Acrobat Reader

Hello,hope you can help me with the following issue. We are signing our interal documents via certificates with the function "Tools / Certificates / Digitally sign" in Adobe Reader/Acrobat.Every user has its own certificate and every user has configured the Appearance like that: on the left side there is an imported graphic with the handwritten sign and on the right side the Name and Date will be shown.This works good on almost every document but sometimes we get a really strange behavior. That means that on some documents the Name and Date is not readable because it is compressed on the left side. The letters are on top of each other:I.m.o. it does not matter how the PDF files has been created. Some are created out of MS Word some are from SAP system. We have also tried different text directions. Does anyone know this behavior?If you need more information please let me know. thanks and best regards,Christian

I want to download an older version of acrobat reader. The version DC really sucks. Tried to online chat but it was either an ai or a very stupid one. I told him 10 times I dont want dc and he kept asking me the same og sending the same link - alas. I just want the old version. DC  - I cant figure is out. Bad layout, cant find stuff or set it to my likes. Woul appreciate help. I need to create a pdf which cannot be text-copied and the options is not there with the DC version.

Hello I hava a problem on my device to use the Perview Pane funcionlaity. I am using windows 10 1909 [Version 10.0.18363.1198]. I am using Adobe Acroba Reader DC version 2020.013.20074. I am not able to check PDF in outlook and on the file explorer only for the PDF files. For others format it is working. The "Enable DPF thumbnal previews in Windows Explorer" is checked. What should I do next to get this funcionallity back?

FILL AND SIGN BAR ON RIGHT NOT SHOWING WHEN I DOWNLOAD PDF DOCUMENT FROM MY EMAILI was always able to open my PDF documents from my email on chrome with the Fill and sign icon on the right. I did not have to save them on the computer first. Suddenly the documents do not show the fill and sign bar on the right. Not sure what happened. i did have to quit chrome and reopen chrome. Not sure if that caused this change. I would appreciate help so i can see the bar with fill ans sign on the right when i open a PDF document from my email. I am using the Macbook pro with Big Sur OS.

Only option is "OK".Additional information:1. All other features in "Fill & Sign" work as expected, including inserting graphical signature, 'X', check marks, circles, lines, and dots.2. No security restriction; "Security Method: No Security".3. Only restrictions are "Document Assembly: Not Allowed" and "Page Extraction: Not Allowed" which I suspect are from Acrobat Reader limitations.4. I have tried to change the Font use

Whenever I try to open acrobat reader DC it always opens ans closes immediately which is very terrific and is a big headache. Please help me with it.

How can I highlight a locked pdf document?

Hi everyone, I am having issues with Adobe Reader as it does not recognize my font, which is Prime (light and regular) (https://www.fontfabric.com/fonts/prime/). I use the font on a Word document and then save as PDF, but Adobe Reader does not allow me to select/ copy the text. I tried the ctrl+D > fonts and nothing appears on my document (see image attached to this message).I also tried the Edit>Preferences>Page Display>Select "Use Local Fonts">Click OK>Close the PDF and Adobe Reader. And it did not work either.... Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!   

I am seeing that other people are having this issue but dont ever see a solution. I cannot print mixed (letter/legal) pdf's. Apple and Brother and HP are all telling me after hours on the phone that it is an Adobe issue. I print large files and have Big Sur. Does anyone have a fix? I do only have the free Adobe. If purchasing a plan is what I need to do, I will, just dont know what plan. Which plan is compatible with my MacBook Pro and my dual drawer Brother printer? (Have an dual drawer HP as well but was told that Brothers work better with Macs. Not finding that the case so now have 2 nice printers)Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I make a PDF with dynamic fields and send it to a customer, can he lock the PDF with Reader after he has added the texts and logos in the dynamic fields? 

Hi I'd like to find where adobe saves my signature. I'd like to use it elsewhere but can't find it anywhere. Ive read there is a signature hereC:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\  But nothing is in this location (I understand this may be a different kind of signature though.) ThanksGary

I have loaded a 400 page document that is 18 MB into the Reader Software. The pages display very slowly and then stop after about page 8.  The search command also does not work within the document. I have tried loading another, smaller document into the software and it works fine.  I tried the troubleshooting offered another user herein with a similar problem such as toggling the settings for large documents and quick searches and it had no effect. I would appreciate any help that could be provided. Sincerely,      Phil Dolliff

Hello,When I edit a PDF mapped from my website, the line height of the text change, move to top. I know the PDF edit tools and the mapping line height are different. My questions are1- Can I set a fix or default line height for my Foxit reader test fields?2- Can I know the line height of the text field? PS: the PDF is mapped with the java Itext7.Thank you.

Recently after Flash reached it's end of life many of the PDF portfolios used within my organisation have displayed an error (see screenshot below). Can someone please advise how to convert the contents to a newer format (that doesn't rely on Flash) so the PDF portfolio displays correctly? Preferably without third party apps/tools.I have created PDF portfolios since the Flash E.O.L and they seem to display without issue.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. 

I have a 2 page doc that I have blown up to 16 pages in Adobe. In the print preview on page 1 it shows a lighted box in the upper right corner with the rest of the page greyed out. This is what was printed. I don't know how to move the box to the next area so I can print the next part of the page.Any help will be appreciated! Mareliba

A custom plug-in loads in "Acrobat Reader DC" and after 2-3 seconds the Reader says"Invalid plug-in detected and reader would close"The same plug-in is working fine when using "Adobe Acrobat" So the difference is ("Adobe Acrobat") and(All Readers = ("Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Reader X and Adobe reader  10")) Please help Best RegardsMajid Hasan

I have a cross-stich pattern that I am trying to enlarge and center on a page. I am also trying to select a portion and enlarge it more and then print the enlarged portion. I have done this before but for the life of me I can't remember.

Can some please help me.  I have been trying to print an pdf A3 Colour photo print for the last 4 hours and it is not working, it prints but like it is like it is printing a negative.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe reader but still doesn't work.  I tried printing one of my photos from jpg and this works so am totally baffled as to what is going on.

Hello! Having difficulty changing my adobe settings to allow me to first open pdf files from internet explorer instead of automatically saving them. I'm using Windows 10 and can't seem to find this option on Acrobat Pro Preferences.  Thanks.

I hate adobe frequent updates, and find it very to be very suspicious.They always push the stupid worthless McAfee antivirus hoping someone will forget to unchecked the instal checkbox. Why a company like adobe would even support a criminal, justice fugitive John McAfee?!?!?John McAfee has a long history of criminal charges even accused of killing his neighbor in Belize!!!Would you give him access to your computer via his McAfee "antivirus"?!?Definitely not me!

I reinstalled Adobe Reader and set up a password.  When I try to open a file sent to me, I am asked for a password.  I assumed that would be the new password I just set up.  It doesn't work and neither do my passwords for the file source attachment nor my e-mail address.  What password should work?  Thanks.

I tried installing adobe reader, but was stuck in installing for over 30 minutes. It said "waiting for other installtion" on the screen. I have a macbook air with the latest solfware. The probelm was not resoloved even after consulting with adobe customer service. Escalating the issue for futher troubleshotting on this forum.
