Acrobat Reader

Acrobat reader : After "Sign yourself", the possibility to add my signature no longer appears, anyone to help me ? 

So previously you could use find (Ctrl + F) to locate text and it would zoom to the position of the text with no problem. For some time this function seems to have stopped working. Dispite there being several occurances of the text, the program does not zoom to the first instance and then the next as it did in the past. It now zooms what appears to be randomly around the document. Using advanced find will list all the occurances correctly but clicking on them does not zoom to the relevant occurance.I have unchecked the fast find function but this makes no difference. The documents are PDFs of drawings. The function has always worked in the past (probably more than a couple of updates ago).   

Hello After I launch Acrobat Reader Dc the initial home page loads but when I try to click on something the reader freezes and stops responding, I have to close it via task manager. I have tried many fixes but the only one that seems to be working is uninstalling and reinstalling it. (These are the fixes I have tried: https://windowsreport.com/fix-adobe-acrobat-reader-dc-not-responding/) Could you guys help me to figure out a way that does not force me to reinstall the program every second day? 😄  System: Windows 10, 64-bit

I recently updated my computer Macbook Pro and now I am unable to open downloaded PDF files to view and also unable to open attached PDF files in my email to view. Not sure what the problem is. 

I'm trying to figure out how to use a submit button to save a document to a preset location on my network. For instance, my network has shared drives where I would like to save a new copy of the form by a field name and the date to a specific folder on the shared drive. Any ideas on how I accomplish this?

I have documents that could be 100 pages long with several versions of the same 'view'.  I need to search just one version.  We used to have seperate documents for each version and this made it simple, but we are 'making things better' and craming everything into one document now, making it difficult to work with. I can open the document multiple times, but I can't lock to a single page - or better yet- area of a page leaving me with multiple occurances of the same 100 page cluster.  Of course I'm only given the free reader version, or again this would be simple. I just want to open single pages of a searchable document.  I'm very frustrated- please help.

How do I "save current page" or "export current page"?  I don't want to save the entire document, just the current page.  This should be so simple.  Every word processor I've used the past 22 years has this option.Please answer, thanks!

I understand that modern web browsers are no longer supporting the Adobe PDF plugin (and I've read the Adobe support document that covers this).I still don't understand WHY. There are countless websites that will not provide the option for downloadable PDFs that can be opened offline in Adobe Reader DC. As an example, the Government of Canada's immigration department's entire library of online forms are inaccessible. You have to —somehow— find a downloadable version of the form, which isn't clearly presented.Today I'm trying to download a patient tax form from my pharmacy, which offers this via its online service. One button - View Patient Tax Receipt - and you have it to download. But it doesn't work on Safari, Chrome, Firefox in 2021. Nor do you have the workaround available - sometimes you can right-click and "Save target as..." to get the PDF. This is not available either (you are presented with an option to search the internet for the text in the button - sigh).I can't f

Dear people,I try to open a pdf file from JavaScript via browser, but I am failing with the correct syntax.  window.location.replace("acrobat://C:/path/to/file.pdf") opens the Acrobat Reader correctly but it always claims that the syntax is wrong. Initially I try to open a file from SharePoint via Webdav but that seems to be the second step. The simple example from above does not work. What is the correct syntax? I searched the whole internet for an answer but was not succesfull. Help is very much appreciated!  

Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass auf meinem Terminal-Server die Folgende Meldung kommt: Adobe Acrobat 32BitMAPIBroker funktioniert nicht mehr.Der Fehler kommt wenn ein User ein geöffnetes pdf via Adobe Acrobat Reader DC per Mail verschicken möchte.  Genutzt wird die Version: 2020.012.20041Server wird mit Windows Srv 2012 R2 Std betrieben Der Server wurde mehrmals neu gestartet und Adobe wurde mehrmals neu Installiert. Davon hat nichts eine besserung gebracht.

I have somehow created a grid overlay on all PDF's I open in acrobat. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Hi, On my company laptop, I signed in the acrobat dc reader with my login crednetials. I wanted to access my pdf files in my personal document cloud in acrobat reader but I dont see any link under Home>Files which says "Document Cloud".   On my personal laptop, I am logged in with same adobe account in acrobat reader dc. And I can see "Document Cloud" under Home > Files.  Wonder why I cant see any way to access document cloud on my company laptop. I also dont see a way to add more cloud accounts such as OneDrive which I can access from insider Acrobat reader The reader version is 2020.013.20064 on my company laptop and 2020.013.20074 on personal laptop

Is there a way to make the bookmarks permanently visible on the left hand side when using adobe on iPad like they are on my desktop? I know the bookmarks are accessible on the menu at the top but it is very onerous to click through several levels of bookmarks in a large document when I need to move quickly from one to another. This is a feature I desperately need to make adobe functional on my iPad in court.

[Moderator moved from Using the Community (forums) to Acrobat Reader.]   I am printing sewing pattern and the 1" scale marker is 1/32" small. This adds up over several inches to be serious error. On my Dell laptop, Windows 10,  latest adobe acrobat reader, Brother inkjet,  it prints fine. On my wife's Dell (3 years newer), Windows 10, same Adobe Reader DC version, Same printer (on wifi network) that inch is short. I have matched up all the choices and properties. So we have been printing with 103.22% size increase and it's close enough for small things,  But she's a quilter and sometimes the error is noticable, like on a Queen size for example. Anybody got a fix for this? She's starting a major project.

I'm new to Vellum.  Is there a way to keep out CREATED BY VELLUM from my finished book?

I would like to propose a slight change for the next version of the adobe acrobat reader, at lest on the Spanish version there is a confusing item between signing and certificate signing. Without knowing there was it has passed without notice for years, since the actual purpose of it is the same and the certificate signing can contain a handwrite signature like the first, it would be a nice change to merge the two in just one tool named signing. Once that's done, it would be best to allow invisible signing with certificate, letting the users know and familiarize with the signing panel (cert). And lastly, the appearance set up of the cert signing which can be personalize, it doesn’t not let to work with the text size proportional to the image, the result is a sign with a date that is way big. Hello, I have a problem with creating an Email out of a PDF opened in Adobe Reader DC.For testing i opened a word and wrote "test " into it, then saved it as a .pdf.I opened the test pdf with reader dc and clicked on the email button.I take standard Outlook profile and click on next.Adobe Reader asks me if i want to send the document as a link or as a copy, i take copy.Reader should now open my Outlook and generate an email with the document attached.On my personal device this works with Adobe Reader DC but on my customers client it doesnt work.I get an error after clicking "send copy" from Outlook wich states that there is no standard outlook profile set. After this error i get an error from reader "There was an error while sending your mail" an then the window gets closed and i am again at the pdf document.Sending this document when i open a new mail in Outlook and attach it via drag and drop works fine, it is just the button within Reader DC wich doesnt seem to work for me.&nbs

Hi Everyone,   I want to convert the important pages of my website into pdf format and want users an option over the site so they can download it for offline reading. But in this scenario, I am a little confused how to do it I have tried some tools they either damage the layout or mess with the symmetry so I am looking for a solution. let say I want this page [Link removed by moderator] to be converted how can I do it with Adobe Acrobat and remain it over the site. Hello,in Adobe Acrobar Reader DC 2020.013.20074 is document digitally signed and during saving is Adobe Reader crashed (it is happened from last update of DC).What is the solution? Or how can I know add the crash report for further analysis?

I have set up a new laptop and bought one drive which I have never used before but now I cannot open a .pdf unless I save it first?  How do I open a .pdf without having to save it? I am using windows 10.

I use Imac. For a few days every time I open a pdf, after a few seconds it closes by itself. This problem is making me very nervous. I'll copy the report to you.
