Acrobat Reader

It's a fillable immigration form, the problem I've ran into is not all the fields are fillable as they should, for example for flling in an address I select that it's an apartment but it won't let me fill in the apartment number. This seems to be a problem with Macbooks and these fillable pdf forms, I do not have this trouble in PC.  I'm currently on an m1 macbook. any help appriciated!

Hi, I prefer typing up equations and explanations on a word processor, in this case, it's Google Doc. There is an add-on that I use very often called Auto-LaTeX Equations that allows me to type equations using LaTeX code, and then using that extension to convert the typed-up equations into images of equations. In the Google Doc linked below, you can see that all pages in that document contains the images of the equations that I typed along with a hyperlink to that image. Whereas in the attached PDF, only the first ten pages of the PDF file contains images of the equations, and the rest of the pages contain substantial blank spaces with only the hyperlink to the image if you click on the blank space. I need the images to show up in the PDF in order for my professor and the grader to grade my assignment fairly. I've scoured the web reading everything I could in a couple of forums (Google's and Adobe's) to try to fix this problem. Some solutions I've tried that gave me unsuccessful r

I just downloaded the latest version of Reader (20035) on a new computer. Now my pdf files with images show as gray pixels. I've tried several different pdf files. I've tried some of the same files on another windows 10 computer with the same version installed. Everything looks fine there.

I just replaced a Toshiba laptop with a new Lenovo laptop, and cannot print a PDF document. I have contacted Geek Squad, Lenovo, and Epson, and have not been able to resolve. Epson provided me with driver and network downloads, but still not able to print PDF. Any other items will print just fine. So who can provide a solution. I should mention that when I click on print for the PDF, the printer just spits out page after page of gibberish at the top of the page. Sometimes 2-3 lines. Sometimes 8-10 lines.I have to turn the printer off in order to get it to stop.I am frustrated to say the least. Thanks in advance for your help. 

Hi all, I recently moved files over to a server which is using DFS and can only open one PDF at a time unless I turn off Sandbox Protection. This is happening to everyone and I've narrowed it down to be an issue with Adobe Reader and DFS. That being said: Is Sandbox Protection worth having on?Has anyone else had this issue and were you able to resolve it?Thanks

Hey everyone, We have a HP Desingjet T790 that is shared with our server (windows server 2019). Since we updated driver and firmware, we have the following issue: In the print preview, the dokument is centered on the sheet:The actuall print however looks like this:These are the print settings used:First I thought this was a printer issue, but the strange thing is, that if I print the same file on the same printer with the same settings form Foxit Reader, the print looks like it should. I'm really greatful for any help or hints!-Tobi

hello my comptuter is an IMAC OSX version high Sierra 10.13.6. when I open a pdf file with acrobat reader DC I got thsi message failed opening rster file or this one failed "filter". my printer is a brother DCP-7045N. I proceeded to a software update of this printer without any success, still impossible to print. But if i try to print the document as an image it works. Can you help me. I called brother support without success to solve the problem.

I ams o frustrated. I save a lot of documents from web or print as PDF and save to separate disks (not hard disk) with my computer.  ALL of them come up with error as damaged or invalid.  I have used two "recovery" software programs.  One failed miserably, the other gave me a "root object" missing error.WTF is going on that all my PDFs are inaccessible.  Is it my security stuff (AVAST)?I have lost so much important info.When I look at the PDFs they are only 32KB or 64KB in size.Is there any other solution other than trying all the recovery programs out there?J

when printing off my email and saving to pdf for printing some file are oversized and are longer than the width of the paper.   I have to reprint several times after reducing the the size of the text several times to make it fit.  Is there a function that does this automatically.  thanks

Hi, I did an upgrade from win7 to win10. Adobe Reader no longer opens. I click on pdfs or the program, it runs in the background, but it does not open. I tried to give firewall permissions, to do a clean reinstallation with cleaner tool, but nothing. With the clean installation it works the first time and the next time at the pc restarts... the same problem. Help!

Hello! I have a problem. I have a file with Persian (Farsi) text, yet if I copy it, then I get following gibberish:  . I tried various solutions like downloading fonts and then copy to Microsoft Word, but it didn't help. Could anyone please help with this?

I am scanning old handwritten manuscripts from about a hundred years ago, and I would like the handwritten letters changed into more readable regular font, like Times New Roman or Arial. How do I do this?

Hi all, I tried to download the latest version of Adobe Reader for Linux. Even though the download site offers versions for ancient proprietary operating systems, there is no choice for a modern Linux. Within the archive I found Reader 10 from 2013. Did Adobe disontinue support for modern operating systems? Best,Michael

PDF files on my macbook have always opened to the default application Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.  How can I change the default back to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

I need help with the following scenario:An excel file is exported as PDF, a director digitally sings it with a certificate. He sends the file to two managers and they have to countersign it. But the managers are unable to add their signs as the file is locked because of the first sign. How to multiple digital signatures without the file being fully locked?

Had been running Catlina when Adobe was not compatable any longer. Downloaded Big Sur have have uninstaled Adobe DC reinstalled but still can not print a PDF.

I am unable to scan or print after I deactivated Acrobat Pro. 

Hello,I received a medical receipt in PDF as an email attachment. I want to save the receipt on my laptop -Windows 10- so I can then attach it to my claim form for my insurance. I cannot seem to do save it - only print. Can someone help?    Thank you kindly. 

Hi Has anyone found issues with the latest App update for iPad Adobe Acrobat? We try an open a PDF from dropbox on the iPad and a different file opens. When we open the same PDF on the desktop Acrobat Reader we have no issues.  We can we open the PDF on the iPad App. Cameron

I  think that I need Adobe to open some documents that I receive on my PC. I only need ADOBE for my PC, and I use it only a few times a month.But it is expensive at $21.99 PER MONTH. Surely there is a cheaper rate?Or, can I get by ithout using it at all?I find it very difficult to change anything on the page - the only option seems to be t okeep paying. This is very expensive for me.

Dear comunity:It has been a long time since this happens, and it does in diferent browsers (firefox and chrome) and computers, but when i receive a .PDF in an email and i want to save it, there are 2 action butons on the icon of the file, one showing to save on the cloud (google drive) and another to download the file.Here is the strange situation:1st time after starting the computer, when i use the download buton on a pdf, it opens a normal file location selector window and it downloads it properly, and then, opens it in the acrobat reader, which has not been ordered.After that "1st time", always i use that icon, it does not download the file but opens it on acrobat, and you must use "save as" to save the file.And another disgusting thing...  When on acrobat reader you choose "save as" there is an in program file location selector window, and after you use it, another from windows appears.   Why this 2 step procedure?   I mean,... i can live with it, but.. so
