Acrobat Reader

I am the author of a PDF document and I am unable to save it anywhere. I have not disabled this feature because I do not know how but I need to enable it so how is this done?

On pressing TAB key, adobe reader cycles through annotations and also through links in the pdf. (annotations = Places where I highlighted, underlined or striked through.)I need to cycle only through the annotations.There are so many links in my pdf, it's hard to cycle through all of them while going to the next one of my annotations.Please help.

Hello! I am trying to open a PDF file with the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and it says 'There was an error opening this document. The root object is missing or invalid.' Could someone please help me? That document has a lot of important notes (I am a student) and I really need it ASAP 😞  ** I am a Mac user by the way, using Catalina right now. The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version I'm using is Version 2020.013.20064

So, I've gotten some math worksheets from a big free math worksheet website.  In the PDF, there is 2 pages, one without the answers and one with.  I want to print multiple pages without the answers.  I select page 1 only for printing, collate, 4 coppies, double sided printing.  It ends up printing 2 blank sheets, on both sides first, then 2 double sided sheets.  Problem is, one side is orentated wrong.  If I don't collate, I think it prints out 2 double sided blanks sheets again, and then 2 1 sided sheets. However, I can print 1-2 pages, 2 coppies, collate, and it comes out fine.  How can I take 1 sheet, print it on both sides, and have 2 double sided sheets, for a total of 4 worksheets?

hi all I noticed from few days that adobe reader freezes  a lot   i checked task manager and found it uses half gb of my 8 gb ram and the power usage always red ( very highand when i open adobe the fan statrt to work crazely ( non stop) any suggestion everything updtaed and i dont think that i have any virus or  malware as when i close adobe everything come back to normal 

Every time i open a pdf file, print dialogue box does immediately pop up. I could not find how to solve this. I even re-installed the app but it didn't change. I am unwilling to close it every single time. How can i solve this trouble?

I have installed Adobe reader and illustrator, but i am still asked to install a multimedia player to play the embedded audio file. I have searched online and couldnt find a solution..best regards

Are there anybody here who have trouble to attaching a pdf file and sending with an email?I have had problems now for approx. 4 days. If I send an e-mail without a pdf, it will reach the recipient. But if I attach a pdf, the e-mail come back to me with a message that:This email has been rejected. The email message was detected as spam.And I have tried to send with 6 different g-mail accounts, and also from Protonmail account, - and all works when I send without a pdf file as attached, - but as soon as I attach a pdf they end up in spam ... or I get this message back.These pdf files are invoices which are saved as pdf.I have been sending these pdf files for many years with no problems. So this has been happening right now lately.I would be happy if I got a feedback from Adobe, if there is something wrong with PDF files at the moment?Thank you very much. "vocal/loud read" at view in toolbar is reading/vocalizing in english. How can i change this into Turkish?

When I create a document my hyperlinks to other pdfs work, but they don't work for people that I send them to. I login the next day and my links don't work for me either. How can I correct this?

I just installed the latest versione of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a new PC running Windows 10 64bit. The installed versione of Acrobat is 20.013.20074 I am experience problems with a lot of PDF files created by third parties.The pdf producer are is mainly:- Microsoft word for Microsoft 365- Microsoft ppt for Microsoft 365- Microsoft excel for Microsoft 365 Please consider that I can open the same files with other PCs running windows 10 64bit too (both with Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Pro) I aready tried to unistall and reinstall Acrobat (both Reader and Pro) but the problem is still there. Can someone help?Best

I used to add a text on PDF files last month easily. Today when log in documentcloud.adobe.com, after opening my PDF file and edit PDF/Add text, it bring me " Add comments" although I dont click add comments link. Neither I add text nor edit an existing text. I dont have subscription. I am using the free version.I couldnt solve it.Can somebody help me please?  

I have a dozen PCs that cannot print PDFs from any brower and it seems to be spreading as updates are installed.  The print dialogue box doesnt come up.  I have attempted to uninstall/reinstall Reader with no luck.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

We have one workstation running Windows 10 20H2 and the latest version of Reader (20.013.20074).  Beginning with this update we are seeing extremely long startup times for Reader when opening PDF files and when we close the PDF files the process stays open in the background for several minutes.  We have uninstalled using the cleaner/removal tool and reinstall fresh but the problem remains.  We have also cleared all appdata and preferences.  Finally we are currently operating without enhanced security mode or protected mode enabled.  Is anyone else seeing this behavior? 

why do i have to double tap stylus when i draw a signature? it works perfect in other applications? must be  a setting i can turn off, or to single touch and sign?

When attemping to use a digital signature (using CERTIFICATIONS, not Fill and Sign), the final page where you click "Sign" it does nothing. We use the Windows Certificate Store so it uses our LDAP system to validate credentials. Ive tried:Uninstalling and reinstalling the newest version of Adobe ReaderDeleting the Digital ID, and recreating it. Turning off "Enable Protected Mode at Startup" under Security (Enhanced)I have tried everything in all of these support pages that i can find as well. It DOES sign if you use the normal PKCS#12 Digital ID file, but Windows Certificate Store does not. I am able to 100% recreate this on every computer that uses adobe readerDoesnt matter what PDF file it is, it does not work.  Using my Administrator account on Acrobat pro DC, I AM able to digitally sign, using the way above with zero issues. We have been using adobe reader to do this for years and now all of a sudden it no longer works. I am trying to print documents within a program and the tool bar with the print icon will come up, but it will not print.  I go to the adobe icon and put it in the reader, and try to print from there, but it will not print.  I have checked toolbars and extensions in Internet Explorer and Chome and they are both on. Please help!

Dear Adobe Support Community, I am failing to open PDF files with Adode Acrobat Reader DC (currently using version 20.013.20074).The PDF files are stored on an alfresco server with AOS (Alfresco Office Services). When I try to open a file from alfresco I get prompted for username and password. If I click ok then I get this error:"The URL you have provided could not be reached. Please verify that the URL is correct and that the network location is reachable."However, if I click cancel the PDF file open just fine. What can I do to fix this issue? Is it possible to disable the authentication?

Hello, when I log into my adobe reader account, it says I need to renew my subscription, which is not true - I have an automatic annual renewal set up. I am as a result unable to use adobe. Please can you assist. Many thanks

I bought AdobePDF Version 12 years ago, it doesn't work after the system of my computer was reinstalled. The online service Kathy checked and informed me no technical support for that product, so I need to ask for help in the forum. Seems it's complicated now. Good luck, me.  

Hi All, I am trying to create a pdf file to open links to other files on my windows surface pro 2 tablet (2-in-1 pc). I created an excel file on my laptop, with links to other pdf or jpegs. I am saving the excel as a pdf, and the links are working perfectly from the pdf. When I copy them to my surface pro 2, only the excel recognizes and opens the files.The links in the pdf are no longer clickable.  The only difference I see is that I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my laptop, and Adobe Reader Touch on my windows surface pro 2 tablet. Could this be the reason?I don't have the Acrobat pro available on my surface pro... Both my laptop and my surface pro 2 are running on windows 10. Any other suggestions or help would be helpfull, because I am stuck now. Thank you!!Vincent
