Acrobat Reader

Hi everyone,I am experiencing some troubles with a document exported in PDF.I created the file myself including links to web pages. When I open it on my laptop using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Anteprima (I am a macOs user), I have no problems. But, when I attach the document to an email, the recipients can click on the links in my documents only when they open the file through the preview feature. When they download it and open it with whatever app, the links are no more visible. How could it be possible? I'd be most grateful to receive insightful comments and tips. Thank you in advance!

I installed the Adobe reader app and was prompted to lock (or not lock) the app for security reasons. I chose to lock it and was taken to the page which allowed me to enter a lock pattern. However, the app wanted me to unlock it from this page and never allowed me to create my own lock pattern. Now I am unable to access Adobe reader.

Hi, I can't listen audio comments made by my professor in a PDF file. I tried the following:              1.- Install Adobe Flash              2.- Check updates for Adobe Acrobat ProBut the problem is still appear. I don't know what to do.My system is operating with Windows 10 Pro. Version: 20H2Adobe Acrobat Pro is: 2020.012.20048  

All of a suddden I can no longer see the text that I enter into a fillable field using Reader DC.  All the text fields appear blank. If I try to type into one of these fields, nothing appears.However, If I click on print(preview), all of my text shows up and prints.  I have been using this same template for several months without issue.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Reader to no avail. Does someone have a solution?    Currently Windows 10 on a PC.   

I am trying to install Adobe Reader for Windows 7 but I get the error that a newer version is already on the computer.  I cannot find an older use in Programs or uninstall.  I do a search for "Adobe" and I get many hits.  How do I go about deleting any of theses files that are old programs?

Hi when there will be a fix released for the printing problem in IE for the windows 10 2004 feature update and newer.There is workaround to turn off the protected mode within Adobe or to save the file and open it from another location but both options are not a real solution to this problem.This buq is still open for a long time but installing latest updates for Adobe and windows does not fix this issue.https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/known-issues-acrobat-dc-reader.htmlProblem: Unable to print using IE for latest Win 2004 update when only Reader is installed. hello, i am facing the issue with Digital signature. which is not showing in adobe reader but is showing in chrome adobe extension and even in adobe mobile reader app. please help.

Hello,Many messages have been posted to the web with solutions under Edit>Preferences etc. These have not been successful for me. When I click a PDF file, or when I open the Reader from the icon in the task bar, it will simply not display in a maximized window. I have tried changing the preference settings many times, to no avail. I have WIN-10 and use Edge as a browser. There are no other issues, just Adobe.Anything?Thanks 

I tried to extract .msi from the .exe using "acrobatreaderdc.exe -sfx_nu -sfx_o"Path" -sfx_ne" and other variations of that. I am still unable to extract the .msi. Everything this command does is start the installation. Can anyone help me with this subjekt?

This morning my Win 7 PC had updated to the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2018.011.20036 and all of a sudden cannot open PDFs that it could before.When trying to open these PDFs I get a message that says "Please enter a document open password".The PDFs I am trying all have password protection to prevent editing and page extraction but opening and printing is allowed.I have checked with a friend running the previous Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2018.009.20044 and it opened fine. He has since updated to the latest version and now has the same problem as me.There is definitely NOT a password required to open the document, it is just for prevention of editing. Definitely a problem with this latest release. Please can you advise when a patch will be released.

I find after upgrade one version of Adobe Reader DC, the document cloud button in Home Tab disappear, also it disappear in toolbar. Originally there is one button to upload local document to cloud, now it is missing. Also originally I can access other Cloud Storage, but now only OneDrive Storage is available. My location is at China Mainland. My version is Acrobat Reader DC is 2020.012.20048, it is a macOS version. I also tried on windows platform version, it seems the same. Currently only the mobile version in Android still remain the button.Whether this is due to different region restriction for the Cloud Storage Option? Or it's due to some bug?

I have a Shared network Drive in a Windows Server 2019. In the File Explorer, I can double click in one PDF and it opens ok, but when I try to open the second one, it does not work. I have to close the first one to open the second. If I try to open from inside the Reader DC, by clicking FILE, then OPEN... it works. I am able to open multiple XLS, and DOC (with MS office) Files. any idea?

Hello,I have a certificate that my company provided to me, to sign documents. Reader DC accepts the certificate, but does not allow me to use it to sign the documents.I can't seem to find the reason. I have created a digital signature using the tools that comes with the Reader DC and I am able to sign documents with that signature. But not with the certificate.Can anyone guide me through the steps to verify that certificate is the problem. And what might be the problems with the certificate.Thanks in advance.

Dear Team ,After updating the windows , print doesn't work whenever i try to print the pdf file from the browser . Save and print is working but not printing directly from the browser . 

I am creating a fillable document and want certain fields to be required but don't want others to be required. The problem is even though I click on each one, if I select not required it changes all of the fields, not just the one(s) I don't want to be required. Please help...thanks!

Hi there people at community.I am using OSX BigSur beta, macbook pro retina.But this porblem started in Catalina version.The documents appear to be more clear in native Preview app than in DC Reader.It looks similar to working with or without glasses for those who suffer miopia.Everything is legible, readable, but there is that feeling of a fuzzy vision.I have changed a lot of parameters in preferencies, but nothing seems to work. Thanks for your kind cooperation.

I am on the paid pdf pack version.When I open a pdf from file explorer in windows 10 (account signed in), and then click on the compress icon, it opens the adobe web page (with my account signed in) and then asks me to upgrade (or free trial.)  However I have already upgraded to pdf pack, and upgraed to it specifically so i can compress files.Why is this happening and how to solve it?Thank you

Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes every time I open multiple files, it opens the first file fine. However, when i open any more than 1 file it takes around 1 minute to open and begins not responding. I have tried this on 3 different setups on 3 different machines

When I try to add sticky notes and comments to a pdf in Acrobat Reader in another language other than English, it does not work. I can use other keyboard in other programs, but not in Acrobat Reader. No other program has this problem. Is there a setting that I need to change?I am commenting on a document in Latin, and I am trying to type macrons above vowels. I am using a keyboard that has the International Phonetic Alphabet to accomplish this. Microsoft Word has no problems but Acrobat Reader does not recognize any characters much less the macrons.Thanks for you help.

I need help with the Organize Pages tool. It decided to stop working properly within the last 2-3 weeks, and I need it to work. I have talked to someone at adobe, and they didn't not help with the problem. I am very frustrated and need this to work like yesterday.

I am trying to sign a form and getting the above error. My team has roughly 20 members that each need to sign a copy of this form, and everyone is getting the same error. Is there a workaround or a plug-in that we need to download? Can we use a regular signature instead of a CAC (military Smart Card ID) signature? Thanks.

hello.. i cannot open Canadian Immigration form through Adobe Acrobat Reader DC latest version. How can install the older version which allow me to open the files? or is there any other way? thank you!

HelloI am using Adobe PDFMaker in Outlook 2016. I am converting emails into a PDF via the plugin. However some of the emails in Outlook are read receipts. When looking at the read receipt emails in outlook it has the correct date, however when I convert them to a PDF, the plugin alters the date of the email to the current date. How do I fix this to show the correct email and not todays date? This only affects read receipt emails, not any other email types. Thanks!
