Hi! I just noticed that I was charged for a full year of Adobe subscription, even though I had my credit card paused at the time of the payment. I didn’t authorize this renewal and wasn’t planning to continue the service this year. When I log into my account, it says the payment has already been made and the plan will renew again in a year. I’d like to know if there’s any way to reverse or partially refund this charge, considering I haven’t used the service and the payment was processed while my card was paused. Thanks in advance for any help!
I have a user that loaded a PDF file from a SERVER path but when they try to save the file a “Save As” dialog appears. The “File name:” is correct, but the Folder path at the top of the “Save As” dialog is NOT the original folder path. Instead, it is the folder path to the last folder where they had previously loaded a PDF file from the LOCAL hard drive. For example, the folder path ends up being the user’s “Documents” folder. As a result, they cannot save any changes to the PDF file to its original location. The user is using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2022.002.20212 and modifying the PDF by applying a highlight annotation to a word. Using Windows 10. I have no problems using the same type of folder path. I thought perhaps there is some type of security preventing the PDF file to be modified. Is there a document security property that can cause this behavior? The path is a WebDav path and looks something like the following://example.sites.com@SSL/T
Failing that, what's the menu item (or 'itemS' possibly) to do this?I've got this set correctly in my preferences, but i frequently receive documents that don't obey the preference. I also have a few docs that, over the course of several viewings, _sometimes_ don't obey it (which i find really odd). I have to do this often enough that it would be extremely convenient if there was a key combo for it.It's not just that i try to go mouse-free as much as possible; when my window's too narrow the button's not even visible on the toolbar, so i have to hunt for it in a drop-down from the toolbar.Running mostly on a MacBook Pro, if that makes any difference. Peace be with you.
Had a great experience with customer service when trying to cancel a plan I had subscribed for, based on personal change in situation/budget needs. Customer service was very flexible and helpful, and shared options for other reduced priced plans for me.

Hi everyone, I opened a PDF yesterday and noticed all of the sudden my touchpad scrolling isnt working in Adobe anymore. Hi, As long as I have been able to read, Adobe has offered a free PDF reader software without requiring payment of a subscription. Has this changed? I have recently found myself unable to read PDFs and am being asked to pay $20/mo as a minimum subscription price.
When printing an "ADOBE PDF", the PDF text becomes garbled. This may not be at the beginning of the PDF page, but after one or several pages.Adobe Reader version: 2024.003.20112
I want to change the orientation of the paper used to print images out as poster. I want to minimize the amount of triming and waste. No matter the options chosen, I can't seem to change the output. Is this a behavior that i can alter, does it require full verison of Acrobat?
How to clear recent file history on adobe reader
When I hit the convert button, nothing happens. I have checked to make certain my subscription is valid, but haven't been able to convert for a couple months.
Hi All, Previously our user is able to add/edit her pdf fields using Adobe reader Fill & Sign function. But just few days ago when she try to edit using the Fill & Sign, the "type text here" appears instead and unable to edit the text.We tested by typing the some text inside "type text here" , and then saved. We go back to the document again and try to edit and it works. But it don't work for the other fields that created from the past. Any advice or solution that we can apply to allow the fields to be able to edit again for the pdf forms?
Hi all. I'm getting frustrated beyond words. I have been chasing a 'common' error code (see subject line), for over a year, have previously posted but to no avail. This error code IS an issue within Adobe DC programming, as I can fix it by cutting Abode out of the loop and using competitor programs, or by using a web browser. Being admin in multiple social media groups, my basic IT skills are required to help those with little tech knowledge to access digital media. Specifically, papercrafting images, backgrounds and sheets from multiple papercrafting supplier companies, who use USB's to carry their media to their customers. Given the obvious risk of deletion, these items are 'locked' by the writers. After extensive research this occurs predominantly when a user attempts to acces a pdf file on this 'locked' media. I can erradicate the 'error' if the user [1] Transfers the data to their PC drive; [2] Bypassed Adobe by using their web browser as default file handler; [3] Uses alternative
When working on powerpoint, everything seems high quality and the image is crisp; however once I convert it to PDF, the lines become jarred and jagged looking. I've tried to view the PDF file on my browser (chrome) and it looks great, and I've viewed it from my phone and ipad as well. I'm just not sure why when I open the file itself in the acrobat reader, it just looks way off. In Powerpoint: In PDF reader: I've tried to troubleshoot it myself through various means, including: 1. Adjusting default resolution on Powerpoint to either 330 dpi or High Fidelity2. Looking at Preferences > Page Display on the Acrobat Reader and playing around with the settings of smooth imges / smooth line art / enhance thin lines. But it can never match the quality in Powerpoint.3. Saving as PDF while checking PDF/A compliant box4. Checking "Standard publishing online and printing" box when converting to PDF5. Updating Adobe Acrobat reader to the latest version6. Image on PPT is
hi there, how can i edit a pdf that has already been docusigned? The document won't be edited unfortunately.
I want my Adobe Reader run in a safe mode, which does nothing more than just open the document in plain text mode.Specifically, I want: 1. Don't run any script in pdf file. (I think this can be done by Edit -> Preferences -> JavaScript -> uncheck Eable Acrobat JavaScript checkbox) 2. Don't navigate to any link in pdf file. Just consider them as plain text. 3. Disable 3D and Multimdia features 4. Disable Forms 5. Don't execute anything embed in pdf fileThe reason for this is I get some pdf files which I can't trust owner of these files. Even after antivirus scan, I am still not comfortable enough to open these pdf files by Adobe Reader in normal mode with above features enabled. Can Adobe Reader be configured that way? Is there any alternative software for my requirement?

Hi, We all know that creating a rectangle (and setting it up properly) could make invisible anything inside its contour.I want to add test over it, but the text become invisibil as well.Is there any way to make the text visible? Thank you,
ZI'm having problems with Adobe Pro. I try to certify my document, and Adobe asks me to buy the plan again, however, when I try to make the purchase the response is: this purchase is not compatible. including confirming that the plan is active.
Win 10 64-bit computers do not exhibit this issue (even though they are installing the same 32-bit Reader updates). Win 10 32-bit computers fail in almost all circumstances, especially when running the MSP (or even the full installer) of any versions of Reader DC 24.005.20399 or above (24.003.20112 was the last version to install without error on Win 10 32-bit clients). It kicks out this very common Adobe error every time it fails:"Error 1328. Error applying patch to file c:\Config.Msi\PT1CB2.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor. System Error: 8" The failures are very consistent when running the installation from a command line (e.g. packaged distribution). This happens whether kicking the update off from an external installer (e.g. PSExec) or by manually kicking off the command line on a client. We also experience this error most times when ju

Bonjour,Depuis que j'ai fait la mise à jour de W11 en version 24H2 Acrobat Reader est très lent à démarrer.Il faut environ 30s pour ouvrir un fichier .pdf via l'explorateur de fichiers. Problème connu?
Currently some users in my organization are having an issue with Outlook PDF attachments. If users open PDF files directly from emails, they cannot print. If they click 'Print' button, a drop-down menu for a list of printers is showing and that's it. - Save PDF files then they can print.- Using an Edge as a default PDF viewer is working as a workaround.- Using a tab to move the cursor to 'Print' button then hit a spacebar is working as a workaround. I've tried below but no luck. - Reinstalling O365- Reinstalling Acrobat Reader or Pro Anyone gives me advice on this?
I simply want to click, then release the mouse wheel, and then be able to scroll up and down, say, a 60 page PDF document at the exact speed I wish, stopping and starting as I wish, simply by then moving the mouse on the mat forwards and backwards, no further button pressing or holding down of the button required. This is a standard, indispensably brilliant functionality I use on every single web page I visit, Word document or Email I read, it is only Adobe Acrobat Reader which does not have this basic mouse functionality, other PDF readers all have it as well, so why is it Adobe does not? I am aware of the auto scrolling option in Adobe which is incomparably inferior to the above method which is why everything has that really basic functionality I am talking about available as a standard function - everything except Adobe of course.
