Acrobat Reader

bonjour, j'ouvre un fichier pdf, ensuite je fais enregistrer sous, une fenetre s'ouvre et reste blanche, pas possible d'aller plus loin. vraiment un pb, car je ne peux plus modifier un pdf et enregistrer. j'ai essayé de voir avec le parefeu bitdefender mais je ne trouve rien. merci de votre aide svp car adobe acrobat reader DC est vraiment très bien et je l'utilise depuis des années. bien cordialement

It blows my mind that Adobe gets away with releasing such crap software. As a long time Creative suite user (mainly Premiere) I ditched Adobe for video work due to the constant crashing and zero useful support.Now, acrobat makes it almost impossible to just sign a document.Seriously, who are the software engineers at Adobe? I can find dozens of faults in each Adobe software package I use wihin minutes of use.I get the error message that"There was an error opening this document. Acrobat cannot open this file because a task is still active in Acrobat. Please return to Acrobat and end the task before opening this file." But it's not open anywhere!  

When I click on File/Save As a blank window pops up. I no longer can select where I want to save a document, or the name of the document. I tried repairing Adobi Acrobat Reader, but that didn't help.  I also cleared the Adobe Reader Search Cache.  My only solution is to print the document to PDF.

There are many users who barely use a PDF reader on their computer. From time to time they may want to sign a document. I tried to help a friend get Reader set up and I was barraged with multiple Adobe offers for all kinds of software and no clear help on just installing Reader. I wasn't even clear she could get it for free. For occasional users of Reader, please provide a clear way to find the website via Google search, provide clear information on what Reader is, and stop trying to sell the occasional user on a more expensive product. Also, why isn't Reader available on the Apple App store? No wonder there are so many other PDF readers proliferating the digital landscape.  (I am an experienced user but not a professional user and I also think there's an opportunity for a middle tier charge for my very ocassional use. I would like to know more about Photoshop and Illustrator, but I don't use it very much and I am paying a lot just for the privilege of looking

Hello friends of Adobe and PDF Files,I've archived many Magazines and books as PDF files in my Cloud Drive and would like to view them on my Chromebook in my Chrome Webbrowser .. but in a 2-page view ! ! because many magazines or books have illustrations which spread over a double page, but how could I view that in the browser, without a 2-page view mode?(.. and no I don't want a workaround with 2 reduced independent browser instances, side by side, each which a single page ) When I download a PDF document, I can read it with almost any PDF viewer in a 2 page view, but I don't want to download them, many of them are much to big and that makes no sense to me on a Chromebook. I live digitally in my Cloud. Someone should implement the 2-sided view in the browser plugin. This is the way many books and magazines are read. Thanks in advance.Best regards,Lars

Hi Community, ist not possible to open some official pdf-documents from the german authorities with my chromebook.A local installation of adobe reader dc is apparently absolutely necessary.On my Windows Laptop with a local installation of adobe reader dc its no problem to open this files. How can I open this pdf-files on my chromebook? You will see the message shown below. Ideas? Thanky for your supoort!! Greetings Marcus   

Greetings to the Adobe community. I'm writting a paper, and I need to read a lot of other papers that reference a lot of other books. I was wondering if I could link those PDF files together, at a specific page? Eg. on the left is a paper that in the footnote no. 2 references a page no. 98 from the book on the right. (Both files are on the same drive in my computer, but in different folders).  What I would like to be able to do is to make a link in the paper on the left that when clicked opens the book on the right at the exact page in a new window. I tried googling for the solution and searching forums but all I could find is either links to the entire document, or URL links to websites etc. BONUS: What would be even cooler is if it worked vice versa, i.e. if in the targeted book file a link is generated that opens in new windows all the paper files that quotes that place, at the exact pages. I had Reader DC working fine on my computer then I upgraded to Windows 10.  I hated it so I reverted back to Windows 7. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem I have now, but as it stands now, Reader DC won't work. When I try to uninstall it or reinstall it I get this message "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable,"  and it asked me to enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "AcroRead.msi." I've searched my computer and the only file that comes up is the one gives me a message that says "The path {file name} cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package "AcroRead.msi" in a folder from which you can install the prodcut Adobe Reader Xi (11.0.13)."  I really have no idea what to do next. Any helpful ideas on how to get Reader DC to work properly on my computer again?  Thanks!

Une version READER DC ancienne fonctionnait. Auj un message apparaît d'ECHEC DE MISE A JOUR parce que fenêtre App. Mal Installée.Echec de mise à jour du produit. Impossible de le DESINSTALLER L'APP. Mon antivirus karpesky me dit que l'absence de mise à jour de Acrobat Reader DC peut entraîner des problèmes pour la sécurité de mon ordinateur. 

Guten Abend zusammen,ich habe mir vorhin die kostenlose 14-tägige Testversion vom Acrobat Reader DC heruntergeladen.Da diese leider nicht den gewünschten Erfolg hatte und das .pdf nich fehlerfrei konvertieren konnte, wollte ich die Testversion kündigen.In meinem Adobe Account unter Abos wird jedoch nichts aufgeführt. Muss ich die Testversion nun kündigen (so habe ich es meines Wissens gelesen) oder läuft diese automatisch nach 14 Tagen ab und verlängert sich nicht in ein kostenpflichtiges Abo?Die Seite, auf der ich die Testversion downloaden konnte finde ich, warum auch immer, nicht mehr.Vielen Dank im Voraus.Beste GrüßeJens

Before I was able to using the Acrobat Reader English Version, and type simplified Chinese character. After I got a new computer, I cannot type Simplified Chinese without chaning the entire Application language. If I want to type Chinese, now I have to change entire Acrobat Reader to Chinese first(All menu), which is really annoying.  Before I was using a 2017 MacBook Pro, now I use a 2021 MacBook Pro, anyone know how to fix this issue please?

i am using windows 10 pro have observed adobe acrobat reader gets uninstalled after windows automatic updates were installed by the windows. it happened with 2 of our computers sharing a domain and i have experienced this uninstall on my laptop as well. have you guys faced this issue with your machines? please help me out to eradicate this problem. thanks:)

I am unable to view the TOC on a PDF someone sent to me. He is able to view the TOC on his end though. 

De uns tempos pra cá o Acrobat XI PRO vem apresentando uma lentidão absurda na leitura de documentos de texto simples, simplesmente ao rolar as páginas aparece no rodapé "carregando imagem" e "iniciando o reconhecimento... " e isso demora alguns segundos causando uma lentidão bem chata e incomoda, já tentei alterar a configuração de leitura nas preferências para "Ler somente páginas visíveis no momento" mas não adiantou, queria saber se tem alguma configuração que eu possa fazer para ele apenas exibir o documento, pois aparentemente ele está fazendo reconhecimento do texto automaticamente na abertura e rolagem das páginas o que vem causado essa lentidão toda.

Is it possible to split PDF files withAcrobat Reader? If yes, I would like to know if there is a feature that allowsto name each file automatically while splitting the files.  For example, if I have a file of 10 pages ( which contains invitation with names of10 different persons) and I split each page to one file (total of 10 PDF files- one file for each person) and I would like for each file to be named by the person'sname, is there a customized feature that can assist with naming each PDF file(instead if numbering each PDF file)?

I am using Acrobat to digitally sign documents using a qualified certificate. I am using a scan of my signature to add the right visual feel to it instead of having my name machine written. In the right side of the signature, I am displaying the date and time of signing. Is it possible to customize/adjust the size of the date, and maybe move it below the signature instead of having it on the right?

I have an issue with the signing documents with adobe.I get the document can not be saved that general 105 error.I have found a few threads and disabled the network save/share for it, no change.I hsve reviewed the settings and recreated my digital signature, but no luck.Any one have any ideas?

Hi, I followed the instructions contained in this manual: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/approved-trust-list-update-dialog.html, but the certificate "Certification authority for Brazilian root" was not updated and multiple digital signatures were not validated correctly.To fix this, I did a manual update, but I have a client that won't be able to do this.Is there another way to perform this update?The correct certificates (ICP-Brasilv2.crt and ICP-Brasilv5.crt) can be found here: https://www.gov.br/fazenda/pt-br/assuntos/noticias/2018/setembro/alerta-de-pagina-nao-confiavel-atualizacao-da-cadeia-de-certificacao Thanks in advance.
