Acrobat Reader

I bought a PDF version text book for school. EVERYWHERE throughout the document are annoying frames; border frames, page frames, column frames, etc. sometimes the boxes seem to have nothing to do with what is on the page.  They are disruptive, distracting, and visually annoying. How do I remove or hide them? These are NOT text boxes or superimposed comment boxes. It is a 600+ page book and every single page has black page borders, column borders, and borders around "special content."

I'm using Reader X.  When I arrow down in my search result set, I expect the result that is in focus to be highlighted in my document.  That doesn't work as I would expect when I use RDP to connect to a Win7 machine.Here's how I can observe the correct behavior, when I use my local machine, which is running Win 7, SP1, and Adobe Reader 10.1.13.1) Open a document, such as PDF.PDF which I downloaded from the interwebs.2) Click Edit->Advanced Search.3) In the search window, search for a common phase such as "to" in the current doc.4) Single click to select the first search result.  This causes the first instance of "to" to become highlighted in the current doc.5) CLICK THE DOWN ARROW to move to the second search result.  Note that the second search result becomes highlighted in the search pane.EXPECTED and OBSERVED result:  The second instance of the search term, "to", is highlighted in the document.This is the behavior I would expect.The behavior is different

hi guys i use this on my cell phone to convert labels into docx becuase then when i send it to my brother label printer it comes out as a 4x6 label. acrobat has worked great for this and now its not working can someone help me with this issue. i deleted and reenstalled the app and that didnt work please help. 

When I try to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I get a message that a newer version is already installed, and then a second message that the install failed. The website suggests that I uninstall the program and then re-install it, but I have tried that.  My computer does not list the program as being on it, and pdf files open with word, not Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Any helpful suggestion would be appreciated.

I am trying to open a form on the sac county court website, but I am unable to.  I have confirmed that I have the latest version of Reader.   It gives me an error.  It says "a font package is required to correctly display this page".  And continues on and asks me to click OK.  When I do this, nothing happens and I am still unable to open the contents of the document.  I disabled my internet security to see if it was blocking it, but I don't know what else to do.  I had this problem several months ago on this website, but never resolved the issue.  It has to be on my end.

Hi, since one month ago (aproximately) I can´t upload files to the cloud, first the file starts to upload but then appears a message "Error produced by trying to acces the service" and I´ve tried many times with different files but nothing. The app is updated and there´s any update available by the moment. I want to see a pdf in dark mode, if this can possible. Please give a new update of Adobe reader 11 PC version.I know i can change backgroung to any color but give a nice button so i can do it by direct click in that.and my notebook don't run adobe acrobat dc as smooth pdf reader.Thanks

I've created a PDF document editable fields and with one signature field.  When my customers open the PDF in their browser (google chrome) it lets them enter information into the editable fields, but does not let them sign the doc.  If they download it to their computer and open with Adobe, they are able to both edit the fields and sign the doc.  Is it possible for them to sign it when they open it in the browser? Or do they have to download it and sign it in Adobe?

HelloI just got a laptop from rent laptops and when I installed adobe reader in it, since then the laptop doesn't download any PDF file and an error occurs. Is there any issue with the app or the laptop?

Adobe Reader DC 2019 has started closing after being open for just a few seconds. I've uninstalled, used the cleaner, reinstalled and there is no change. What do I do?

In the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2021.1.20135) can be activated at Adobe his account yet. This no longer works with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (21.001.20149) and other updates by Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2021.1.20135). under Win7 SP1 x64  

I am trying to fill out a FedEx form which has single line text boxes. It does not word wrap and will not open to view full text input. Is there a way to change this to multi line? There is a plus at the bottom corner of each box which does nothing when clicked on.

Hello, I am recieving an error that states Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open "FileName" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Has anyone found a solution to this error?  I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Edit registry value for Adobe from article I found online.Uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe ReaderRan repair on Adobe Reader twice I know it is not the computer itself, because I can open other PDFs just fine.   

I am on Mac OS 11.2.3 and installed the Acrobat DC Reader version 2100120145.  Every time I open PDF I am asked to install the newer version and have to click cancel 4-5 times to get rid of the warning box. "This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat. Without a newer version, the form may display, but may not work properly. Some form elements might not be visible at all. If an internet connection is available, clicking OK will download and install the latest version."  I also tried to follow the steps mentioned in this post. Ran the clean, restarted, installed dc, restarted but with no success.

When I share a pdf document from Adobe Acrobat Reader my outlook is the default which is correct. However, I want it to share from my gmail address rather than my bigpond address. How do I change this? 

I am trying to add comments to a PDF in Adobe Reader DC. When I go to save it forces me to save as a new document each time. How do I just save the existing PDF?

When I try to snapshot an imaee from Acrobat Reader, The program which I paste the image ( powerpoint or keynote) crushes.  My system is M1 8gb Mac.  How do I resolve it ? 

Hi! I tried to save a document on Adobe DC (it was already saved there, I just wanted to update the doc). While it was uploading, Adobe Reader crashed and closed. This made the file corrupted (the file had 30MB before, now it has 15MB, does not open). Is there a way to recover it? Is there a file version repository or a temporary file folder where I can find the document on macOS Catalina? Someone please help, this doc is really important to me! Thanks a lot,

Hi,since today I'm unable to sign any Document witch my Adobe Rader Standard 2017 (17.011.30194).When i click on the "fill &sign"- Tool there's a hint: (Your data will be retrieved).If I click on "sign" the small window with the loading animation pops up (see the attached picture)but nothing changes. I had also deactivated the firewall once. Does anyone else have an idea?I use the latest win10 with all updates... with kind regards D. Schomerus  

Hi, We have a Citrix environment and are using OneDriveMapper within the environment to provide OneDrive functionality within a Citrix environment. It is working fine. There is one thing that we want to change, which is the pop-up that is shown when a PDF file is opened from the user's OneDrive location. It asks to check in the file to <tenant>.my-sharepoint.com or open the file. I checked the internet for a solution and found out a registery adjustment that we could do, but it did not solve the issue for us. The provided solution was to add a register item (DWORD) named bDisableSharePointFeatures under SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\cSharePoint, with value 1. This solution is probably aged and not working anymore. So we were wondering if there are other options to do to suppress this pop-up, so the PDF file opens automatically instead of asking for a check-in using SharePoint. 

Tengo una impresora termica POS 5890 C, al darle imprimir directo desde chrome sale borroso, pero al descargar el archivo en una carpeta y abrirlo directamente en adobe reader imprime correctamente, como podre configurar correctamente para que directo de chrome el archivo pdf??

I have filled the form in adobe reader dc but when i try to scroll the text field i cann't see my whole answer the scroll bar is going down even the curser but i am unable to see the text.I have reinstall the software number of times and also try to change the preference but nothing work for me.Could anyone help me with this problem.thanks 

No puedo acceder a la aplicación Acrobat Reader DC, no tampoco puedo desintalarla desde la herramienta Creative Cloud Desktop. Me sale el siguiente error, asociado a la falta de Eula.exe  Desde la herramienta Creativ Cloud Desktop, dispogo actualizado Acrobat DC, pero cuando intendo desinstala, al 2% se paraliza. En mi panel de control, no dispongo de la herramienta instalada Acrobat DC instalada.Sin embargo están los ficheros siguientes en el raiz;C:\Program Files (x86)\AdobeAgradecería alguna pista para su solución.Un saludo.

So we are running into an issue where we need to sign off on behalf of other users via use of a stamp, and when using the stamp we do not want the user name (author) to show, so going into the stamp I remove it, then tick set as default settings, this works for any stamps we use after this and as long as the application itself remains open you can open or close documents and the settings are ok, but once you close the application and open it again you need to do this entire process again. this is not ideal for non-technical staff. I have also deselected Edit>Preferences>Commenting>Always use Log-in Name for Author name.I have also deselected Edit>Preferences>Documents>Restore last view settings when reopening documents (incase it is somehow interferring).We are using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro v11.0.23Any help would be greatly appreciated.
