Acrobat Reader

Hi all,  My computer seems to have restarted overnight and today my Acrobat reader is crashing every time I open it. I'm getting the following error message, saying that one or more documents were not saved properly and have been recovered. I've selected both yes and no. Regardless of the choice, Acrobat Reader immediately closes after choosing one. I have checked Creative Cloud and am showing up to date. My next step will be to uninstall and reinstall, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue, or has a solution.  TIA.

I can't sign in to my free mobile Acrobat Reader account. Whenever I try, the sign-in screen blinks once, but nothing happens. I want to backup documents to Document Cloud from Acrobat Reader. I can sign in to Document Cloud elsewhere, but can't access the Acrobat Reader that way. Any help, please? 

I'm on macOS Sierra and I've installed Acrobat DC (signed up for the free trial) through 'creative cloud' multiple times but it won't show up under 'all apps' nor can I access it through spotlight search or finder. I'll even get a toast notification that it's installed, but clearly it isn't.

I uninstalled reinstalled adobe reader app on iphone 7+ IOS 14.3. All documents on phone stored in Adobe cloud were wiped out. All that was there was welcome pdf. Any chance of retrieving them?

I am working on one rather large, governmental PKI implementation project. One of the usage scenarios for the certificates, issued by this PKI, is signing PDF files. When we are trying to sign PDF in Acrobat Reader DC, using one of the certificates, issued by the PKI, Reader it is giving us the following error:“Creation of this signature could not be completed. Size limit error Error encountered while BER decoding: Creation of this signature could not be completed. Size limit error Error encountered while BER decoding:”.Same certificate works perfectly fine in MS Office products. Certutil and openssl are able to dump infromation from it without any problems whatsoever..NET code, using SignedCms class is working with it perfectly fine as well.Attempt to contact Adobe support culminated in agent sending me a link with Reader installation instructions ... smh. - Did anyone ever encounter such problem and found a solution?- Do you know if there is a way to look into some logs, wh

For the last 2 years, we have used Adobe Reader DC, called from a third party application, to automatically print address labels to a Zebra label printer.  We would scan a barcode in the application and an address label would be generated and would then open in Adobe Reader and automatically print, without any further user intervention. After the latest update, users now have to click Print on the Print dialog that opens. Can anybody please advise how we can revert to the previous functionality?

Recently we have detected for some PDF files signed with a PAdES-LTV signature that signature validation in Acrobat DC shows that signatures are not valid due "the document has been modified or damaged since it was signed". Apparently the "modification" is the inclusion of the TSP signature. In the past, files signed in the same way and validated whith previous Acrobat DC versions had been not showed problems. We have check this files with an old Acrobat Reader XI (v.11.02) and no validation errors are showed, all the signatures are considered correct. Also, we validate the signatures with other PDF viewers and with online validation systems and in all cases the signatures are cosidered valid. We detect this behaviour in Acrobat DC 2020.009.20067 version, but we don't know from wich version it happens. Could be any problem with the last version of Acrobat DC? I attach an example PDF file. Regards

How can I open Acrobat Reader?  Should I trash the App and reinstall it or not?  If not, what do I need to do?

Hello, My name is Caroline Carbaugh and I am a blind user of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and I mainly use it for translating PDF's in to readable files in to another accessible software. Basically, when I try to print some statistics chapters to the software that I want to print it to, it flattens and eventually doesn't respond. I know that my documents that I am trying to do this process with have a lot of graphs in them so that could be part of the problem, but I don't know for sure. Also, for your information, I have tried checking for updates and repairing installation and I still get the same problem. I also have the free version. If anyone has any tips or tricks, I would really appreciate it thank you.

Hello, my name is Caroline Carbaugh and I am a blind user of adobe acrobat readermainly  DC. I use it to translate PDF's in to a readable format on my laptop in to another program.  P.S. I have attached one of the files that I am having problems with for your information.However, for a statistics class that I am taking for my college, two of the chapters will not print to the software propperly. Basically, according to my Disability Support team, they describe the problem as the screen flattening and the program stops responding after it attempts to print the file to the software that I want it to print to. I know that those documents have some graphs embeded in them so that could be part of the problem, but I don't know for sure. I have tried updating adobe and repairing installation and I still get the same problem. Adobe keeps telling me that I am up to date and I also have the free version for your information. If anybody have any tips or tricks I would greatly appreciate

I feel like I'm loosing my mind! I've been doing the same thing over and over and over and over for years and years and years....When I create a document and name it: Invoice #21023 Waiver 2.11.21I have ALWAYS just hit return and it would add .pdf to the end of it, AUTOMATICALLY.Now all of the sudden...it's saving as a .21 document, which is obviously nothing... Is this a setting or a change to the software?Ugh, I've done it for so long, I can't seem to remember to stop doing that and add .pdf to the end of all my documents. Remember, I've got a digital filing system that's been consisten for years - if I start putting the date somewhere else, it's going to make things very difficult for me to manage between clients.

After the latest update in the morning, Acrobat reader DC does not print anymore. Hello, We have Adobe on Citrix environnement VDI. We use Windows 2012R2 as master and we face an issue with the lastest version of adobe reader. We have bugs like first screenshot :Something went wrong. And when we open Adobe reader it's ok but when we open any pdf, the software is completly stuck/freeze, we need to open task manager and kill it. (second screenshot, you can't view but it's stuck we can't zoom, can't up or down, can't add text or underline etc etc) In fact we open the pdf you can zoom dezoom up dwon etc for 2 seconds and after that stuck/freeze for infinte time.Do you face this issue? Regards 

Hello, I was working on filling in a dynamic PDF Questionnare for an application process. It worked perfectly fine to download and save the file, and I had no issues saving, reopening, and editing the document the first 4 or 5 times I worked on it. It is a large PDF as part of a rigourous application prcoess, and I spent over a week doing work on it already. I need to be able to repair this file as I do not have time to start from scratch. My Adobe Reader is up to date, and I attempted to repair the installation, which did not help. I have no issues opening any other PDF's on my desktop or in Adobe Reader, so I assuming the file is corrupted. Assitance repairing the file as soon as possible would be unbelievably helpful, please!!

Hello,  Using Acrobat Reader DC 2020.013.20074 the option to 'enable playing of 3D content' is greyed out under 3D & Mulitmedia in Preferences. How can we get this option back? We can't enable it, and also the yellow banner asking to trust this document keeps reappearing constantly.

Is there a way to auto fill an excel document with info inputted onto an Adobe document? I'm in charge of managing and tracking my organizations purchases. Right now, anyone that would like to make a purchase has to input the same information on multiple documents and websites and I know there's got to be an easier way to get all of this info inputted into all the systems without having someone take the time to input all of it. 

I'm currently filling out a larger document with several drop down fields. Most of them work fine, but there are two that do not allow me to select anything. Nothing.As they are mandatory, and the document is used for an application, I cannot proceed in that application due to the auto-checker telling me that both those mandatory drop down menus are empty. Yeah, no kidding.  I assume that I am simply not hitting a prerequisite for those fields or that they are not recognising me having filled out the previous step.  I'm really at my ends and don't know how to proceed - is there any way I can manually delete the drop down fields and write the information in there myself? Or can I save the document without as some kind of print document in a way that the auto-checker won't notice that I did not fill out those two fields?
