Acrobat Reader

Hallo zusammen Wir haben folgendes Problem in unserer Firma.Folgene Meldung erscheint im Outlook wenn ich eine PDF Datei im rechten Fenster als Vorschau anschauen möchte. Für diese Datei kann keine Vorschau angezeigt werden, weil die zugehörige Vorschau nicht installiert ist. Was muss ich machen um dies zu lösen?Habe schon etliche Stunden mit der Lösungsuche verbracht ohne Ergeniss.  Wir haben Outlook 2021 64bit und Adobe Acrobat Reader DC x64 (24.005.20399) im Einsatz. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe. Gruss Oli

I have a pdf document that I have been using for the past 2 years that suddenly is showing "0"bytes", when trying to open the document, I get a message stating, could not open because it is not a supported file or the file has been damaged.  I am currently still using Windows 8.  I can ope up Reader and still see the document in a small "tile" but it will not open.  Is there any solution for this, a way to recover the file?  Does Adobe have anyone that can do a "remote" session (don't mind paying for it).Thanks

Ich möchte mich gern mit meinem Google Account ganz normal im Reader anmelden. Dieser führt mich über Anmelden zum Google Konto auf die Webseite. Das funktioniert soweit bis dann gesagt wird, dass ich nun zum Reader zurückgehen und den Tab schließen kann.Im Reader selbst kann ich ab diesem Zeitpunkt nichts mehr tun. Er ist eingefroren. Ein Schließen ist nur über den Task Manager möglich. Beim erneuten Öffnen zeigt es mir nicht an, dass ich mit meinem Konto angemeldet bin, ganz im Gegenteil. Ich muss mich erneut anmelden. Danach gleiches Spiel.Den Reader habe ich bereits reparieren lassen. Den KI-Support habe ich auch schon kontaktiert. Dieser ist jedoch unterirdisch schlecht, sodass dieser keine Hilfe war.Hat hier jemand eine Lösung? 

We have the problem that sometimes in pdfs from a another source the characters are shown as rectangles. this problem does not occur with every pdf and just certain people.  We recently updated acrobat to 64 bit and using the newest version. I also read, that the option "only use local fonts" was removed in dec. 2023. This option helped us in another case with the display of pdfs. Is there another way to fix this problem? 

Adobe Reader DC opens for a few seconds with a blank white screen and automatically closes down in 2 seconds while logged in as a user other than local admin on windows 10.Uninstall and Reinstall made no difference.Uninstall, delete Adobe folders from user profile and Program Files, cleared the Temp folders, Reinstall did not work as well.Please advise.

Network printers which have been updated out of existence still appear (as default), for some reason adobe runs its own printers cache, no apparent way to clear it.1.Where does it pull its printers lists? (and default printer for that matter)?2.How do I clear it?Along with the protected mode issue this is a nightmare for us, please help.Thanks in advanced!!

Hello, our practice management system generates PDF letters that get emailed to other dentists. One dental practice keeps getting a "there was a problem while opening a stream" trying to open the letter on their end.  Thoughts?  I am checking to see if they have a different version of Adobe, and it they are trying to open the document directly from the email vs. downloading it first.  Thanks! 

hihow to adjust Adobe Acrobat dc settings to open the last active tab with a single click instead of showing all open PDFs in the taskbar preview just like a web browser..I know the way "Combine taskbar buttons and hide label-> never"but it's not user friendly for me.

If i use the "send by Mail" Button to attach a PDF to an standard Outlook Email, nothing does happen and Outlook doesn´t open a new draft. Outlook is the default setting... 

 While dowloading this form imm 5257 from the canadian immigration website, i initialy saw the above message but was able to download  this above ,by opening it with adobe reader and fill it .However, once i validate and save it on my desktop, i dont see the contents on the desktop, even  while uploading it.It still shows the above image, but only when i open it,it shows the full form.Why iis it so?do i need to to change it to where i can see it like normal pdf if possiblemore importantly, can i just upload this document to the IRCC website as the way it looks ,will they be able to open and see the completed document? PLEASE HELP AND ADVISE!

Hi, Out of the blue, Adobe Reader stopped working. It won't open PDFs and won't even launch. It shows up in Task Manager as Adobe Acrobat with sub-processes (also Adobe Acrobat). No matter how many times I try to open the app, it doesn't launch, but does show up in Task Manager. I uninstalled, rebooted, and re-installed. Same problem. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

Hello,I am trying to find out if it is possible to disable the "Show online storage when opening/saving files" option via the registry, command line, or even a configuration file. I have seen that it is possible to add registry keys under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown.I have tried a few, but I haven't found the correct ones yet. I am using Acrobat Reader DC 2024.005.20399 64-bit.Thank you.

Reasonably new to Acrobat Reader Pro. The right/left arrow keys on my keyboard used to default to control page up/page down. Now, however, when I open a pdf, the cursor appears in the document (as if to select text) and the arrow keys control the cursor. How do I get page up/page down to be the default role for the arrow keys?

I have an pdf. I signed it, then I add another signature. The first become invalid because of changed pdf. This also happens, when I add the dss-information after the signature.The problem is only visible in adobe.All other pdf-verifing software say "okay". The pdf is okay, because nothing is changed in the byterange of the signatur.What can I do make adobe verify it okay?I added examples:The eep_GdPicture.pdf ist the unsigned original pdf.eep_GdPicture_signed.pdf has two invalid signatures (says only adobe) Bernd

I recently updated my Adobe Acrobat Reader as per a notice that popped up on my iMac. Today when I printed the first page of a pdf using AAR, the page printed as all black with the text and anything else that should have been black in white. I tried printing a few pages from within the file and just the first page printed in all black. I have no idea what is causing it. I had no problem before I did the update. I appreciate any help!Cheryl

after upgrading to Win 24H2 Acrobat Reader does not work.i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat but to no avail

I accidently hit something and changed the language of the menu options to something other than english. Now I can't read anything in the menu lists to return it to english. Can someone help me please.

HI,   I am seeing for multiple users that have latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC that every time when trying to open a pdf file the Adobe Acrobat Sign in prompt pops up, please let me know if there is any option to not get this sign in prompt or is this a mandatory feature to be able to use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?   the environment is mix of Windows 7, Windows 10 and few Macs High Sierra and Mojave  The Adobe sign in prompt is only coming up for few folks, the others like myself can open pdf file without being prompted to sign in

I'm trying to uninstall adobe reader. For some reason Adobe 2,3 and 4 show up on my macbook desktop but not in my applications. Everytimes i try to delete or move to the trash i get the message "The operation can’t be completed because “Adobe Acrobat 2” needs to be downloaded." even though I'm able to perfectly open the app so it must already be downloaded. I can't uninstall with creative cloud or a cleaner tool. The cleaner will run and say it's been a success but all 3 apps are still on my computer. Please help

Hello, I use Adobe Reader XI very frequently at my job. I save a lot of PDFs that are sent via email (Outlook desktop client). However, Adobe Reader XI's default save location is in my temporary files. Every single time I save a PDF - and I can get up to 100 a day - I have to go search for the folder I want to save them in. Is there any way at all to change the default save location so it's not in my temporary files? It's incredibly annoying and wastes a lot of my time.Things I have tried:Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Add Folder PathEdit > Preferences > General > Uncheck "Show online storage while saving files" box (It wasn't there)Edit > Preferences > Documents > Uncheck "Automatically save document changes to temporary file every _ minutes"I have searched through the Adobe forums and found many people with similar questions and none with no definite answer. Does anyone know how to fix this? Adobe doesn't seem to care very much.

I updated Adobe Acrobat Reader DC today but now I can't send any emails. The share button greys out when I press it and the other ways of sharing aren't available. I repaired the app to no avail.Any advice?

The option 'Restore last view settings when reopening documents' is checked, but it's not working!!! This is very annoying!Every time I open a file, I need to go to the last page I was reading (because everytime Acrobat Reader opens files at the first page). And I use to enable the left panel with page thumbnails, but everytime I open a file, this panel is closed!!!
