost finishes but then gives the following error. "Error 1307: There is not enough disk space to install the file C:\Windows\Installer\b36414.msp  Free some disk space and click Retry.  Cancel to exit" This makes no sense. I have told it to install to an empty folder on the 😧 drive with over 900 GB of space. Any ideas of what is happening here? Thank you in advance.  

I'm trying to solve a weird problem.  There's a networked printer in a business environment.  When printing PDF's in reader, sometimes it will print multiple pages from a document and not the rest.  I have a 10 page document that I want to print all 10 pages of, but when I print it it will print the first 3 pages 10 times so I end up with 30 pages (3 pages repeated 10 times) instead of 10 pages of the whole document.  It does not do this with word documents, only PDF's, and it doesn't do it with every PDF.  I'm printing things PDF's made by someone else.  Some documents will print completely properly and no one else seems to have the same issue, leading me to believe its the computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have Adobe Reader 64-bit installed. In my .NET applciation I have embedded the AcroPDF control to view PDF files. If I compile my .NET application for 64-bit (Any CPU) the control will  not load the page, and just shows an Initializing bar.    This is 64-bit Adobe, why does the AcroPDF not support 64-bit? Are there plans to support this is the future? 

Hi,We get an general error when using Acrobat Reader.When we have read the document and push the button Bestatigt normally the is automaticly an email in outlook as a reply to the person who send us this document.Now we get this error.On an other computer its still working fine but this (new) computer is giving this error."Warning from Javascript window" | Error: General error; Editing has failed.Any one knows how to fix this? gr.

The last Adobe update (2021.007.20091) doesn't correctly open .FDF files through Windows 10 anymore. If you are running Adobe Acrobat Reader (have the application open) you can browse to and open an .FDF file and it will open successfully; however, if you are in Windows Explorer and you click on an FDF file (expecting Adobe Reader to launch and open), or if you are using a browser and attempt to open a link to an FDF file, Windows seems to think that Adobe isn't finished installing and puts up an installer dialogue box that says "Please wait while Windows configures Adobe Acrobat DC". It appears to be doing an automatic repair. This takes a while (10-30 seconds) and then eventually Adobe will launch and open the FDF file. The next time you try to open an FDF file, the behavior will repeat. The only 'solution' was to roll back Adobe to an earlier version.

I have a problem with the program. If I move the mouse pointer over the menubar, it will strangely disappear and the whole graphic will be damaged Reader. I have to turn off the menubar with the F9 key to fix the graphics. It goes wrong again each time you hover the mouse. I tried to uninstall and install the whole program. The problem still persists.

One of our terminal servers was updated over the weekend and now users on this server it is asking for the username and password. Please investigate

Some text data disappears when I open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.Text data will be displayed when opened by other than Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I want to simply add a password to open protect a document (PDF) but in the Tools section I don't see the option to do so.  Do I need a paid subscription in order to do so?  Thank you in advance for your help.

Has anyone noticed Reader being "updated" to Acrobat during the scheduled update task?  I had a client contact me yesterday regarding Reader not working after being updated to the latest version 2022.001.20085 and found the systems now had Acrobat DC (64-bit) installed instead of the 32-bit Reader.  Found in the event log where Reader had performed an update and then later where AcroPro.msi had began an installation.  I've been able to recreate it on a test system by simply installing Reader (32-bit), checking Reader is functional and reports the correct version installed and then opening the task manager and kicking off the scheduled Adobe update task.  Checking for updates within Reader correctly reports the latest version is installed and doesn't cause Reader to be removed and replaced by Acrobat.I had removed Acrobat DC and reinstalled Reader DC on several systems yesterday only to find they had all "upgraded" to Acrobat in the early morning hours when the sched

Hello, I plan to deploy Reader x64 in company I support, I created MECM/SCCM application package and successfully deployed it to test PCs. As I use third party software updates and it works nice for Reader/Acrobat x86 I expected some updates will show up in the system, either as installed or required. However after a time there is nothing... It is like when criteria for neither status is met (installed or required), thus MECM/SCCM does not show anything and I cannot patch those PCs. I can see Reader/Acrobat x64 updates synchronizes in MECM/SCCM correctly. I am wondering if it has something with this post https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/reader-x64-identifies-as-quot-adobe-acrobat-dc-64-bit-quot/m-p/12041912 as I experience the same, but I do not think so as no updates also for Acrobat x64 appear in MECM/SCCM. Thanks for help! 

Hello Community,we have changed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to 64bit some time ago. We noticed that after the distribution no preview in Windows Explorer is possible anymore. There was an official article from Adobe, unfortunately I can't find it again.The version number where the preview did not work is 2200120039 and the version where it works is 2200120085.I have manually uninstalled version 2200120039 and then installed version 2200120085 with a silent script. After that the preview worked.But if I leave the version 2200120039 installed and run the script as a patch, then the preview does not work.Where exactly is the error? is it an addon that is installed and not updated or registered during the update? Hello together,I've rolled out the new version of Adobe Reder DC2200120085.We ran into a problem with the Explorer preview window. If there is an filename with # in it we get ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND but we can open (doubleclick) the file normaly. I attach an screenshot.Please fix this in your next release. Many thanks

When you open a document that is digitally signed checks the document, then the certificates and lastly the revocation list online before stating if it's valid or invalid. I would suggest not to check every time since one may open and normally open the same doc many times in the same day, sometimes the same hour, forcing the process once and again for each file. As we do with the passwords for buying once every 15 min, 30 min, a day is sufficient if not on request to do all that process, nothing really changes in that hour. To keep in consideration.

We are having an issue with the mail to function being added to a button.  We have the button setup to open the document in an email and populate a list of recipients in the To field.  When we test this function using Acrobat Reader DC on a PC, it behaves as intended.  However, when using the Adobe Acrobat Reader app on an iPad, we get the document to open in mail but the list of recipients in the To Field is not being populated.  Is there something different that needs done for this to work correctly usin the Adobe Acrobat Reader app for iPad?

I am looking for some insight and confirmation. Recently discovered, Adobe Reader DC 64-bit (2022.001.20085) will not interact with form checkboxes while using a screen reader current released version JAWS 32/64 bit or NVDA. I have replicated this on multiple virtual machines. I have developed test forms with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, AEM Designer 6, and LiveCycle Designer 11. Has anyone come across this?
