Acrobat Reader

Earlier I was able to select several images and hit the button '"import to acrobat " and in a few moments a pdf file would be created. Now all that happens is, the selected images get copied to acrobat directory of the device in singular format! How do I get it to make a pdf file like before? Please help

Dear Adobe, Today I tried to reinstall acrobat reader DC from https://get2.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ as my current installation is giving some issues. When running the installer and without any prior information, request for permission or way to avoid it, two Mcafee trials are installed!Immediately, the unwanted and obsolete Mcafee crap starts using precious resources. When proceeding to uninstall them, it turns out the the uninstall option for the scanner does not work and I have to proceed to a manual uninstall. How can a 'proper' software company like Adobe resort to these kind of practices? Surely this is beneath you....

Hi,I use creative cloud subscription. I need to have a PDF file play audio. I tried loading the audio thorugh Acrobat DC, i go through the steps. But in the reader, I get a white patch where the audio content is. There is no playback. I need to send this PDF to a group of people who maybe having any reader version. The PDF plays back on Acrobat Pro DC, but not the reader.

Can anyone guide me, how to combine two different acrobat files to one file?

Dear all, I need your help on this. I am using acrodat DC version 2020.012.20048 on a MAC and it is impossible to type Greek characters. before doing the upgrate to Catalina everything was working perfect. I believe it has to do with the fonts as I am able to type English. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you

I am trying to save a file on pre-Print ( I will change this to PostSign event as currently theres no dongle with me to test ) event. I am failed to save file silently or in foreground!!. We are using Acrobat Reader 2017 Classic right now.But we want to switch to the new version 2020 classic.With the Customization Wizard we have generated a .mst transform file.By 'Installation Options' we setTo install the Acrobat Reader we using this commandlinemsiexec /i <pathtomsi>\AcroRead.msi /qn /norestart TRANSFORMS=<pathtomst>\AcroRead.mstAfter finishing the install I try to open an pdf file and get this message If we uninstall the Acrobat Reader 2017 Classic before and then installing version 2020 all works perfectly.So I think there is a problem with the uninstall routine during the installation.Has anybody the same issue, or is there somebody from Adobe who could check this?Thanks!

1. Personal2. Only Reader DC3. Only Reader faulty. Not only 'Print' but Properties, Edit + other dropdown commands.

The reader will not save any settings that I set. Also it logs me out all the time. ??????Version listed in attachment. I've uninstalled & installed several times to no avail....

I have attached pictures of the user PDF that goes blank when she uses it. We have reinstalled the Adobe and tried some trouble shooting but nothing seems to work.Can you recommend steps that will help with this?

Hi,  I am running off a windows 10 HP - I have created a 15 second video which is approximatley 66mb. I wish to be able to play this video in a document I have created. To do this so far I have:  Inserted the media into inDesign - firstly it inserts and reduces the quailty majorly (frst issue) see screen shot. This is not just the poster frame it is for all the frames. However the second issue is that when I then export this as a interactive pdf it tells me that firstly i should "click to active" which I do. And then ( see screenshot) this happens and Adobe PDF Reader closes and crashes. The video does not play and it attemt to "connect" and crashes.  I have also tryed inserting the emdia striaght into Adobe PDF using Rich tools however the same issue occurs. I have also tryed to change the preferances and the 3D multimedia options and neither have worked.  Cana anyone help me with this issue of first getting the orginial high quailty and se

I transferred an ADOBE pdf to a file folder in MS Word and it corrupted all the documents in the folder!  Any suggestions?

HiI have a question:Oftentimes PFD documents are printed to serve as written evidence in court, hence the metadata is not available on a written document.As an example;Financial- accounting- and other data are stored economic-administrative programs and are extracted at appropriate intervals and distributed according to agreements/contracts etc.When this information is extracted to PDF and distributed, the original PDF-file contains Metadata relevant to the time of production, such as with invoices.It is mandatory to store bookkeeping and accounting data over years by law. Economic-administrative programs may reproduce any report at any given time, also years after actual time.However, these reports (at any given time) also carry metadata, i.e. dates of creation, who are not available on a written document.Am I right that printed PDF documents without verified Metadata of production etc. hardly can serve as written evidence?If you know any place I can get my claim verified I will be ve

I am getting the below error when I open the file which I created in my application. The issue is only with adobe acrobat reader but works when opened in browsers."There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (110)."The file with the issue is attached. Can someone please let me know what the issue and fix is? I'm having the same viewing issue as in this thread from 2016: Comments invisible after latest upgrade - help? When I open PDF files I have marked up, I can see all my changes in the comments list on the right-hand side, but the changes are invisible in the PDF itself. When I send these files to another person, they have the same issue. It only seems to happen in some files and not others, and it is not affected by zooming in/out.I am running fully up-to-date Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.008.20080.I have tried opening the same file in an older version, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.008.20071, and I get the same issue.I'm on a PC with Windows 10.

Hi, I am facing this issue with the "comment tool" in Acrobat Reader. Whenever I select the pen for the first time on a page, or select a color for the first time, the pen gets automatically deselected after the first stroke. However, if I select the pen again, it remains selected until I change the page or change the color. It is very annoying. Is this a bug or it is happening only on my machine? Any suggestion will be helpful.

This seems like a pretty basic question.   How do I copy text from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to paste into another application? If I select text in a PDF file the Copy option in the Edit menu repaims grayed-out and Ctrl+C does nothing.   The example shown here is from the owner's manual for the Nikon D810 camera.Thanks in advance! 

Do PDF Portfolio files have to be downloaded before being opened? Can they be opened in a browser such as Chrome, IE or Edge?

I have spent the last several hours scouring Adobe's page along with others trying to find out if the Acrobat Reader DC continuous track will update itself in a similar way to Creative/Document Cloud apps, via a service or the like.  My real question is: with these more frequent updates, will users be prompted for administrator credentials to install these updates, or will they install silently without any prompting of the user?I tried to ask this in a chat through the Adobe Admin Console, but the representative repeatedly directed me here, stating that they were unable to answer any questions about Acrobat Reader.

Hi, I'm using Acrobat Reader DC for my studies. I write directly my notes on the PDF file.  It works quite alright but it happens that I lose my notes after an error occurs on the file.Can anybody relate or help me ?Thanks, Stephan

whenever I try to fill on pdf pages with hyperlinks on the pdf it will show the above message and I cannot get rid of it by restarting the application and anything. I have seen this error message for about half a year ago and now I confirm it is caused by hyperlinks on the pdf files. Please fix it as soon as possible.

I installed reader about an hour ago and have already uninstalled it. I needed it to open a document I need for a business and could not. There was no help available and the chat feature was useless. Is opening and  reading documents not available in the free version? 

Hi all, I have a pdf form in the reader and i would like to submit data from fields to another web application.So I have a submit form button with "http://192.168.0.112/testpdf.asp" for link to html or XFDF format.The problem is that the HTML works only in the reader and not in acrobat pro preview and in a pdf browser preview. All the other formats do not work even in the reader Thank you in advance 

Adobe software title and version (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, version 20.12.20048.400142)Operating system (Windows 10 pro, i5-10300H, 8GB RAM, GTX 1650 Ti)Issue happens when I installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader and once I click on any file, it will run through Licensing or agreements for the first time, after that, it goes into the file itself. Then if I close the file and go back to file explorer, whenever I click a PDF file, my cursor will lag as shown in the video below.
