Hi, I have this trouble, it begins when I select a part of a text. Its in Windows 10 and thje software is Adobe Reader DC version 21.001.20145. It happens with all the pdf documents.
Immediately after upgrading from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 20.013.20074to 21.001.20135, the Find Text function doesn't find text that does exist in documents. Does anybody else experience this behavior? Thanks.
Hi, I created an interactive form with layers and a dropdown menu. I had made the dropdown run a custom validation script everytime a item from the dropdown was selected. The script will make a layer visible when an item was selected from the dropdown. There are about 10 main layers with each having about 4 sub layers in it. The issue I have is that when I try to search a specific term in the document, Adobe intially searches in the layer that is visible which is where it should end. There is then a dialog box that says the result occured on a layer that is not currently visible, and asks if we would like to make that layer visible now. Giving yes messes up the entire document making all other layers visible. This document will be sent to our client and I wouldnt want them to handle this issue. Each layer is specific for each client and they should at no point be accidently merged. Any idea how to lock this feature or prevent users from searching beyond one layer?
Can my pdf files be converted to as below:written in English, French, or German; and prepared in TEX or one of its variants (LATEX, AMS-TEX, or AMS-LATEX). It is also strongly suggested that authors use the following specifications in TEX: document class amsart (type size 11pt) (\documentclass[11pt]{amsart}); text height = 615pt; and text width = 360pt.
When I open a PDF, the desired PDF opens, then a second or two later, another PDF opens in another tab. The unwanted PDF is, I think, the previous most recently opened PDF.How do I stop Reader from opening additional, unwanted PDFs?v. 21.001.20140
Hi. I am using Adobe Reader Touch, with which I have been analyzing a text for a university class. I have added plenty of these so called "sticky notes" to the side of the text, which contained crucial information and questions I figured out or have thought of during the reading. It was all fun and games, until ca. 10 minutes ago the program closed out of nowhere, and when I reopened it, my notes were gone. I have around 5-6 hours of work in this document and in these notes, so it would be a major inconvenience, if they were permanently gone. Can you please help me? I am desperate.

When filling in a text field, I am using Cntrl+E to change the font size. I am selecting a smaller font size 12pt. I am selecting single spacing. I fill in several lines of text and they display in the text box as single spaced. However, when I select Print or Save As, the lines of text entered as single spaced then jump to double spacing. Is using the smaller font size causing this? The default text for the field is larger - 20 pt.
I use Acrobat Reader DC (free version). I use it mainly to download credit card statements from my bank. I use the highlight tool to check off verified purchases. I also use the 'insert text at cursor' to write notes to myself...and edit those notes. With the 'new' DC, I get this section on the right with Comments. I don't use this, don't post my notes to anyone...want to get rid of this feature altogether. I can sometimes minimize it but it always comes back...and I don't like the fact that I seem to be broadcasting my stupid notes to others. I've attached screen caps of an entry on my statement using the insert text at cursor tool...as well as the Comments section heading. How can I disable the Comments section? Thanks!!!

Hello everybody. One of our clients using Acrobat Reader DC has some trouble opening PDF documents. A hand full of users have the same problem: They generate PDF documents from a billing software and display it in Acrobat Reader DC. The preview inside the software looks perfectly fine but once they open the document inside Reader DC all the characters get messed up and it becomes basically unreadable. Other PDF-Readers can display the same PDF document the way it should be. Browsers like Firefox and Chrome work just fine too. If said Users send the document to someone else either inside their organisation or outside their organisation (to me for example) the person can open and read the PDF. I checked the Versions of the Reader, they are all the same. Once the same document is sent back to the original user who generated it, that user will see the same weird stuff again. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Software already but that didnt help. Neither did it help to deactivate/activate se

Hi everyone, first time posting.I've just ran into the spell check issue. We have an incident form we use, one of our end users recently reported that the spell checker is no longer working and reached out for help correcting.I have read quite a bit on the issue within these forms but have not read any solutions, despite many marked that way. The product is Adobe Reader DC (free version), I now have this very version on my own desktop, there is no spelling dictionary.I went over to a coworkers and asked them if they have spell check in Reader DC, they checked and nope they did not, they were sure they did.Clearly something is going on here and would very much like to know what that is. Has Adobe dropped spelling support in Reader DC? Reinstalling does not change anything, nor does downloading some odd language package, there was none to be found for this exact version, used the what seems to be the closest but it did not work. On it installed with
Hi guysEverytime I have to digital sign (from certificate) the document I have to mouse click 3 times. When I have a lot of documents its a very time consuming. However, I wonder if is possible to customize this tool (digital sign) and save the settings. Therefore I will appear every document I open and I won't need to click 3 times, only once. I have seen a lot of videos that show the person using customize tools, but I don't have this option in the adobe acrobat DC reader.Thank you in advanced.Sergio Autuori

I have an old PDF (2017) which has interactive elements which require Flash (This content requires flash player, which is no longer supported) I need to enable this so I can view all the pictures. Is there a way of doing that.
Hello. Converted an excel form into pdf. When in pdf and you click fill and sign most of the blue highlighting shows up in the right places (where there is a line to fill in information). But there are some blue highlight squares showing up in random places where I don't want people to type. There is no line or space to type even so I don't know why Adobe is doing this every time. I have locked the cells and worksheet in excel and the cells have no different formatting than many others in the same form that seem to convert just fine...
When I export my letterhead from PDF to Word the watermark does not come thru. How can I fix that?
